“For myself I am too heavy, and for you too light.”
Nothing special just a guy whos forced to be an introvert. started watching anime around early 2019ish i think lol. my "friend" at the time came over to watch Naruto on my tv, because i had a bigger tv then him. i saw it, thought it looked cool and started to watch it. from there i watched about 100 episodes of Naruto and started to look for more shows. i realized that Pokémon was an anime and YuGiOh was to, ive seen both of them and love them years before. 2nd and first anime I've ever completed was darling in the franxx, I remember crying over it and thinking it was the best thing in the world, i still stand by that. 3rd anime was sword art online, i also thought it was the best thing ever. once i started to watch more shows my favorite show at that time, and also i still remember staying up all night and watching was bunny girl senpai, a masterpiece in my eyes then an now. fast forward years later, i fell out of my anime faze quite a bit, i still watch but that enjoyment is no longer there. its just a habit now.
I had no idea that show even had a remake lmao... it's hard to imagine 100+ episodes crammed into 12 episodes and a couple movies could work that well, though I haven't seen the original or the remake so I can't comment on that. The scores seem surprisingly high so maybe they're not terrible, just different, similar to the Anne of Green Gables animes. The shift towards quicker pacing over the years really shows when something really old gets a remake.
The Love Hina anime's pretty good, it's mostly episodic so it's not a huge commitment either. Really sweet romance, the main thing I might see someone disliking is some of the humor because it largely relies on the female characters kicking the lead's ass because they mistake him for a pervert. I've seen a lot of people who grow to dislike the main heroine because of those gags, though personally I didn't mind them.
Not watching the new Anne Shirely anime yet, I tried watching the first episode but I just hated the pacing... the original anime has this slow pace that allows for deeper characterization, but the new show skips over a lot of what I loved about the original. I mean holy shit, they crammed four episodes into one! I might check it out again when a few more episodes are out since it seems like a good adaptation, but the things I liked about the original are too fresh in my memory for me to really enjoy the new adaptation. What do you think of the new Anne of Green Gables anime so far, since you're actually watching it?
Hello! I have mixed feelings for it since i just started it... the first few episodes are a bit boring but i think it gets better. I wouldn't recommend if you're impatient like me but give it a shot if you like vampires and gore. It's not too bad. 😊
omg hiii! i didn't even realize you commented on my profile xD
yeah I've been watching it super slow, I'm kind of clueless as to how everything could possibly end
im really bad with responding to messages, I don't have MAL on my phone anymore either so I see them super late or just don't notice them on web 😭 and happy birthday in advance! :3
the quintessential quintuplets is one of the better animes, I was pretty satisfied with the ending. i also never know what to say to people about love dilemma because I've never really liked anyone myself xD
