| Episode 1: 10% Romance, 20% Exposition, 1% Diabel-lite, 4% Traps, 30% Sinon, 15% Lightsabers, 5% Guns and 15% Absurdly spent animation budgets. Opening was ok, but I still love Crossing Field more. LiSA is a great singer lol. Lots of good hints peppered through though. As for the episode, they really went all out. Quite faithful to the source I think. I hope they continue this because I was somewhat disappointed with the last cour. ALO lost a lot of the subtlety :( Also LOL at the kneejerk 1/5 votes. |

 Lol, they played the OP song at the end of the episode along with Sinon and her handy dandy gun. Whatever. I didn't find the first episode to be any special. The Asuna and Kirito moments were cheesy. Animation looks solid though. |

| I heard that "Kamiya-san" is voicing a character who appears in ep.1, and he appeared immediately! So he's really HiroC!! And that mysterious guy... Dating time with Asuna and meeting that megane guy in the restaurant. lol~ so expensive! Mentioning of the incident the death inside the game is affected in real life. The real goal is to send him to investigate that mysterious guy. Wow, that online game purchase is so expensive! Zaskar? That new girl... OP as ED. |

| Really boring. Though the bullet flying through the internet did give me a few laughs. Not too fond of the OP either. Hope it improves. |

The episode was 90% exposition and recap of shit we already know. |

It's a direct sequel to season one, you would need to watch it to understand what is going on in season two since At best you probably only need to read a summary of the first season to understand, there are a few minor details left out but that shouldn't matter much if you just wanna understand what is going on. |

| Let's just hope they also adapt "Mother's Rosario". Also the first ep was cool, still somewhat prefer " Crossing Field" over " Ignite". " Startear" was amazing though. |

| I pretty much only liked the first and last few minutes of the episode. I mean the rest wasn't exactly bad, but it was just a bunch of talking. And kirito and asuna on a date. Hopefully there talking about something meanful. I don't know because I only watched it raw. Well I guess its just the first episode. so far a 6 for me. |

| It wasn't too bad. The KiritoxAsuna moments made me fangirl...I just wish she could be more prominent within this season, but I've been told that won't happen. I guess it was pretty interesting, and I liked how they talked about Aincrad being the "center of space and time" for the virtual worlds. They're integrating this new season really nicely with the previous, and I appreciated that. Kirito saying, "It's like someone is telling me not to forget," was really insightful. That's what made me accept his return into the virtual world, even though I thought I'd feel meh about it. Welp, I'm not exactly hyped, but I'm mildy more excited for this season than before. I watched on crunchyroll, but when I refreshed to go watch Alnoah.Zero...looks like the site crashed. Wow. Hope it's back up soon. Just shows the surprisingly continuing power of SAO. xD Honestly surprised at how many people dislike Asuna. I thought their romance and the action sequences were some of the only redeeming aspects of the first season. |

| Decent first episode. Lots of exposition for what amounts to Light Yagami seems to have discovered MMOs. I can't wait to find out more about this Shinon character though. She actually might be the first fleshed-out character in the series! Those credits though with Trap Kirito and a lightsaber. Yeah, completely inconspicious in a game that only uses guns. Oh, but we can't deprive the special snowflake of the only kind of weapon he'll ever use. |

| I didn't think the first season was good, and I can't say they have progressed much. (though, it is somewhat enjoyable to watch). I dislike the glorification of virtual reality in this episode, but at least the visuals were good. I'll keep watching it though, since the hate and hype storms are hilarious. |
