I read your Usagi Drop review, and honestly I didn't expect to find one I 100% agreed with. Thank you for making people aware so they don't go taint their memory of the Anime!

Ik wou nog zeggen dat ik de review van jouw zag over Boku wa Beatles. Jij had alleen maar 9 chapters gelezen en zij toen dat je alles had gelezen. Ik denk dat je dat even moet veranderen van 94 chapters naar 9 chapters :)

I read your review of Kuroko no Basuke and I am sorry but I disagree with you on one point. You mentioned in your review that "having realistic depictions of basketball would be boring". I respectfully disagree and ask you to please give the Slam Dunk manga a try. I won't say that it does not have moments where it defies common sense (never to the extent that Kuroko does atleast), but these moment are very few and far in between (I can remember only 4 or 5 such occasions in the whole 278 chapters). In my opinion it is one of the, if not the greatest shounen manga ever written (not just sports shounen, but the entire genre) and I would request you to give it a read over once... the entire manga, if you can, and then let me know your thoughts. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your review of Usagi Drop. I loved the anime to death and was about to read the manga too because I wanted to know what happens when Rin grows up, well luckily I didn't go and read it! I'm happy to leave the story like this, and seriously, what the hell? If there was only ONE wrong way for the story to go, well it certainly went there. It just has me wondering WHY? Why ruin such a heart-warming story?

I read your review of Usagi Drop and I must say I disagree with it. Not on the whole (I am not condoning the ending or saying it was a good ending, quite the opposite actually). There were subtle hints through the manga foreshadowing how Rin feels about Daikuchi (particularly third quarter of the manga) that I saw coming from a mile away. And honestly, since the beginning of the manga/anime. Well, granted the only evidence (from the beginning) I have of that is that Rin doesn't consider him her father or even a parental figure. He's just 'Daikuchi'. Some may argue that there are plenty of children that call their parents by their names and not 'father' or 'dad'. And most of these kids who don't refer to these parental figures as 'daddy' or 'mommy' are normally kids whos mom or dad are getting remarried. But considering that Rin and Daikuchi were both alone and had no body else, this makes the scenario quite different. She has no were else to go, and it's nothing like if she had a dad and he was getting remarried or vice versa. Personally, I don't find anything 'disgusting' about the ending, however I find the foreshadowings to be enough for to accept the possibility that it is possible for that to happen to Rin. That being said, do I agree with Daikuchi's actions? Hell no! Honestly, he should have kicked her out. She may not consider him as a parental figure but he thinks of her as a daughter. I feel like I am rambling now..

I guess my point is: Is it messed up? not necessarily. Do I agree with Daikuchi's actions? nope (it was rather out of character tbh). Is it plausible? Maybe.

Will I be okay with stopping at the anime? Is there some closure to it? I'm afraid I'll read the manga and ruin the series for myself.

Also Sword Art Online was interesting for the first 2-3 episodes. After that it i turned into some stupid romance where every girl wanted Kiritos dick. Sword Art Online isn't even something I consider an anime. When i think of Sword Art Online I think of a fanfiction written by a horny 15 year old boy.

After reading your review on Usagi drop I have no idea how people are giving that piece of shit second half of a manga 10. I disagree about your overall score. It's just as bad as Sword Art online is what it sounds like. I'm going to watch the anime and stop there. However I'm afraid of being consumed with curiosity and I'll read it. Thanks to you I won't have to witness what sounded like a total clusterfuck second half.

What chapter does the anime cover up to? If it stops at chapter 24 that's perfect.
