| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm absolutely BOPPING Yuuma Uchida's OP, and a good thing that he's also voicing MC Ramune. The whole deal with curing a "mysterious disease" that only Doctor Ramune can do, and with assistant Kuro, it's like MonSume Oisha-san mixed with Muhyo & Roji levels of creepiness, dealing with supernatural stuff. Ramune reminds me so much of Hanako-kun in terms of personality, and he gets his job done as a medicinal doctor capable to drive off manifesting levels of "demonic" disease...no matter how crude he may be. A child actor with condiment tears, and a mother so affixed on riches from her daughter. That sure doesn't work well... Platinum Vision's visuals are stiffer this time, presumably aging back to Devil's Line quality. A fine start, could see this as an episodic series. |

| Those strange diseases got Itou Junji: Collection + Muhyo to Rouji vibe somehow. The chikuwa in the next episode looks very interesting. |

| What a whore this woman was, she was leeching off such a cute little child. Thou Ramune sensei's psychological attack did the job and she realised her wrongdoings. Now they are back to being a happy family. Off to a good start, I really like Ramune sensei. He's got an amusing personality and his way of doing things is amazing. |

| I checked this one out on a whim but was very pleasantly surprised! I was concerned from the description that Ramune would be offputting but he was quite entertaining. I’m curious about why he and Kuro are together and from the ED it seems like they have a story. I’m interested to see where the rest of the show goes. | I was expecting something crappy like 'Muhyo to Rouji', but this was watchable, which is enough. Some times, some parts felt forced, but it wasn't too bad. The preview of the next episode was wild. haha |
 Well, that was interesting with a nice ending to the episode. Things looked simple, the issue got resolved fairly quick here and it reminded me of old school anime. Certainly seems like a show you can try watching with your family. Preview for episode 2.  erm... |

| I'd a feeling this'd be similar to Muhyo to Roji for a while now but I didn't expect it to be this similar, lol. I think I prefer this duo more than the other but let's see how things pan out before concluding with this. Definitely a decent premiere though. Mother totally lost herself in the money fest but Ramune's little panel there was quite something. Good thing the family is nearly back to square one now though, no better way to put that phase aside. Lol, that moment when they revealed she's the actress though. Definitely caught me by surprise too. Op & ED are pretty good as well. We've been getting good theme songs this season, always glad to have those. Good lord, that preview though. Chikuwa penis? I found this episode strange in itself but it could embark a whole new level next week xD. |

| WTF guys. First episode and 6.5 scoring? I was watching Horimya today and after one episode it has 8.5 score. Just wait for every episode... I know Horimya is a good (I'm reading manga ofc) but if manga is good it doesn't mean that adaptation will be. First episode was kinda nice. Plot is interesting so I can't wait for the next one. |

| Well, that was interesting. Basically kind of the same concept as puberty syndrome in bunny senpai. Ramune does indeed remind me of Hanako-kun. From that first episode, I assume this going to be an episodic series. Though they'll probably show how Kuro and Ramune met, Kuro probably had the disease too and Ramune saved him, looking forward to that. |

| Looks interesting, the concept was pretty logical and we also get to see a mix of comedy and drama, im expecting more from its supernatural elements. The art is pretty mid i think, but is bearable. I would like to see the backstory of Ramune and Kuro, how they met. So far so good. Lol next ep's preview was XD. |

| Decent. Sort of hoped they established the relationship between the two main characters before hopping straight into their work. (Hoping they establish how these two even know each other - a high school student and a loopy doctor - before continuing on with their adventures. Getting to know the characters makes you more invested, in the long run. Reminded me of Mob Psycho 100 - the two main characters even seemed a bit like Mob and Reigen, design wise and personality! Overall, solid premise. Hope they give us more information about the main characters and won't leave them as shounen cardboard cut-outs! :D |
| Hmm... a pretty bland episode imo. It did nothing to establish the characters beyond a basic archetype & the plot wasn't very interesting, in fact, the content of the whole ep felt quite dragged out. It reminds me a lot of Muhyo & Roji which also suffered these issues and never got better. But the concept is an interesting one, especially that after that after-credit scene about the fish cake penis so I'll give it 3 eps. |

| So it seems that Dr. Ramune is a spirit medium that can identify mysterious diseases that a regular doctor cannot see. In this episode we have a little girl that is crying condiments due to her mom forcing her to be a child actor. Ramune suggests that she drinks from this mysterious tea kettle that allows her to say what's on her mind. This episode was a little dark for a moment until Ramune step in and saved the girls life. I'm looking forward to seeing more bizarre cases that Dr. Ramune will solve. |
