| I didn't expect that, I thought the girl would be Miyata's sister just like everyone did! I loved how they elaborated more on Myshima's background, absorbing my huge hate towards him. I won't say I like him now but I hate him less, maybe feel sorry for him. Thank you Takamura and team for adding laughs on heavy episodes XD |

| The twist was well placed, nice to see more motivation behind Ryo's actions. He's the Kevin Owens of this show. Not really a nice guy, but cynical because he has to be in order to provide for him and his sister. |

| They are a bit late with the tragic backstory. After this guy has been made out to be the freaking devil incarnate, I really can't empathise with him. Go, Ippo! I liked the teasing of the others in this episode. I think this might be going a bit too far if this was real life, even as a joke between friends, but it's hilarious nonetheless! Will Ippo ever learn to stop giving them reasons to tease him? Probably not. But that's why we love him! :P I am hyped for the fight! And also interested to see whether the imouto love story will still be a thing after the results of the match. |

| I'll have to say that the last thing I'd expect was for a cutie like her to actually be Mashiba's little sister. It'll definitely bring up an inner conflict on whether he should destroy the man who unfairly crushed his best friend's dreams or not but at least she's become the one thing that'll stand between Ippo and him being a monster. Being desperate enough to want to win in order to support your little sister to the point of most likely cheating to get there is still scummy even if you do have an admittedly sad background. Miyata has aspirations and a cause to live for too, you know. While his cheating can't be justified, other people's treatment towards him at work aren't justified either. |

| Takamura is the worst, that's why I enjoy him so much hahaha This episode had one hell of a curveball, tho and I love how this series introduces it's characters and their backrounds. Also how it develops them slowly. |

| I though she was Miyata's sister. That was a plot twist I didn't see coming at all. Though writing wise, I see why they did it. Makes things spicier and more interesting. Takamura is so trifling, but I love him! 😂 He had the phone in his hand while promising not to tell the others. That is so diabolical! 😂 😭 And not him turning it around on Ipo, when Ipo called him out! 😂 I can see why Kimi ni Todoke and Black Clover have characters similar to Takamura. My favorite type of Sensei. |
