| This first cour was unexpectedly amazing. As someone who doesn't read manga, light novels, and the like, I had no clue what to expect. Boy am I glad that I didn't watch any trailers, because I was in for an amazing ride. While I do think that season 1 was great, this first cour of season 2 has blown that out of the water. First off, we got a freaking TOURNAMENT ARC! Wow. Just wow. The whole tournament was full of excitement, ingenuity, and badass moments from the get go. With Midoriya flying over the competition in the first leg and Mineta's idea of using Shouji as a shield in the second, I just didn't know what I'd see next. Then they came out with the freaking 1v1s, and HOLY SHIT were they awesome. Some, of course, were glanced over because they weren't as important to the story or whatever, but full-out fights like Uraraka vs Bakugo and Midoriya vs Todoroki were just so fun to watch. The introduction of characters from other classes and their quirks and personalities was really cool too. They'd previously mentioned that there were "lesser" classes, but it wasn't until now that we got to see them in action. Hatsume and her "babies" were funny, Hitoshi and his brainwashing made for some epic drama against Midoriya, and Tetsutetsu with Kirishima was very comical. Though I do feel the final episode of the first cour came to a rather slow and uneventful conclusion, it definitely leaves a lot on the plate about what to be hyped for in a few weeks. I honestly don't know how any of this is gonna play out, but I'm sure it's gonna be epic. Definitely one of the best anime this season. Side notes from episode 13:

| I liked the segment of the Hero Name choosing.A hero name will be the id everyone will know them by so it was very important but compared to Ida's personal vendetta it feels superficial The kid's eyes in that last scene were cold and full of a killer's instinct.I am still so curious to see why Midorya said he will live to regret his decision.I hope he will not die. But is ALSO STUPID AND SUPERFICIAL for smb so on point as Ida is to lose all focus when it comes to Stain.better heroes than you were put down,what will you do?be able to resist longer,to what outcome,because in the given circumstances all I can predict is DEATH. |

In the manga they say "Ridley Hero: Alien Queen" So I'm guessing that's why they weren't specific on that because of copyright. |
| Kind of an uneventful episode this week, but it was fun seeing them come up with names for themselves. Poor Bakugo, didn't get to be King Explosion Murder. Still, Red Riot and Froppy are probably the best names to come out of this class. Iida looks like he might be turning into Sasuke. Uh-oh. Also, calling it now, Midoriya's motto will probably be something along the lines of "You can do it!" or "I can do it!" etc. etc. |

| Lovveed the episode it was a really good follow up episode for the tournament and i am pretty excited to see the students of the hero class train and work with their chosen internships while still really sad for lida and his brother , just who is that Hero Killer Stain ?? and i am pretty curious too about what he said in the middle of episode 11 " the only one i'll let kill me ... is All Might " pretty fishy but o well i am really hyped like really hyped for the upcoming arc and i really want to see their progress in the internships :D |

| I knew after reading the manga while waiting for season 2 I looked forward to this episode and it didn't disappoint. They've been sticking really close to the manga's pacing so far, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other students working with their internships that were not shown in the manga. |

| Ah, this was a fun chapter in the manga and it was fun to watch it as well. Pretty chill episode with everyone coming up with names. It's always great to see Midnight too. I lol'd so hard when Bakugo tried with his names all involving "murder" in them. Feelsbadman for Iida about his brother not being able to recover from the damage. The post credits scene with Deku meeting Torino had me dying. |

| Tsu-chan will always be the best girl!!! Froppy! Uraraka is a close 2nd :) Hyped for this next arc. One of the best villains in Hero Killer Stain. Bakugou with his names XD; imo Bakugou is an interesting character who has the potential to be grow more and more as a hero. Tenya needs not to go down that route :/ |

Here's a quick quote from a quick google search. Izuku's nickname, "Deku", was given to him by Katsuki when they were little. "Deku" is another reading of his name 出久, and Bakugou uses it to mock Izuku, as "Deku" can mean "one who can't achieve/do anything". Later, Ochako finds the nickname very inspiring because "Deku" gives off a feeling of "I can do it". |

| Fun episode, the name part is kind of important and the end of the episode is good. Preparing the show for something big that is going to come. Stain looks like dangerous and damaged assasin. |

| I thought this would be an okay episode, but I actually loved it :) Little Might was way too cute. SUPER!!  I think Deku was the best name for him. That nickname has really shaped who he's become, and Uraraka turned a positive light on it. The Uraraka ship is sailing strong :D And I'm surprised that no one stopped Lida from going to Hosu. The narration at the end was really ominous, but I hope nothing too bad happens. This should be an interesting arc. |
| tfw you thought Todoroki was gonna be Sasuke at the beginning of MHA but it's actually Iida instead Iida means business. His brother might be alive, but he's indefinitely lost the feeling in his legs, so I get the need to for revenge...but, like is Iida an idiot? His brother is an established, veteran hero and he got his ass handed to him by Stain, so what makes Iida think he can somehow win against him? -_- This was mainly a transition episode but it was a very good one! I especially loved the whole hero-name thing; I'm glad Midoriya chose Deku bc at this point it'd be weird for it to be anything else. I do wonder what Bakugo picked in the end though, hopefully not something like "EXPLODI-KILL!" or "GASOLINE GUNNER" (idk where they came from tbh) XD Best names for me were: 1. Red Riot 2. Uravity 3. Froppy 4. Grape Juice 5. Tsukuyomi Looking forward to seeing all the guys and gals out doing hero things in society! I love how much thought has gone into the whole process of becoming a hero. The Internships work a whole lot like work experience in normal schools/colleges work...you've gotta put the work in and slowly establish yourself to make a career. |
