| Aww it's so cute, Holo can't help but be jealous. Seriously did anyone else go "WHAT?" when that guild guy called Lawrence "son"??? Only for us to later on find out he calls all those who come to him "son" if he's known them long enough. I'm a little worried for the Shepherdess, is it just me or was that priest looking at her funny and by funny I don't mean in a good way, but in a creepy way. |

| Holo getting jealous was just priceless. Still having Nora as extra protection was a good move and it was nice having a new character join them as well. Being a shepherd though must be lonely. Lawrence sure had one hell of a trump card though. This town though sure is viewing independent traders like Lawrence with some amount of hostility. Looks like trouble is approaching though. |

| Holo can be entertaining in many ways, but I think jealousy would rank high on that list for me. Seeing her act like that towards Lawrence due to him talking to Nora a lot was cute and funny. =) The fact that she works for the church should mean that she has a stable job to rely on, although the advice given to her from Lawrence was nice. Having said that, after arriving in Ruvinheigen, the priest did give her an odd look. Overall, it felt more like a transitional episode, but it was still a good one at that. |

| I always try to avoid this anime every week, thinking it's going to bore me, but once I start watching, it draws me in. It's a great immersive experience, and when the credits roll, I'm like: What, it's over already? D: I love it, but for some reason, I find it hard to get motivated to watch the weekly episode. |

| good as always, but I think that talk with guy in trading house was stupid.. ok, first part looked like password talk, but then for a moment they talk like they know each other then next sentence shows they likely don't know each other.. also some parts of city walls were strange shape like "U" on bottom of town (the birdview shot) it makes little sense as it would be easier and cheaper to build it straight also having more room inside walls for more buildings.. |

| The new girl is super cute! And seems very innocent and kind. Even Holo could agree to that as she immediately seemed jealous. Hope we see more of her. Something seems up with armor. Hope my boy Lawrence doesn't get screwed over. |

I hate myself I accidentally clicked hated it instead of loved it 😢. They have been doing Vol 2 so much more justice so far compared to the og. Book 2 is very thick so they of course have to cut out areas. Kinda like how book 1 was 80% of Lawrence in thought and you can notice that in the first 6 ep. This however cuts areas of dialogue that I do agree is unnecessary a lot shorter to make room for the other bits that build the better over arching story as well as let them explore Norah as a character SIGNIFICANTLY more than the original which was my only complaint about the old anime. A key example of this is the ending of ep 2 as they will cut out a LOT of the dialogue between Lawrence and the man in the merchants guild showing it through having a quick clip of them talking but no actually audio coming from them rather another character which was not in the books I will add (not a bad scene tho and very welcome addition). Knowing ep 3 they will probably skip to the important part of that conversation thus by skipping over this unnecessary bit (which I still would have like to seen) it saves them MANY minutes as it takes place for about 7-10 pages of just random dialogue and Lawrence’s observations on reading the room. Overall a smart play to save precious run time for the anime. This is looking awesome so far as vol 2 is significantly better than the first volume imo and same with every volume afterwards (minus 5 I think 5 was aight)… god I’m a nerd over spice and wolf

| Transition episode, but still enjoyable and relaxing, with the next one, troubles begin. The new design of the shepherdess is very cute, I like it. |

| Holo is the most cute girl. I love her so much. She was indeed jealous and yes, the shepherd was also very cute. The little doggo was cute as well and he gave Holo a side eye. Cute. The priest looking at the cute shepherd was kinda creepy. |

| Holo is stunning and already keeps the wolves at bay. So I can see her perspective of being against hiring Nora. Even if she wasn't working as wolves sworn enemy! |

| Nora Arendt's appearance in the remake has been forthcoming, and for the shepherd whom Lawrence requires blessing on his way, she would turn out to be his next biggest asset besides the obvious Holo. But for now, she's just a wandering shepherd with her trusty sheepdog Enek, who wants Lawrence to hire her on the way to Ruvinheigen if there're wolves targeting them, much less unaccounted danger...and the hijinks of a man and woman together. Still, working at an orphanage and becoming a shepherd for 4 years, Nora has always wanted to have a proper job, though Holo getting indirectly insulted at Lawrence and his advances on her is quite the comedy aroused from jealousy. With both Lawrence and Holo parting ways with Nora midway, they reach Ruvinheigen, which is in dire need of armour, and imported ones from Poroson are all the craze. That said, the city is quite lively, though danger still lives wherever they go. A merchant association that Lawrence is part of, it's home away from home. But an informant coming with words for Lawrence, what does it entail? What drama will Ruvinheigen have for Lawrence? |

| The part where Nora was escorting Lawrence and Holo, I agree that that was a very ironic thing that happened, with Holo of course being a wise wolf and all. I especially got a kick out of the part where Lawerence said "wolves are troublesome, aren't they" and Holo pinches him for it (as you can imagine) But despite that, he doubles down and says "and they're sly and devious too". LOL And also where Nora, right after that, said "I don't like to talk bad about them since they might be listening". OMG I nearly fell on the floor laughing when I saw that! |
