| Garou is the first character in this anime whose design I didn't like. It was just too ugly. (I don't mean his face.) I love how Saitama just doesn't care. He always speaks with "wait, I was supposed to care about that?" type of voice. This episode really reminded me of Mob Psycho 100. Sonic is back to lose a fight against Saitama. I really like him. I feel bad for the psychic girl's pride as Saitama—who is supposed to be ranked lower than her—is stronger than people way stronger than her. Lmao By the way, when did Saitama's rank get raised? I can't remember properly. |

Studied cinematography to understand that what Madhouse did on season 1 was just ultimately better, no arguing with that. Actions are well presented and we as a viewer can get a clear point of view where are we watching from, we have the sense of space, like we are following the motion of the fight and know the directions of each character's attacks. Go rewatch Saitama VS Boros, you can see that Saitama is almost always on the left side of the screen while Boros is almost always attacking from the right side of the screen. And it's quite consistent throughout the entire fight, it subconsciously makes us, the audience, feels more comfortable to watch and follow the fight. JC's workaround is to do quick cuts to emphasize impact during attacks. This could work but can disturb continuity and reduces impact if you don't get direction and the the timing right. Characters can suddenly switch position in tandem with quick cuts can make us question who is punching who. Amai Mask's fight is the perfect example of how this can be bad. While Genos vs Sonic's fight is the perfect example of how this can be good. |

| Well, i thought this was a pretty enjoyable episode. Hope that Fubuki can join the gang and forget about all of the ranking nonsense and just, be a hero for fun like our man Saitama! That scene with King was pretty funny haha. Garo seems to be a tough cookie! I wonder what his role will be in the story, can't wait to see more of him! Waiting for the next episode! |

| Although I enjoyed this episode I can see that the studio is cutting corners with the animation by installing still frames to hide most of the faces and not even animating lip flaps, just so that they can release the episodes on time. |

I'm very much aware what the industry standard seems to be these days. What I was talking about is the desired outcome. You'll never need more than 1 Chief AD. In terms of ADs 1 should also be the goal, 2 at most and even then, that's stretching it. |

| One Punch Man S2 as a standalone is "alright". One Punch Man as a sequel is absolute and utter disgusting shit and a horrible joke to ONE. One Punch Man Season 2 is not a standalone show tho, it's the contination of Season 1, so saying that means, it's shit. J.C Staff can go and fuck themself. |

| The OP is really catchy and vibrant, of course, far from the awesomeness of OP 1, but it's still good, kinda reminds me of the 90s anime OPs. Although, I don't dig the ED. If they're trying to create a soothing and peaceful ED like in S1, then they did it wrong. I'm really forgiving towards downgraded quality and underwhelming or disappointing adaptation. But what in the actual fuck?! This ep did not only mess with the animation quality and visual quality in general, but even the pacing (jumps scenes abruptly), sound effects (explosions sounds that drowns the punching sound and BGM itself) and the shortcuts they took such as not animating Genos' smirk when he was supposed to be insulting Fubuki and not properly animating characters' body pose properly. (Damn I was looking forward to Fubuki's poses) And finally, the censorship when Blue Flame's arm was severed by Garo. Seriously, I'm not trying to hate on S2, it's still fun to watch but goddamn the quality just got smacked down to the floor so far. Is JC Staff even giving proper dedication to adapt S2? They are a good studio! Hopefully, the next ep or any beyond this ep will have a higher quality. Even if only a bit. I'm not hoping to see S1's quality, but the quality has got to increase nevertheless. |

| this kinda proves that OPM was really just a big hit because of the animation it had. people dropping this due to the downgrade in animation proves it the animation was indeed a big downgrade compared to S1, but calling it bad is ridiculous. the adaptation is spot on other than Garou's backstory which can easily be integrated(its better w/ this) in the future. |

More or less I thought he will be someone like Mister Satan from Dragon Ball. While I like Mister Satan, I didn't want to see his OPM's version. I'm glad that King happened to be different and is so much positive as a character. :) |

| I just..... cant feel this episode because everything has fast pace. Animation is mostly slides, music is terrible and why Saitama voice doesn't change? 2/5 Art was okay and Garou's voice is good (the best thing in this episode). |

| Well the animation didn't amaze me. I just cant help but keep comparing to season 1 and I just don't feel anything really. Its nice to finally see more of Fubuki but it just looks odd. Particularly Saitama's head looks weird and when he had the cartoonish face one eye was higher than the other which also looked odd. It was an ok episode I hope they learn more as the series goes on and improve the animation. If I was them I'd pour a lot into this since its so popular. |

This picture and geno's arms pretty much show what's wrong with the anime Saying ''this looks bad'' isn't enough, you need to explain why it looks bad. First of all, you could say it even looks better! if looking through a artist's perspective.. Why? well this anime instead of like the previous season that colored shots then put shadows over it with few exceptions sometimes like saitama's gloves, genos arms, etc does the extra ''Ufotable'' shading trying to make the characters and outfit more charming looking by adding darker colors over them and using blending, example is skins have a red tone now around some parts to be more ''realistic. Is this good? For Ufotable yes, for this anime no, this studio doesn't know how to do that, they are trying to be Ufotable but they fail badly with their shading and you get the monstruosity that is Geno's arms, ugly to look at, and not only that but it's what is eating the budget. A good director like previous one would see good ways to animate with a low budget and perfectly think of how every scene is gonna work to the best impact, that's Mad House and the previous director, here you got a guy that said: Let's do a big animated shot of fubuki's breasts bouncing that eats way too much screentime and budget because that's what matters in anime not clever cool fight scenes and then we get this and the battle scene is often just screencuts to not show proper animation, there is some good animated shots but barely few and you feel sometimes like you're watching a kid's made fight scene where it skips the action to the result. But of course you can say i'm wrong, because you can tell me the director is so shitty they got nothing better to do with the budget other than fanservice and ufotable shading. |
