| Nico's cloning magic is funny with the drawback of the clones getting younger/smaller more and more with each split. We have a new character introduction as well, Kanshi, who seems to also be Nico's familiar. |
| This episode was absolutely wonderful! Neko is *completely* focused on her relationship with Mohihito 😂 while Mohihito is entirely focused on protecting Neko—which honestly makes the anime so wholesome and entertaining. We also got introduced to two new characters this episode: Neko’s mom and Kanshi. Looks like next week we’ll dive deeper into Kanshi's background, and I’m really looking forward to that! Also, the opening was super fun! I loved the fresh idea of Neko casting magic on the OP itself—it gave me major *Gintama* vibes. As for Neko’s "split magic" trick, it was absolutely adorable—I *loved* it. It actually reminded me of Tribbie from *Honkai: Star Rail*. And this one frame I screenshotted had me laughing so hard. Neko is seriously hopeless—her love for Mohihito is beyond anything I expected 😂  |

It's strange how granting the ability to fly to multiple people had no after-effects, while making things lighter did. Weird magic in this universe... A new character and he's also familiar? Funny episode again. |

| The raw opening + Nico trying to fix it with magic was so interestingly funny haha The fashion magic actually makes sense, but what if the same picture has the backside too? can it replicate it then? Nico with the split-smol-clone magic didn't really help at all, the only thing it did was create more annoyance, still funny tho haha And the Dog, the moment it pulled out a wind fan I just knew it was a Tengu.. is that how a modern Divine Dog looks like!? I was just laughing the whole time lol Witches + Yokai, unhinged comedy and other work references, Im actually even hooked now! |
| Nico hijacking the incomplete OP is just so this show lols, but it's quite the passion project for such a show as this. Nico's mother Ibuki foretelling the disaster...of dogs and raindrops, while her daughter is just swooning her love to the muted boy that he continues to deny her. And using magic to hide the imitation of a clothing that only is wearable halfway because it's see-through, if Moi likes the clothes she wears, sure...just not that lols. But to see Grandma's hand-me-downs being so intriguing to Moi, old European vintage clothes sure is his thing...yeah. At long last, Nico's items arrive to Moi's house (though much of it is classic manga like KochiKame and Golgo 13), though alongside with Ibuki's message for him, while she's out having her sabbatical in rural Japan. But Nico having the cheek to use magic and clone herself in two (while even her intelligence is cut in half), more clones just does not serve any purpose moving boxes into the house, but what the hey lols that Moi still has to do things himself. And turns out...the prophecy from an unleashed dog pouncing on her came true, though Moi did his part to protect her as and when the disaster will fade. But if the unleashed dog wasn't the disaster, the rain forcing Nico to come out and get red beans to replenish her magic and Moi asking her to come under his umbrella for extra protection, it rings true that someone has been stalking the two, which Moi is more than capable to face against...and to see that it's crow tengu familiar Kanshi Kazamatsuri, he's all the more a protector role, just like Moi. Will Kanshi be a detriment against Moi, time will tell. |

| They started the show by breaking the 4th wall through the Opening scene, and it was so good! Nico is genuinely funny. Like, she knows how to make good jokes. Did Moi just mention "Jounouchi" in the post credit scene? lol |

| The OP got me for a second there, couldn't figure out why there was text in the upper left and right of the screen. Then I realized we were seeing storyboards, in-betweens, etc. Very clever to make it seem like Nico's magic backfired and messed up the opening. This show is super comfy and loaded with charm. Makes the start of the week a lot easier. |

| Last episode currently available on Netflix 🫡 and now we got Nico's mom working in ciphers. Have to wonder what the mom's up to if the daughter is freely doing magic things. The OP has become a vibe for sure. If only I had a pajama girl friend in the morning like that 🙏 of course the answer to all problems is magic. This show's love of Hunter Hunter is so adorable. Let them date already. Clothing scene is peak. And the Doublit Loli Brigade is also cute. |

| I see mixed opinions on the special opening but I thought it was a nice add. Definitely fits the theme of Nico's "failed" magic being amusing to watch. |
| That was an interesting gag with the OP, but I think it would have been better to have tied it into the ep itself. I can't remember every chapter of the manga off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's one with a related gag. |
