 Contemporary art magazine Bijutsu Techou announced that a new "unique" TV anime, titled 6HP (Six Heart Princess) and created by Takashi Murakami, will be aired in 2016. The announcement was given with a key visual drawn by JNTHED and displayed on the back cover of the magazine's February issue, released on January 17th. The front cover featured a sketch of Gundam.The PV for the series, released in both English and Japanese, was given with a call for staff in June 2013. A music video was also made for the 2013 Christmas cosmetic collection by Shu Uemura which was based on the anime project. | Argh CGI burn it with fire. Seriously though, Murakami's a very talented artist. He did the cover artwork for Kanye West's Graduation album and also directed music video Good Morning which was pretty cool. I wonder what he'll do with this. Also LOL I think there are some butthurt Otaku in the comment section hating it saying it's ripping off Madoka and Evangelion. |

| The 3D cgi animation used in the PV is not so fluid, which is quite a downer. The cell shading and the models is also too simple for post 2010 standard, I'm afraid it was done under strict budget. I don't know what to expect from the PV alone (except the obvious mahou shoujo fanservice), but I'll look forward to it. |
