Hmm, you can't use it. The challenge mentions... I quote:

This means that you need someone that worked on any of those positions and you haven't watched any anime they participated (regardless the position). For example, you want to use someone as script but you watched an anime they were an animator. That won't be valid

Anyway, according to MAL, Noritaka Kawaguchi doesn't seem to have been director/script or storyboarder. He is only a producer of some animes, I recommend you in any case, to change that.

So I think it's valid, but I would say more that she has blue hair but no matter.

So I'm not a bright man. As I was doing my list, I forgot to document as much as I should and have a bit of an issue on my hands.

I watched a show that when done had less that 5,000 completions. Now that I realize I needed to document it, I go and look and see it has over said 5,000. I know personally that when I watched and added it, it was sub-5000.

Can I put "Sub-5000" in the box or must I watch something else for that challenge?

Edit: Also, does Makise from Steins;Gate count as a professional in her field? She has had papers from her published, so while not exactly working in a lab, she does at least have acknowledgement from her peers.

For Kurisu, it's ok. She works in a research group so she is a professional in her field. She has written many (scientific) articles.

If you have a screenshot of the statistics when you started it, maybe it could be.
I still recommend a movie if you can't find it.

How does total duration work for the genre challenges? I watched Tsurezure Children which has 12 minutes per episode with a total of 12. Does "16 minutes total duration add all episodes" or do I have to watch a TV series with 16 minuets each episode?

Total duration does mean TOTAL duration, all episodes combined. With 144 minutes in total, Tsurezure Children is perfectly acceptable.

Ara, ara... so for the TV trope, you choose at random a theme clicking on the blue circle ("random trope") at the top right.

On this random trope. "Growing Wings", you look below: "manga-anime category" and there must be references to several animes.

Among these anime, you choose one for your challenge (eg: here you can choose Madoka Magica or Cardcaptor Sakura). On your post, you must mention the name of the trope. You can leave the link or make a screenshot (in this example, the trope is called "Growing Wings")
If there isn't category "anime-manga", look for another trope.

Heyo! So, err...for 11. Watch one of the 5 lowest scored anime from your favorite studio, that isn't just restricted to movie/ONA/Special/OVA, right? Cause it says that any type could be used. So for Studio Trigger, I could use this music type, which is (currently) the 4th lowest scored anime by Trigger, right?

Also, about 42. Watch an anime with a human main character that is not Japanese, the character Alice Cartelet isn't Japanese, right? Judging from the summary, it seems like she's just English.

I also thought it'd be fun to try to use my free space for 59. Watch an anime recommended to you in the challenge discussion thread, so what are your suggestions? Some things I tend to enjoy are over the top insane (Kill La Kill) or have a main cast of assholes making the worst possible choices ever (Konosuba).

Please, someone explain.

When you click "show challenge list" the first thing that shows up says "[list=1]" which turns the [*] into the actual list for the challenge. You just replaced the "*" with the actual numbers. So just remove the [list=1] and I think you should be fine.

Also, about 42. Watch an anime with a human main character that is not Japanese, the character Alice Cartelet isn't Japanese, right? Judging from the summary, it seems like she's just English.

I also thought it'd be fun to try to use my free space for 59. Watch an anime recommended to you in the challenge discussion thread, so what are your suggestions? Some things I tend to enjoy are over the top insane (Kill La Kill) or have a main cast of assholes making the worst possible choices ever (Konosuba).

About #11, the description says:
"11. Watch one of the 5 lowest scored anime from your favorite studio - state the studio used; must appear listed as studio for the anime used; use already aired/finished airing that is scored. Only count those titles that doesn't require to watch a prequel/related anime UNLESS you have watched that related anime already; you can use any studio from those you like the most."

There is no mention of the type of anime, so you're free to use the music type.

Even if not for the challenge, I'll suggest to watch the first two (FLCL and PSG). Done by the same studio and people who did Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill.
