| i actually liked the recap. i can understand that people got bothered by it (especially when you actually expected a normal episode), but everytime i rewatch a scene/episode of monogatari, i always find a small detail i haven't noticed before or something that can be interpreted completely different. so it was actually nice to look back at the beginning of all that. |

| So people were overreacting, it's only Nekomonogatari Kuro recap. I think they just aired this episode because it's ova and maybe not everyone is familiar with it. Actually i'm happy with it, because i like Hanekawa's arcs, nyahaha |

| Monogatari Series recaps are always worth watching, at least for me, so i have no complain about this one. i enjoyed it, especially since i can watch Meme again, truly a badass. the last scene always makes me shiver |

| They weren't kidding about the recap, huh. This is Nekomonogatari: Kuro ... compressed into one episode far shorter than its original two-half hour runs. I watched it raw, but the logos and titles for Monogatari Series: Second Season are there, so this really is counted as episode 6, I guess. For a compilation episode, I would have loved to see the events in the "gaps" from Tsubasa's memories of Nekomonogatari: Shiro animated though, if that were even possible instead of a condensed recap of Nekomonogatari: Kuro. |

| As I thought they might do, Neko Shiro volume 2 (down) includes summary episode 1 総集編I (episode 6) as a bonus. I expect we'll get the summary episodes as bonuses on all the arcs going forward but it is not yet listed for Kabuki 2 (down) or Otori 2 (down) so I can't be sure until they list the on-disc bonuses (none listed yet for those arcs). The Summary was Flawless in its own style... Explains all about Tsubasa and koyomi's destined meeting, Their pasts and the Sawari Neko also!!! You can say that this is the "Golden Week" Episode . Well.. Arm got detached like shit!! Its Raining Blood !! So you really like Hanekawa.. the one who you rejected because of Senjougahara being a flashy girl that confessed and was accepted... If you have reject her or did not meet her (no I think its fate that you will meet and help people after the incident..) then I am sure that you and hanekawa will be lovers then couples for the rest of your lives ... Shit... Damn its still hurts ... He meet that sword since Golden week!? I thought is was new... Koyomi was cool!! (Damn if he done that on the other fights... I wouldn't hate him for that..) | luckily i am watching this around 2 years after it aired meaning i was warned this was a recap episode that could be skipped and continuing to next episode rather then being dissapointed after waiting for a week and having to wait another week. Though i only watched the bake recap to get another title on my list recaps can actually be very useful for refreshing memory if you haven't watched it in a while, or there is just a lot of information to look back on that might be relevant later on, for that reason i think i'll just watch the recaps in 2nd season just before owarimonogatari starts airing and probably watch the attack on titan movies before 2nd season of it starts, on the contrary recaps aren't that usefull when it's not long ago you last watched making them very infuriating when watching it while airing and pretty even worse for people binging it like me if you don't want to skip any episodes included in episode count |

| Oh, it was just a recap episode. At least I don't have to write an essay describing every little thing now, because this is all stuff we've seen before. The episode should have just had the words "GO WATCH NEKOMONOGATARI KURO YOU STUPID FUCKS" for a few seconds then have something with actual consequence in it. Ah well, see you guys tomorrow. |
| Honestly would've been better if this was considered as a special and not an actual episode, but whatever, I liked it even though it was a recap/summary. Thought they did a alright job summarizing Neko: Kuro Regardless, onwards to the next arc. |

| I was a bit confused and was about to comment my opinions on a further ep. I thought this was the 6th ep. in the season since it is the 6th ep. on the list I have on my pc. By reading people's comments, it looks like this is a recap and that the Blu-Ray version is a bit different. Thanks for telling me. :P |

| Nothing much to say since it was just a recap of Nekomonogatari. Well instead of Araragi it's actually Hanekawa who falls in love for the first time but that ends in lost love.  |
