Lots of cool shots in the episode but this was by far one of my favorite I really like how David Production has been handling the adaptation. They adapted 5 chapters in this episode but it all flowed so well. |
| Koichi just went full SSJ mode this time. His Stand was awesome. That Kobayashi guy was so hilarious despite being a jerk. His lock Stand was actually really creative. JoJo still being AOTS. I just cannot have enough with only one week :( |

| The pacing was a bit too fast, but it was a far better decision to squeeze this fight into one episode that horrendously spread out over two. The animation was on point, and the voice actors were at the top of their game. The voicework really made Tamami seem like a scumbag, and Koichi's voice actor was FAR more impressive as pissed off Koichi than whiny pathetic Koichi. I didn't think Romi Park could be topped, but it just may be possible. Kudos to David for doing one of the more forgettable fights in Part 4 justice. |

| I was pretty sure that Koichi will remain useless fight-wise for the entire series but no... surprisingly he can now activate SSJ and has quite good stand. It's hard to judge how strong that stand is though as it is extremely funky. At the same time though, this is the first time I saw anything similar to this so props for originality. |

The only stakes in the fight come when Tamami tries to get Koichi's mom to kill herself, which happens at the end of the fight. Otherwise, he's just trying to extort money from Koichi, which is hardly a "OH GOD I WONDER HOW THIS WILL TURN OUT" kind of deal. |
| I remembered why Araki writing gets better in further parts. That knife scene with the mom was cringey, as in it jumped from tense to stupid too fast. But you heard that Koichi OST? Amazing!!! DP did visuals in an interesting way this episode, and overall we get an introduction to Koichi's power, one of the coolest of the entire part. |

| Man, that Kobayashi was so annoying, he really got my blood boiling. He's the type of character that I can't wait to see his ass kicked. And what the hell, Koichi's mom? Believing some creepy stranger over your own son? This really stretched my suspension of disbelief to its limits. Thank god Koichi was a total badass this episode. The moments when he summoned his stand and when he told his mother to believe in him were EPIC. The music was really good too. The clever taunt at the end was just the cherry on top - just what that guy deserves. |

| Colour transition and style overload in this episode. They had a lot of fun with the background art in this episode, from the graffiti in the street to the Johnny's receipt scene. It's so good to see Echoes animated, his was always one of the most interesting powers of this part. Anime only viewers should keep an eye on Koichi and his development as a character ;-). As a sidenote I never was crazy about Romi Park's performance as Koichi in the games, but it'll be hard to believe that anyone could like her more than Yuki Kaji if he keeps up these performances. He suits Super Saiyan Koichi perfectly. |

| This episode is the first time I've ever given a single shit about Koichi. The VA is really bringing the character to life, and his stand power, like many others to come, really thrive when being fully animated as opposed to the sometimes convoluted manga panels with initially difficult to fully comprehend abilities like Echoes has. |

| Wow Just wow I went into this episode disliking koichi. Like how I disliked iggy but pet shop changed my opinion of him. To me this was a rite of passage of why koichi is going to be a great character. Him winning with how he did gave me chills |

| This was a mediocre episode. So far the season has been meh for me. Hope it really picks up and lives to the acclaim it is known for. Found both stands to be pretty lame ..but I'm sure reverb will prove itself to be more useful over time . |

| Nice, finally the tie for Koichi to shine, something I've been waiting for. I like how his stand can be deadly too, considering the abilities which don't seem to kill. I can't imagine if Koichi went DORARARARA too, the sounds it produced would be unberarable |

| Great episode. Koichi was so bad ass. Finally get to see his Stand "Echoes". Very interesting ability. Attacking Tamami with Sound Effects. Really hated that bastard Tamami. His Stand "The Lock" seems really annoying to go up against. Koichi is hilarious when he over-reacts to things. Looks like Tamami is Koichi's personal assistant/slave now. LOL. |

| The part with the mom was quite frustrating - how a shady-looking stranger could induce a mom to doubt her own son to such extent, but I'll just pretend that The Lock stand multiplies guilt to insane levels. Echoes seems like a pretty unique Stand. At first I thought it was a typically "deal damage" kind of Stand but using it as a kind of brainwash Stand is pretty out-of-the-box! |
