| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I like the OP song already and it was a nice way to reintroduce the main characters. Very happy to see Celty back of course. Actually, I think the best parts of the episode involved her whether it's the Engrish or just her being herself. A refreshing start with a decent amount of comedy. Lol, police are still looking for Celty.. Poor Ikebukuro. RIP normal life. Definitely a fun start and looking forward to more. Oh and I like Celty's horse. Good ED theme as well. |

| OP w. flashback from first season and similar style of coolness. Celty chase stealing the attention of TV from that new character (a talent)'s interview. 6 months after 1st season, huh... A horrible news and that group rarely appeared in first season is talking about light novels as always. Massaging? lol @ FukuJun's character's father remarried to a foreign lady, who does the massaging of Celty. Seeing Celty making main guy remember the time seeing her with Mamo's character. There's also another new character (Shimono-san's character, probably?) ED with similar scrolling style. |

The van's new door is Mahouka (why?). A lot of new characters introduced in this season. Can't wait to discover more about them. Celty and Shinra's interaction is cute as usual. Mikado is poetic as usual. Izaya just as sadistic, and others retain their personality. Ah, 2015 is a year of DRRR cliff-hangers. |

| Damn,so many references. Never been much of a Durarara fan (always preferred Baccano tbh),so hope this cour will be better than S1. Okay episode,not much happened just Celty being chased around & reintroduction/appearances of characters from S1. |

| Cool first episode. Liked the opening and a bunch of characters introduced. Dem references doe! XD Gotta love that Celty fanservice ;) The visuals of the ending is just like the old one but the music is very differently. It makes it feel kind of weird. |

| I forgot how much I love Celty :3 She was extra cute and Hot this ep <3 Dat seduction and squishy Body *A* and Dem "blushes" when the black smoke puffs out XD Shinra's one lucky bastard having her as his "wife" technically. Dat Emilia :O what a clumsy cute hot waifu :3 And Celty being Jelly was kawaii. Poor her at the end losing the money XD Loved seeing the Otaku group again XD TAMNI! | Great first ep..really brought back the atmosphere from the first season and it felt like a nice transition. id watch this show just for celty alone :D i just wish they woudl stop talking about anime like The irregular at magic high school and SAO. they were both shit.one much more than the other. |
| Well the tagline for this episode was "nothing has changed", and I think I'd agree. This episode keeps with the last season almost perfectly. Celty is still charming Izaya is still a devious bastard Shizuo still gets way too little screen time Shinra is still an idiot Mikado is still irrelevant Kyouhei and his gang are still more likable than the 3 main characters 4/5 Entertaining first episode. Establishes the tone and nature of Ikebukuro very well. Felt like returning home :) |

| I'm so happy that it feels just like the 1st season. I love Celty so much. I want to read everyone's reactions to the episode but I'm afraid of seeing more spoilers. I was going to read the novels before season 2 started but I never got around to doing it. And last I saw, volumes 11 and 12 weren't translated. |

| Mahouka ლ(ಠ_ಠლ) At first I was like "eh" on the opening but the more I listen to it the more I like it haha I've felt the chronology in the episode was quite baccano-ish, did the first drrr! season also had it, since I don't remember? |
| One must wonder what happened between this and baccano, did the author just became terrible at writting? was baccano actually good because of the adaptation or is drr adaptation actually bad? I dunno, either way, this was bad as expected. |
| Beautiful, just beautiful. Not one flaw in the first episode. Amount of references were insane, and there's still more in store. Also, the OP might just grow on me. ED wasn't that bad, but it just felt weird with the visuals imo. DRRR fans rejoice! |

I missed everyone (Esp Masaomi asdfghj), and I can't wait to see the other characters (I'm an anime-only watcher, so I'm probably not as informed as most of you, maybe...) Welp, good episode. | Loved all the anime references they had in this episode. (Won't lie, I gasped pretty loudly when I saw Aldnoah.Zero) I forgot how much I loved seeing Mikado and Anri interact with each other, just seeing the together kind of added more love for this episode. Quick question. Is Kida a supporting character in this season? We didn't see much of him and I have a feeling that we won't see much of him at all in season 2. |
