| Ending few minutes had a weirdly different tone that didn't sit right with me. On the other hand... SHINOA LIKES YUU?!? YES! MY HEART SOARS! It was nice to see her and everyone's reactions to seeing Yuu awake again. The Mika/Yuu both wanting to "save" each other thing is going to be good. Also, who is Ferid conspiring with? Wouldn't be too surprised if it was Gurren, he seems sketchy. Talk about a cliffhanger ending though, damn. Time to move on to Season 2! Overall, liked season 1, nothing was especially amazing but it was definitely entertaining and I like the cast. Visuals are pretty good, some OST songs are very solid. Story is intriguing. 7.5/10 |

| Ah so they took the tropes of revealing one's surprise attack immediately before executing it and gloating instead of taking advantage of the opportunity to kill and made them intentional. Quite brilliant actually, assuming that the conspirator is Guren. I'm curious as to whether Krul is involved. She had been conducting research on the curse of the Seraph, so does the information contain findings from her research and if so, were they willingly supplied or were they stolen? Could Ferid's actions possibly be implicating Krul against the Progenitor Council. The cour started off quite rushed, but captivating. The few episodes after that were rather slow but interesting as we learned more about the characters and watch them develop and learn how to cooperate with one another. The rest of the episodes up until the fateful encounter in episode ten didn't particularly impress though. I thought Mika and Yuu's reunion was well executed. The political and ethical elements have been sporadically teased but not really developed. I hope we're provided with explanations in the second cour regarding a myriad of topics and in particular see said political elements be more fleshed out to rekindle the interest and grant time to plot progression. Some of the action scenes were great, while others lacked some very necessary animation. I understand not devoting time to irrelevant scenes, but it diminishes the atmosphere and immersion when the build up to what is about to be a showdown is ultimately skipped. Shinoa is great, but I've yet to feel attachment to the rest of the cast with the exception of Mika. First Cour Rating: 6/10 |

I liked that season, excluding episodes from 2 to... 5? Something like this. I don't like paring Yuu x Shinoa (die!). I want more in 2nd season!  That scene xD Vampires are really entertaiment xD |

| Damn they didn't show how the Hiragi family fought with the vampires. They must be pretty strong. I'm sure that vampire noble's accomplice is a higher up in the human army. Question is who and why. Well as for this season, everything's really cliche considering it's shonen and all but I must say I was entertained at least especially because the main premise of this show is the war between humans and vampires and I really like wars. Anyway time to watch the second season. 7 |

| This is my first anime where there are vampires, I never liked them. But I did an exception, because a friend told me to try watch this. I really like anime with action, and this have action moments... I expected a super final fight between Yu and vampires... but... I was disappointed. Anyway 8/10. I will watch second season. |
| With this episode ends the first season!!! Yuu was fallen in coma, after 7 days get up, and all happies because all are alives!!!!! nothing special in this last episode, except the bad vampire works with a humans kekeke In summary, this season was very comun, except a 3 or 4 sequences and the episode 11, the rest was very mundane!!!! I wait the second season will be better.... ...6/10. |
| It's funny, I didn't even notice that the conclusion of the battle was skipped over. I guess I'm used to it by now. Besides, the bulk of the story was unpacked in the previous episode. This was just the aftermath and the setup for the continuation. Shinoa almost showed some depth there. I mean, I like her as a static character just fine, as I find her very amusing, but it would still be exciting if she got her own character arc. I wanted her to be angry at Guren for being dishonest and for tricking her. There is also a small bit of intrigue in her motivations: she said she has no interest in military power struggles, so what is it that does interest her? You know, besides "Yuu-san". Ignoring the ship tease, the scene in the hospital room with the whole gang was actually kind of sweet. I can't say I'm attached to theses characters, but the scene was still cute and well done. As it is right now, the only character who's actually interesting in their own right is Mika: there's a ton of potential in exploring his dual nature and motivations. Yuu can also become interesting, if he's ever forced to face his creepy experimental origins. Even Shinoa can be made interesting, if there's ever a conflict between her and her family. The rest of the kids and the adult Moon Demon whatever squad are probably not heading in any interesting directions, and maybe that's okay, as this isn't some HBO drama or something. But I'd love to be wrong. The vampires unfortunately remained boring the entire time. |
| get this forced het ship outta here I wonder with whom Sakurai Takahiro's character is conspiring. Anyway I feel like some scenes could have been executed better but the whole premise was interesting and the main characters were intriguing. Overall it was very enjoyable imo 8/10, onto the next season |
| Lol, they actually have curse detox chambers. The hell was that random music when Yuu was talking about him being surrounded by friends, that came out of nowhere. Interesting ending, did that basically say that the humans have a traitor (a character that we might know already) going around their base? It was kind of hard to get attached to the characters, at least for me, the story was also very generic. Overall the show was alright I suppose, judging from the top reviews I expected something really bad, despite it not being unique and the characters not making a big impact ... I did enjoy it. I'm really interested to know more about the human projects, why or how the lab that Yuu was in detroyed Japan etc. 8/10 (mostly because I'm interested into finding out more about the world) |

| Did take a several months break around the halfway point when I got a little burned out on anime and this didn't manage to hold my attention enough, so the first half isn't too fresh in my memory. What I did like was the art, character designs, and the animation was pretty good throughout most of it. Everything else ranged somewhere between bad and mediocre. The story was a huge mess, and after the first 12 episodes, I still feel like I know nothing about the world they live in. Everything feels like it's just a bunch of random ideas that might have sounded cool to the writer and mashed them together (vampires + demons + monsters + enchanted weapons + overpowered teenager kids + post-apocalyptic setting = cool), but it's just too much, and none of it gets fleshed out, like at all. None of the characters act like humans, and way too much nonsensical stuff happens in about every single episode. This is one of those anime that is only really tolerable if you're able to completely shut off your brain and simply accept what's shown to you on the screen. The main character is an overpowered edgelord who becomes one of the strongest fighters on the humans' side after barely finishing his training. They can just walk into a vampire camp and come out unscathed, even when the vampires had a surprise attack prepared for them (like, really?) Yu is more concerned about his friend standing before him, and everyone is else, in turn, is more concerned about Yu being concerned about his friend when their general was stabbed in the chest and bleeding like crazy on the battlefield - everyone just ignores him, like, literally LOL? Nothing that happens really matters, and at the end of the 12 episodes, it feels like there's not been made any progress. Neither of the 2 sides managed to score an important kill or capture an objective, so what point was there in that whole war? Won't bother with the sequel. 5/10, because it had some potential. |
| I'm starting to not like Guren. He seems really stubborn and thinks of Yuu more as a weapon than an actual person. Naked Mika though; hnnnnnnnggggg. That awkward moment between Shinoa and Yuu gave me a good lol. That said, nothing is getting me off the Mika x Yuu ship! That jazz OST was pretty nice though it went on a bit too long for my liking. I wonder who that was who Ferid gave that research to. Really makes me think. Quite anticlimactic after the awesome last episode. This episode jumped all over the place which made it a bit confusing at first. 6/10 episode; 7.5/10 for this season. |

| The first half of this show, maybe like 7 or 8 episodes I didn't enjoy. But the rest after that wasn't that bad (but not that good either). This anime was kinda predictable and cringe at a lot of parts, I had to force myself to continue to watch it and not to drop it, in case it got better. However, there were parts that made me want to keep watching it(especially that cliffhanger). I might pick up season 2 I'm not sure yet. (btw I'm not hating just stating my opinion). |
| Eh, it's a fine "your-typical-battle-shonen" show and I enjoyed it. Why would people even bother watched this up to ep 12 if they didn't even like it? Dude, don't waste your time. 7/10. |

| I really liked this anime. Never felt stagnant, good characters, awesome moments, and good fights. Main character was annoying at times but his epic moments more than makes up for that. |
| Episode 11 was better. Last episode was fine - it was interesting to see the secret experimentation place and his friends reacting to Yuichiro waking up was cute. Though I was disinterested by the Shinoa / Yuichiro love line (I guess they'll be the canon pairing? Eh) and frustrated she didn't tell Yuichiro about his Seraph form. Overall, I did really like the show. Animation was great, fights too, Yuichiro is a cute brat (reminds me of Boruto), Mika is cool, vampires, mysterious stuff (I guess I'll find out in season 2). |
| I loved it. Binged it. I don’t care I love it!!!!! Nice season finale. I liked Yuu’s development. The hospital scenes were great & really showed how he has become more levelheaded now & less impulsive. Hope he remains this way. He’s accepted the people around him tho I wished he hadn’t forgotten about his transformation. I guess they’re leaving it for the next season. Shinoa best girl, I like her with Yuu!! Art was beautiful, LOVED the voice work, cinematography was great as well. Nothing was awkward & the pretty art really complemented the frames. Loved all the character designs, everyone is so hot. The action overall was pretty lacking & anti-climatic at parts tho. They could have done more with the world-building but I think with 12 episodes it was good enough. I’m anime-only, but I can already tell the manga’s probably way better. I wonder who is that at the end with Ferid. Probably Guren or someone from the Hiragi family |

| For the end of a split-cour, this episode just felt so anti-climatic that it doesn't really leave me really longing for the next cour. Even the cliffhanger, if you could really call it one, was so meh. |

| This episodes cleared up my thoughts and confusion, but I hate how Mika keeps saying that while probably knowing that not everyone is the same. Seraph of the End sounds so good but it definitely isn't a good thing. While I don't like Guren AS MUCH as I did at first, he is right, they can't survive like this. I'm guessing Shinoa's sister found the demon weapons, then she found the same thing that happened to Yuu, lost control and was killed. Nice to see Shinoa getting bits of her backstory. I am kind of looking forward to season 2 after this. |

| This anime is fine, or at least this season is. The artstyle is incredible, it approached vampire/human conflict from a more militaristic viewpoint than I expected, and most of the characters were likeable and interesting. Unfortunately, it also has a habit of employing cheap timeskips so it doesn't have to bother animating complicated scenes, introduced superficial and poorly developed yaoibait characters (you know who), and an excessive hesitancy to kill off any named character. Most of these issues were exacerbated by the penultimate episode, which had to highlight all of them in such excruciating detail that I found it a legitimately painful episode to watch. |
