| Wow, this episode was amazing and looked absolutely beautiful. They explored the concepts of memory and the pursuit of knowledge in a very interesting way. I love that every episode is such a strict exploration of some kind of sci fi idea and the art is always wonderful. Gahh. |

| Did not like this one. Confusing and convoluted without any real intrigue that would entice me to watch it again in order to try to understand it. The concept of data storage devices controlling minds is cool but I don't think this was a good way to present it. I usually like the sense of humor of this show but in this episode even the jokes were underwhelming. It was possibly the least visually stimulating episode so far. The creators "discarded" most of the colors, but we didn't get anything in exchange. No upgrade in animation, no noticeable increase in detail, nothing. Even without that, black-and-white can look very cool and stylish but I think they failed to pull it off here. |

| Where is the opening sequence at? I mean, I like the old one, but let's be real here. That's just pointless. That's what I started mumbling of when the narrator attacked me with his commentary, glad they didn't trash that. That monkey scientist is either a dump self-claimed genius or Dandy is just that secretly smart and we just don't realize it yet. You can say those librarian aliens where behind that glimpse of genius for all I care. I have a feeling that the energy they keep hyping up around Dandy is going to have something to do with Boobies. |
| The artstyle for this episode was unique but it wasn't that appealing to me. Really liked the concept of a planet existing solely for the purpose of being a library and the idea that Admiral Perry was willing to go to war because they kept pestering him about returning a book. The concept of a parasitic race of books was also intriguing. "Secrets of the Universe for Dummies" was a nice character. |

At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if Dandy is able to obtain the pyonia whatever the fuck it is energy by going to boobies every day, causing the other timelines to align with him going to boobies and providing him with fucking plot armor, ending up a parallel timeline to offset. |

| Sigh.... I wanted to and was expecting to like this, but I've decided that I just don't. I don't mind an episodic format; but it just has to have some meat, some weight, to the individual stories that it tells, like episode 5. Or perhaps just have FUN like episode 7. Everything else, while not inherently bad per say, I just find quite boring actually. There's certainly some weighty moments sprinkled throughout, but overall, it is just a bit too light for my taste, and ends up feeling like some children's cartoon despite all the boobies. If that's what you like to see, then great. However when you take on an episodic series and most the episodes simply are not fun or just lack weight, you can't but help but feel like it's just a waste of time. Just going to skim over the last two episodes, give it a 5/10 for effort, and call it a day. I somewhat believe the claims that the second season is better, but honestly even the lots of time I have isn't worth it to find out. I hope that the rest of you are or have already enjoyed this for what it is, and it seems like most of you do. See you around. |
