| They adapted the first parts of the story in this episode. Luze the little boy is as annoying as I expected him to be, but the transformation to dark schneider was badass as fck. Also to note they didn't really shy away from the fan service of the manga as they kept most of the outfits as the original and made princess sheila really delicious. |

| The anime exceeded my drawing expectation from half of the episode 1 that i watched. I hope animation is also so good like drawing. Because 6 episode version of this anime had spell casting almost half of the anime therefore animation is so critical for this anime to succeed. |

| It's actually way better than I expected for a Netflix show. At least they didn't fuck up like they've done with Record of Ragnarok. About it being edgy or generic, well, it's Bastard!!, remember the manga is from late 80s, it came out way before a lot of similar pretentious stuff in the 00s. This is classic seinen. |

| After decades, the lad is back. I missed you, you handsome devil. Let's hope we might actually get more than one chapter in the next decade to celebrate this.. It's a bit weird that they already spoiled one of the twists in the first minute, though. |

| Pretty cool start, I like it. Dark Schneider seems like a fun guy, liked Yoko too. Definitely gonna love their chemistry. Actions scenes were done pretty well too. |

| One of those cases when a bit of rewriting of the source would be very beneficial for the modern viewer but I guess LidenFilms ware too lazy for that and putted all their bets on the older fans of the franchise. So this is the old cheesy show but with meh visuals, uninspired voice acting and totally ruined comic timing. Like GAR but lame GAR. |
| Didn't expect much, because i thought it would be depressing, because of the setting and from the poster, but it was kinda cool, and really loved the comedy,, Dark Schneider isn't that of a serious guy, so I'll probably enjoy this series..... If they are funny, i Don't mind Ecchi, but if it turns out like DxD i will probably drop it, hope it doesn't happen. The animation is really good, and i won't compare the animation to big studios, because this animation is more than enough for such an old series.....If Berserk can get at least this type of animation with kinda vintage theme, i can guarantee it will cross 8.5+ easily.... So overall a solid 8.5/10 for the 1st episode |

| My expectation of Dark Schneider was bit over the top, since I was so hype by the Metal 90's trailer. Gore was nice, but I really wanted Dark Schneider to be over the top, but instead he ignores a half naked princess, without even groping HER!!! (not serious) From the looks of things, its only the childhood female friend can turn, by kissing the young boy into Dark Schneider? Reminds me of yugioh, but tad boring with kiss restriction. I was hoping all random sexy ladies in the story will turn the boy into Dark Schneider. Will I miss anything by dropping this? |

| Wow they are going ham on the violence and music references (that megadeth spell), bring on the blood and gore. 80s hair with modern shading. Also loving the ending theme. One of the ministers stated to Princess Sheila that Ozzy Osborn's Dark Rebel Army served Dark Schneider, when in fact the Grand Priest of Meta-llicana sealed his soul away in Lucien. Osoborn calls him an impostor after he manifests. Reminds me of that plotline in Fist of the North Star when some bandits claimed to be serving Kenshiro. This chad doesn't give a rat's ass about the kingdom, only Yoko. Their dynamic when he's in Dark Schneider form reminds me of Inuyasha and Kagome. |

| This seems promising! You can tell its not a netflix original anime because it doesnt look like shit. The artstyle especially on the cover reminds me a lot of Drifters. Its horny, cheesy, over the top action. What is there not to like? |

| I hope Yoko improves as a character, letting all those people die because she is embarrassed over a kiss is quite scummy behavior. Since I'm assuming Lucian will be sealed and unsealed throughout the show I certainly hope she doesn't keep hesitating. This show is looking to be quite the cheesy show with over the top violence and sexuality, will have to see how it plays out, this could work in its favor if the story and characters don't get too dumb. |

| Good starting point to the series. Well animated. Flashy, good acting by the voiceactors. The titular lead is definitely living it in the dub. You can see him and feel him. He's basically everything when on screen. Which is great. |

| Heavy metal? Dark fantasy? Edgy humor? Pretty girls? Handsome guys? Sounds nice. I will at least watch the next episode to see if I like that kind of mixture offered by this anime. |
