| Cute first episode. It’s cool to see Boji and Kage just doing slice of life stuff without the backdrop of all the drama from the main series. I particularly enjoyed the last bit with the poor girl/sick mother. That was so sweet to give the money to them. Of course despa looked at it as an investment 😂 Aimer ED Lets goooooooooooo |

| Ranking of Kings is back, with some side stories, potentially some original ones too. Hmm, a little mixed on this so far to be honest, on the one hand, it's nice to see some slice of life moments with Bojji and Kage, but at the same time, I'm wondering if this was really necessary in the first place, though there's not enough material for Season 2 at the moment. Still, I more or less enjoyed it, and the art style is still as well done as before. We'll see how it pans out in the upcoming weeks. |

| I didn't know this was going to be side stories till I was watching it. That's fine I guess, should be interesting to learn more about the characters. The old lady fooling Kage is a story that's been done a million times though, the second story was wholesome at least. |
| Episode was really slow and too dry/boring for me as a whole but I do think that this spin-off should help a bit with the world building as well as fleshing out some stuff that might have been ignored or rushed in the first season as that focused on the story. |
| There's always something with Despa. First he's freaking out over a single aging spot, then it's money, what a tutor. Well, he was kind enough to help out the girl and her mom. What he did has a greater value than the money. Kage had to put in lots of work today. I figured the oldy lady would be kind enough to give him the shuddercap after putting him through it first. What a savage she is xD Resorting to gamble after failing at so many jobs is such a classic. Reminded me of HxH in this instance. Not a bad start overall. Great to have more Boji and Kage. I wasn't expecting an opening even better than the first two, so I'm fine with this one. It's lighthearted and fits the vibe of this entry based on the first episode. The ED is a 🎯 |

| Lol that old lady was devious, playing Kage the way she did. Bojji continues to be wholesome af by wanting to help that girl and her sick mom. It was nice of Despa to come through with the assist but of course he also uses that as a way to invest his money then get it back lol. Even if these are just little side stories I'm glad we have Ranking of Kings back. More Bojji and Kage content is always welcome. Also, Aimer on the ED 👌👌👌 once again she doesn't miss. |

| I'm happy Boji is back, but this just seemed so random. I thought this was just going to be 1 an episode special. I was surprised to find a series. I guess it's going to be a bunch of side stories. Not a fan of the OP either. |

| Ousama Ranking is back with the OVA-like side story that's meant to couple itself with the main story, taken from the manga's extra chapters to anime-original stories. PEOPLE 1's OP is decent, and Aimer's ED is nice for a short like this. Despa getting an age spot, to think that this is enough for him to stop giving training to Bojji because he isn't feeling all that great, it rests on Kage to run an errand to get him a shuddercap mushroom. But the mushroom is rare, since it's protected by a turtle-bear fusion of a monster. Kage's not alone, and the coincidence of an old lady getting injured, he took her back to her home...to run her errand instead, forced by her sympathy, as Bojji continues his own training while Despa...covers himself up. Well, at the end of the day, the old lady giving him a shuddercap pie, it's better than nothing, since she is the only one who can command the monsters like her own pets. Being money-conscious, Despa is really desperate for more, and both Bojji and Kage go out to get some work. The deaf Bojji would be already enough to limit jobs, though Kage would think of a similar manner where Bojji would be the target and have everyone throw beanbags at him to score for money, though one frail girl would do the same, and being of compassion since she is poor, and is disheartening to see her be sad and gamble her money away. This is reality that Kage inflicts on Bojji being the ways of the world, and the girl with her sickly mother, it's best to leave it to Despa to invest in her future instead. A decent side story, all things considered. |

| I'm hoping that there ends up being a bit of a story arc later on in this side series, but this episode was decent: light and fluffy unlike much of the main story. I don't really a problem with the difference in tone though because I think the characters they established in the main story WOULD act like this in the less serious moments. The main series seemed pretty rushed in the second half, so it could be nice to get some side stories elaborating upon that part of the series. |

| I was expecting to be shown Bojji building his own kingdom so this was a tad bit disappointing but as an SoL, it was decent at least, especially the second one, which I found pretty wholesome. |

| While not as engaging as the main story, I think this will still be a nice addition to the overall Ousama Ranking world. If it's just gonna be a chill slice of life spin off focusing on the characters and getting to know them and the world better, while also filling in some gaps, then nice. OP and ED a certified banger though. |
