| From the opening, it was always obvious that Shinichi's mom would become a parasite or a victim. And I saw that coming as soon as they left in the earlier episode. But I still felt bad. And the denial from Shinichi in the end was really strong. I think this was the best episode of the entire fall anime lineup. |

| What i love about Shinichi is that he's weak but he's not a total fucking bitch like a lot of pussy main characters.. He's still REAL you know? Also damn losing his mom.. can't believe they already pulled out the big guns. That whole side story with the oil burn really hits home hard... Made me completely sad when they first told it and now seeing her killed by the parasite.. Damn it just really got to me lol |

| i really liked the piano ost and love how those other guys backed shinichi in time but the denial at the end was so strong.. especially since the body was right in front of him. but that stab to the chest should bring him right back to reality.. |

| I'm Probably the only one hoping Shinichi is really dead. Damn I hate his character so much. No matter what the situation, if you were in his place, would you be able to slaughter your own mother without a second of hesitation? First that was more than second of hesitation on Shinichi's part, also who wouldn't be shocked at the site of their creature mom. The problem is Shinichi shock seems more of a result of his weak character which is apparent by his denial that his mother is now a parasite. Second after the initial shock that my love one was now some creature, I would easily move to kill them be it they were my mother, wife or even my own child. Maybe it's result of my time in the military or maybe I'm heartless person but is it really that strange for someone to be perceptive of a really dangerous situation. |

| He cant recover from that kind of shock in matter of seconds after seeing the actual thing. In his mind he is rejecting that possibility. Its a kind of nightmare or tragedy that he doesn't want to acknowledge because its related to something too close to him that he absolutely doesn't want to loose. Shiniji might also be blaming himself for letting them go on a trip so that he gets his redemption. |

| Kana got introduced along with some hooligans who were beating up Shinichi's classmate. That was the most fucking badass episode yet in this series. Shinichi's mom. Oh no, she got taken over. I hope his dad is okay. He got stabbed too. I'm sure it's not in the heart or any vital spot. I desperately yearn for the next episode so badly. |

| Why is Kana even with that guy in the first place? Would've liked to see Shinichi unleashing Migi and owning those punks but at least they got their just desserts. Damn... I think I would also be as hesitant as Shinichi though probably not to the extent of wanting to chop off Migi. The call from his father the night before was already putting him on edge and now he sees his mother as a parasite. Definitely more than enough to go insane. |

| I absolutely called it. Knew his mom'd die. OP pretty much made that obvious. Sad about his dad. Also didn't expect Shinichi to get stabbed like that. All in all, the best episode so far, can't wait for next week's episode. I sense a transformation. >:3 |

| I loved it, it was awesome. Although I do feel bad for him, he was really attached to his mother. But who thinks going on a vacation with so many murders out there. Well at least it seems he still has his dad. I think Migi calling him weak and after his mother's dead, he will take karate classes or go White Kaneki lol Now thinking about it, it would be interesting a ghoul vs parasite battle :D |

| Pretty good episode, particularly the Kana girl who comes across as very intriguing so far and the final scenes with Shinichi's mother. Lol at those few thinking he should be able to kill the Parasite who look exactly like his freaking mother when he sees her. I mean, come on...... |

| Damn, this episode. It was inevitable for this to happen. Kana is already more interesting than our boring main heroine. Hope she stays as a recurring character. And damn those bullies. If I was Shinichi I would take advantage of Migi and beat the living hell out of them. 5/5 |
