| Any anime that ; -Is made before the 00s (old anime) -Has a super low member count (underwatched anime) will be underrated by default on MAL. Examples: Rose Of Versailles (it's still pretty highly rated though), Ie Naki Ko Remi, Takarajima, every single WMT anime. |
| My favorite anime only has a 7.53 average. I liked Chuu Bra and it only has 6.4. The lowest rated anime I actually enjoyed is Urawa no Usagi-Chan with a 5.46 average. |

| All of my favorites. But seriously though, I'd say Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. The show is a damn masterpiece but is kinda low and members. It should be at least top 150. |

| Limiting it to currently airing shows only: World Trigger (7.22 isn't too low, but I like it a lot more than that) Youkai Watch, Kyoukai no Rinne, Tribe Cool Crew, Okusama ga Seitokaichou! (They are all rated lower than 7 on MAL and 7 or higher by me. Considering MALs average is about 2 points higher than mine they're pretty underrated imo). |

| Define low Well anyway the only potentially good shows rated below 7 are either a) very old and unknown, b) highly controversial titles (like School Days or Yosuga no Sora), or c) troll anime (like Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu or Bikini Warriors) |

| Ginga E Kickoff!! I'd consider 7.43 low considering only 6,000 people have watched it and I imagine if more people watched the show it'd be at best a high 6. It's remarkably charming for being a show that's about kids for kids, and it was really hard not to smile at children's innocent ambitions and interactions with one another. There are also 3 characters that I think I wonderfully created in that they have the smuggest of smug attitudes, but at no point do their actions and words ever make it feel like they aren't 12 years old. |
