| If MAL became a PAID site, would u join? :) Ok, so this might be a stupid question seeing how so many of you pride yourself on being here. ;) But would the benefits of getting info on all the latest anime discussions and listing features in here outweigh the costs of paying for a MAL membership? I'm assuming a paid membership will weed out all those people that are still in school/trolls or just plain cheap. Just curious as to the response from all the working class people in here. Lets say something along the lines of $2.99 a month for the basic features. |

| This would weed out everyone but the elitists, and we thought our userbase already had poor reputation. I'd pay pocket change a month if every Anime listing site charged a competitive rate and if we had someone coding/ updating the site on a regular basis. |
