It was a handjob and it wasn't as great as people said it was.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

Worked at a movie theater when I was in high school. Loved it for the most part. Got to meet a ton of people and watch free movies all the time. Didn't really enjoy cleaning all the time though lol

Gas Station clerk, overnight shift. Extremely dead, got to eat the old bakery before throwing it out, saw some interesting people early in the morning and pretty much surfed the web for hours.

factory worker since thats the majority of jobs in our area, it was alright but very tiring even in an air conditioned place, 12 hours of work everyday for 6 days with night shift schedules every other 2 weeks as well as repetitive work all day long makes factory jobs so boring and tiring

Not a job that pays though. Mine is a work experience in an office and I was disappointed. You can read my blog if you want details but I basically did almost nothing aside from reading books and newspapers on my first week. I found the office's wifi eventually, ninja'ed their pc to see the password, brought my laptop and just surfed all day now.

I wish I had just submitted my documents and applied to the airport, I'm sure I could've done a lot there.

I'm co-author of a book. Didn't do jack squat though so I don't consider that my first job. Worked as a janitor for about a year, didn't do jack squat so I don't count that either. Worked a recording studio... But again... Didn't do jack squat.

Maybe next time...

I was supposed to be an IT assistant, but I ended up doing all the menial tasks that no one else in the office wanted to do. Blah, hated that place. Crappy pay, crappy atmosphere, horrible boss that refused to pay us on time, etc.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

Afforestation/reforestation

Terrible. Lots of bugs, snakes and random animals running around giving me a heart attack, long days and also physically heavy. Some areas were rather bearable, but others were like leftover from an air raid with rocky terrain and far away from any roads. Also the pay was shit.

Did a few halftime job before, but I wouldn't called it a job since there is no legal binding contract as it is temporary. First fulltime job applied as a data entry but ended up have to manage everything, technically it is supposed to be the job of administration end. Felt being cheated by my employers about the wages and responsibility, I left.

Christmas night shift work at the post office, you have any idea how busy it gets during Christmas. How man presents come through every night and they don't let you rest for more than a minute, you're always working. Great arm work out though pushing heavy trolleys for 8 hours a night I think I moved around 500 of them a night.

Coming home, walking through the city at 6am during December a strange mix of a tired high and extreme loneliness. Like you were living in a bubble reality of your own, all alone during the holidays and thats what I did, work through the night sleep through the day rinse and repeat right through Christmas, living alone in a city far from anyone I knew.

I worked at a shop as a salesman. It was utterly shitty - I had to work 10-12-ish hours a day and had no days off. It was only a summer job but I hated every waking moment there. Fuck my boss - btw, he had a 16 year old girlfriend and he was 50.

Oh god you too, having worked retail where they demanded all the shelves to be straightened up every night. I find myself actually taking things like unfolded towels in shops and folding them and placing them in their right place as im talking to someone without thinking.

well ive worked/helped my family when i was younger but my official first job was a construction worker for beach resorts and all i used to help some guy with doors and windows

which is hilarious because im squishy and weak and i can't stand working for many hours but that job was 11h per day (and 1h going to there/back which was more tiring than the job itself, because hills), there was also a lot of car traveling and i get car sick insanely fast (5 minutes and im dead, 10-15 min and im probably puking) Looking back at it, it was almost my nightmare job yet i took it because of family pressure and everything

i didnt last much there tho but since then ive gone to more fitting jobs for me and mostly unemployed because the pay in here is so low and depressing and no waifu so i rather be depressed and die instead
lots of music -

Imagine the testicles of a giant, hairy, drooling werewolf that hadn't cleaned itself in years and lived deep in the middle of a grueling forest, and the only thing it had to eat was it's own poop because no creature wanted to live in that forest.
My first job sucked those testicles.

There was no organization, no managers, no sanitation, and the owner literally hired anyone that asked. I got rude customers everyday, I burned myself everyday, and the labor was extremely heavy. Not to mention the owner was a complete b-hole
