| There is a great need to redo this show in order to refine it and give it worth. Right now it is utter junk and i wish it would have been revised before it got release, yet it's still not too late to go back to the drawing board and fix these atrocious errors cluttered within the series. |

| I probably won't bother with season 2 if they make one, because the whole twilight thing quickly made me feel like I was watching another generic shounen anime but with guns, all they needed to do is just shout the names of there attacks for the picture to be completed. The anime tries to hard to establish its own lore to actually tell a story and most episodes feels like filler. Nicolas was a cool character and his way of communication made him somewhat original and memorable, Worick was meh, because they tried way to hard to make him cool and Alex was nothing more than a living prop and eye candy, as for the rest of the cast, I hardly even remember them (well Ginger was cute, but had like 5 minutes of screen time in total). For me the whole series is a 5/10 and I will probably quickly forget about it. |

| What pisses me off is that they could've just ended the show at episode 9 and everything would've been fine. I see the recap episode, and I think "Oh great, the last arc is going to fit in these 3 episodes, they know what they're doing!" and then they pull this shit on me. I was going back to look for the next episode, sure it couldn't end this way... Seriously... WTF!? It makes me angry that whoever was in charge of this project was incompetent enough to pull this shit. It's not even a cliffhanger ending, it's a "There was 5 minutes more of ending, but we just cut it off right here because our time is up" ending. Fuck. Ah yes, saying all that felt good. |
| In truth I'd rather have this kind of ending than an anime original that would likely probably fall even more flat. While they did go bankrupt, at least going this route doesn't totally rule out a second season some time from now, although it's still a low chance. I actually enjoyed the show, the ending was a little undesirable but nothing I can't get over. Still has a ton of potential to be a really good series if picked up for another season |

| What and "end" ... or not. This anime started off promising... with an excellent story of Worick's and Nic's past as children which they should have focused on throughout the series bringing the past conclusion in line with the current conclusion. Instead, the 2nd half was a disaster. I can't really put it any other way. I guess I'll leave it with 4/10 (below average) since I actually finished it. |

| I loved this anime...until episode 12. I loved the characters and the setting/atmosphere of the anime, but in it's final episodes, just fell apart. Too bad because it was that good "hard boiled" anime I really liked and for so long was absent from the anime genre. The last episode didn't solve anything, and left so much open and unsolved. It's the main reason I have this an "Enjoyment" rating of 6. Well, Manglobe is now bankrupt, and I doubt we will see more of this anime. |

| #rip I already knew this would end on a cliffhanger that is otherwise just another episode of Gangsta, so I didn't get the "opportunity" to be disappointed by that like everyone else. It was a good episode nonetheless, but it's... just another episode of Gangsta. I have no clue what happened to this show. The first half was pretty damn good, but slowly it just kind of... fell apart, and I don't even know how. The ingredients were there for a delicious dish, but they didn't blend together or something. I dunno. The ending is merely a culmination of Gangsta's derailing and hardly the most glaring of its issues. Disregarding the cliffhanger ending, I get the feeling this story is much better in manga format. I'll probably read it at some point. |

| Well, I figured out why the quality dropped. Apparently the animation studio that was animating Gangsta, Manglobe, went bankrupt. They did some pretty notable anime but it looks like they're shutting down. Does anybody know if this means that a season 2 is out of the question? Is it not possible for another studio to pick it up or is that unlikely to happen even if it is possible? |

| Wow. Well, with the low chances of a second season, this was quite a waste of time. Even ignoring the awful ending, this series had other problems, such as pacing issues and too many characters, most of which developed in the second half. 6/10 |

| Agreeing with most people. It started off good, kinda dragged it's feet towards the middle, finally got better towards the end and then just... faltered out. It's really depressing that they couldn't get a second season, considering the studio went bankrupt. Guess I'll have to pick up the manga now. |

| I was giving it a 9 near the beginning of the series, then it got sort of "muddied" from the middle onward. Not much got resolved so it ended up just being an outsider's view of a few months of life in the city. I watched folks make friendships, fall in love, take drugs, pass money around, and die. It had lots of nice fight scenes and some blood splattering the wall scenes. In the end, I rate it an 8 with nice atmosphere art and death being handed out to everyone from 6 to 60 years old. No tears shed and very little "feels" for anyone at the last episode. I can't really call it an end since it had no resolving. |

| This show doesn't have that great of a story but what was worse was that it was really badly directed. Because of the directing it felt more stupid and boring. It reminded me a little of Deadman Wonderland that also looked like it could be cool but when watched it was just disappointing. I don not know were this was going but if we compare it with something like Black Lagoon that seems to be of a similar style and setting then this show is shit in frond of it. |

| strange cliffhanger, decent show although Alex got way too much focus on her backstory considering she was just completely lacking in personality and probably would have been a better show without her. 7/10 |
