| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Tomoya's little rage there was priceless this episode. The ideas in his head are still very stereotypical though. Found some of the interactions this episode to be kinda amusing. Stop playing footise kids Lol, the dating sim trope is strong with this one but it's important for him to get ideas. |

| More of a Megumi-focused episode this one as Tomoya tries various approaches to... well, at its core it's just to try to get her to understand what on earth he's going on about. But also to get her to agree to take part in the project. And, of course, to become the sort of person suitable for the role he has cast her as. Which doesn't work. They ended up playing games all night long... After wanting the shortest game and Megumi's constant attempts to get away... Hmm... seems even without pause/the ability to go back over stuff I was able to keep up with the important bits while watching live, albeit with a story that I already read. It does kind of make it hard to do these comments though, so about half of the above came from a rewatch with subs later... |

| Well that certainly was an episode. Maybe I'm just tired by it seemed a bit...on the boring side. Maybe that's the point what with Kato being the focus and her being unremarkable being a plot point. We effectively only had two long scenes this week, the first at a restaurant and the second at Aki's. It was fine, though the dialogue really felt unnatural/scripted, moreso than I usually notice in anime. Perhaps a bit of a mix between it being a fairly meta series in general and my overall lack of interest due to fatigue gave me that impression though, I dunno. At least the one waitress reminded me of Poplar from Working! :D |

| That was an enjoyable episode, the dialogue stays interesting and fast paced. Though, it's missing any surprising or unexpected event to make it exceed expectations. |

| The title of the anime definitely does not lie... how to raise a boring girlfriend indeed. At least for now, the comedy is enjoyable and for me personally, is enough to make up for the other shortcoming and problems I have with the show, especially those surrounding the titular character. |

| This anime is way better than I though it would be when I first read the synopsis. I'm really pleased that I decided to watch it and the episode was nice. |

| I thought it was quite funny how they kept focusing on background characters in the cafe rather than Kato when she was talking, as if to emphasise how little she stands out. Quite clever, in my opinion. And jeez, she really is so boring and monotone, especially when she talks. Although, I did find it funny when she talked about Eriri staring daggers at her in such a deadpan voice. And Tomoya's rants are spectacular and ridiculous. |

| Kato is indeed incredibly boring but I suppose that's the whole point. The bad thing is the prequel has already shown us that this is not really going anywhere on the romantic front. |

| Hahaha Megumi would make the best assassin in history. She's on stealth mode 365 XD. Aki has that Harem king power where by he attracts multiple girls but is to dense to capitalize. Hmm the producers were 100% right to choose Matsuoka Yoshitsugu as Aki's voice actor. with his character track list, he should have a sub category of his own. |

| That was so hillarious in its way, now I really enjoy the way Kato always talks without a presence and emotions. But that alone would be much sought and defining trait of her character, right? :D It's also interesting how Tomoya is almost always not conscious of women, I wonder when that changes for him. And the cafe scene were pure brilliant with those camera angles, they really tried to make her as invisible as it could be, perfect done work! Character dialogues are also great. |

| It was a super awkward episode. Had to mute most of the restaurant scene to get through it. But I love the interactions of all the characters. These interactions will carry the show for me, as the characters themselves are quite boring. But together, they are really funny. Also the noise Aki made there at the end before he fell over had me laughing so hard I had trouble clicking that "+" button on my list to get to the forums. I really love the OP and ED though. And the Changes into "Shaft-style" art is cool too, i like when that happens. |

| Katou might be the best girl. Good episode. I'm starting to like really like the series. Katou is so boring but at the same time she isn't. Unlike Kasumigaoka (my fav) and Eriri she has the most normal personality. Also like how they animated the cafe scene. They made you like at everything but her to symbolize how boring and unnoticeable she is. Anyway can't wait for the next episode. 4/5. |
