| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I usually don't like to rag on first episodes of shows, but this maybe one of the worst first episodes I've seen, with comedy that wasn't even close to funny. Add to that Rossete's awful voice acting and I had a headache by the end, well not really. I'll keep watching though. |

| Mmmm.. the episode didn't really do it for me. I mean, just hearing the common voice actors just kinda put it off for me. :/ Not giving up on it yet though. |

| isnt he aizen's voice actor in this anime, it was that blond general looking guy. the main character is ok, for a while i though she was gonna be another stupid tsundere that beats up everyone when they say somthing to her, but for now it seems ok and i think chrono might actually be one of the "bad" guys. though they plainly pointed it out that he's an akuma (demon) rite at the end. |

| I really wasn't impressed in the least. I didn't read the summary, so I didn't know what I was getting into. This episode is a mess, in my opinion. I have no idea what this show is trying to be. A comedy? An action? A fun adventure? A serious drama (well an attempt at one)? I'll give it a few more episodes til I decide to drop. |

| I haven't read the manga so I'm just going by what I saw in this first episode and I must say it's pretty interesting. Basically an exorcist who belongs to a religious order, but for some reason has a demon as an assistant. I hear Rosette's voice and I already know this is going to be fun but I kind of feel a bit sad hearing Kawakami Tomoko's voice :( RIP. |

| The main heroines Seiyuu sounds like a cheap Megumi hayashibara imitator maybe its just me. Hitting off of what most people have said I think as a first episode it was a pretty lame introduction to the characters. |

| That was a pretty nice first episode I don't know what I'm signing up for.. But I think I'm ready for it This anime reminds me of D Gray.man a lot Also a certain anime where the MC tried to help but destroyed things instead I want to remember that :( |

| I get the hate, but don't. Maybe it's because I went in expecting it to be bad but I was impressed. It's nothing crazy, but it's a cool setting with some real heart put into it. That was also surprisingly grotesque at times. That first demon, which the satanist turned into had a lot of detail. The fact he was a satanist who was doing some kind of ritual, the mention of it being a hobby of the rich, the bodies that were mummified, the use of the holy water on him and most importantly his outfit! His outfit clearly showing that he really just was a rich dude that was transformed. After some scary movement and a cool fight ending with his head shot off, the demon which he ended up summoning and which we can assume transformed by possessing him pops out of his chest. Him exploding or whatever happened was a bit weird but it was a really solid first 10 minutes. The tone shifts of gross detailed demon fighting to comedy are not done to perfection but I think the point is this is a carefree rule of cool series, or at least the first episode is, and we should expect it to be a cute comedy with a cute girl who blows up demons with infinite guns. The wrath was a cool design as well, very creepy. Fight and detail weren't as good as the first fight but it did the job. Main girl and the action/atmosphere of this episode was very early trigun-esque but a tad darker. |

| I love the OP in this series nothing less from Minami Kuribayashi. So we have 2 Destructive MC in a 1920's America setting exorcising demons and shit. Looks like I'm having a good time with this one. Also for some reason I'm starting to doubt on Minister Remington like he just looks so fishy. Milky_way1886 said: Pretty good first episode imo. | I feel like one lengthy hunt would have been a good first episode, not 2 hunts crammed in, trying to figure it all out among the actionl. |

| I've been searching for something that reminds me of the greatness of both Inuyasha and Noragami yet has a world and lore and feel all its own, and so far this look as if it'll do nicely, so I believe I'll continue watching. |

| I like the Chrno Crusade duo already. The missions aren't anything special, but this was merely the first episode. The plot gotta pick up later. |
