Huge music and anime fan.
I'm a hip hop head that also enjoys jazz, funk, soul, rock, pop, folk, and damn near anything that touches my soul.
Huge fan of movies and a lover of thrillers, mindbenders, and anything that can get me to smile. Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, 12 Angry Men, and Toy Story are some of my favorite movies.
I really enjoy the more dark and psychological anime more or less in the wheelhouse of sci-fi. Comedy, action, and satire genres more then welcome and anything that makes me laugh hard or keep my eyes glued to the screen is fair game. Enjoy a good romance/josei/slice of life as long as it is captivating and has good characters. I like the more unique type of animation that pushes the limits of normal. Not a fan of lolis, or bullshit cliches that drag the whole show down.
First anime encounter was Sonic X and Kirby that I used to watch as a kid on 4kidsTv/FoxBox. Didn't really get into anime hard until end of 2013 when my brother got me started watching on Akira and then moving me on to Studio Ghibli films. My first two series were Attack on Titan and Cowboy Bebop. Around 2015 I started catching anime daily and now a year later here I am a social hermit. Thank you so much Josh, for turning me into an anime addict.

I see, the reason I asked is because you're one of the few I've seen on here (though I don't often look around) that's mentioned their favorite music in their profile, let alone hip-hop, and I had a feeling we'd have something in common in that area
Now that you mention your favorite rapper, I find that to be a hard question for myself to answer at this moment
I guess it'd be Ride
but not too long ago it'd probably have been STEEZ or Issa Gold
LUM is a top contender as well
man, you have so much listed on there, I'm far behind on completely updating my rym and don't even really know how to work my way around there yet
I'm also the type to listen around to a lot of random songs on random occasions of different artists to get a feel of them or when discovering new music and don't know if there's really any way to catalog anything like that
I have all these same or similar problems when listing video games lol, though I find video games harder to rate on a scale (especially a 10-scale)
I'm also interested in your favorite films, from what I've seen they seem to be a breath of fresh air
Anyways, if you happen to have any recommendations based on my favorites let me know, I'm always interested in expanding my musical horizons c:
Good to meet you my man.
And yep, obscure short films are nice if you want to watch something unusual for a change. Not always good, but still interesting.
I dropped the show after 10 minutes of watching it. As expected, my idea of what maturely handled storytelling is compared with yours (and most people on this site) are vastly different. This was just emotionally flat and tonally neutered.
