| This is a really great, sad and touching story arc. I love how it explores the relationship between Kondo, Okita and Hijikata, and how it exposes different sides to each of these characters. I also love how Gin is a (small) part of this arc and he is like there to support Hijikata and Okita. |

| Hijikata x Mitsuba FOREVER. I got shivers through this whole episode; it was so beautiful. Sad, but amazingly beautiful. Poor Hijikata.. I feel so bad. He absolutely positively loved Mitsuba. And he acknowledged it. When he was blushing in the flashback it made me break out into a huge grin. It's true though, no matter how sad, he would never have been able to love her as another person would because of the Shinsengumi. <3 I'm never ever going to let anyone else take Hijikata's love. In my heart, it's Hijikata x Mitsuba forever. Edit: In episode 114, Kuriko came along and it seems that Hijikata somewhat 'liked' her. After seeing that, I just had to come back here and say that I hold true that Hijikata x Mitsuba is the best couple :) You're amazing Hijikata. :) On another note: I'm not really excited to see the continuation of Gintoki and Takasugi's childhood relationship. In all honesty, I like arcs concerning the side characters better than the Benizakura one. But that's just my opinion and the next arc I haven't seen yet, so I'll see :) |

| this was an amazing arc. the drama was so well done, never thought id experience something like this going off the 1st 50 eps in this series. great job gintama for being so versatile enough and being one of the few long running shounen i can enjoy |

| looking back on the show, i have to say this is my favorite episode out of the entire series, not that the stuff to come isnt good but i think this ep is one of the best eps i have seen in any anime. |

It's probably my favorite serious arc, though. I think a lot of the other ones are too drawn out, but this one was just right and had really good pacing. Well, the arc after this is really good as well. |

| This was miserable to watch. The episode was amazing, beautiful, perfect and wonderful, but I sobbed the entire time. Only Gintama is really capable of making me cry like that... |

| Fuck Gintama, make me tear up like that... :( That episode was fucking awesome. The Shinsengumi was fucking awesome. Kondo was fucking awesome. Kondo speech was really great. It showed how strong is the link between our 3 warriors. Hijikata action was pretty selfish, but he was so awesome. The way he just fighted all these people alone was so cool. He's a great friend for Sougo, I knew he cared about him. Sougo face when he cutted the car in half was scary, I liked it :3 It was nice to see Sougo out of sadistic character, he does have a soul indeed. Like the guy up me, I hope the Sougo trying to kill Hijitaka doesn't end, it's so funny xD |
