Welp, this turned out to be a pretty dangerous missions to save survivors. With each progressing episode, it feels like this show brings in the more dangerous creatures.

Nobara had some trouble along with the team. Honestly, any mistake could've cost their lives. Even Yuuji realized the shit they got themselves into. Glad they kept the violence for this episode.

Jujutsu Kaisen starting to show more of it's fucked up nature, even tho it obviously won't be as graphic as in the manga.

And you simply gotta love Sukuna. His rape face was gold lol.

Great episode again.

Yuuji should have been know definition of death. I sympathize with him. Probably he will more and more grow up as a human.
Domain Expansion is one of best special powers. TBH, I was overwhelmed it including amazing animation. Very intense and thought-provoking episode.

Yuuji is struggling and in pain both mentally and physically, and the hopelessness makes him cry. It was to be expected - even a superhuman like Yuuji has to face such horrible situations at least once, and he just wasn't really ready for that.
It was a very nice episode. This adaptation is going wonderful so far, and knowing what's gonna happen in the future just amplifies my excitement.

I was slightly dissapointed by this episode. Felt like they were setting up for something bigger and it just didn't feel like that much happened. Hopefully they'll bring it back in the next episode.

This episode was absolutely amazing. Itadori letting Sakuna do all the work was an honest pleasure to watch and seeing this episode end that way with Itadori not taking over was really interesting and makes my even more hyped for next episode

Felt so bad for Yuji. He's just a kid afterall. Him crying and not wanting to die is so realistic and relatable. It makes me love him even more.
Sukuna's reaction is the moment/twist that made me keep reading the manga. It was so cliche before that I was gonna drop it until I see this. I wasn't expecting Sukuna to actually act as a villain instead of being tamed by the mc and being used as a tool/powerup. The story is only going to get better and better going forward.

Also, I love how they showed Nobara running out of nails. It's a nice little change from the manga. Man, she really is a unique, strong female shounen character.

Slightly disappointed with the Domain Expansion scene. They just showed a far shot while the manga showed us a closeup shot of how cool it looks

I felt the exact same slight disappointment, but as a manga reader of JJK I can tell you that they were definitely setting up for something bigger. Next week is gonna be really good, I promise.

A good episode. We got some power scaling and Yuji's voice actor is really good at delivering his lines. But Sukuna really owns this episode. It didn't quite get the manga feel that I was expecting but I'm looking forward to the next one.

Sukuna toying with Special Grade in this episode

Gojo toying with Sukuna in episode 2

My god how strong is Gojo in this world?
Even if I'm alone, I'll go, even if I want to die.
I can hear your voice, saying I shouldn't die.
Even if it's difficult, even if I cry from loneliness
I can feel warmth from deep inside my heart.

Going round-and-round and flowing, time is ever-changing.
I can't remember what happened anymore, but
If I try and close my eyes, I can hear someone's laughing voice
For some reason, now, that is My Most Precious Treasure.

Hmm so a window is like radar of sorts that works by sensing curses. The idiots guide to curses lol. Sending rookies against a special huh talk about being shorthanded. The veil sure is convenient. But man the fight against the special sure was a tough one. Being saved and put into a frogs mouth sure was fun. Sukuna's casual dismissing of the special while he thinked sure was hillarious. The special's fear of Sukuna sure put paid to the tension in that battle though. He really made the fight against the special easy though. Still that sure was quite the cliff-hanger that the ep ended with. Overall a solid ep that featured an excellent combination of lore expansion, character development and detailed and brutally stylish combat in the form of Sukuna's trashing of the special. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Damn beginning was a little slow, but then things kicked up and we got some in-fighting going on and bam now she’s through the floor. Oop, doggy in the wall. BAM now shit hits the fan. Good thing the finger devil guy is such a bad ass

Overall, we got some blood and comedy over here. Definitely a much more serious and spooky episode than usual. Especially with that ending hot damn that was insane!

WHOA!!! What a great episode! Itadori's hand was cut, his fingers were obliterated. That Special Grade Cursed Spirit is certainly strong. BUT, that spirit is POWERLESS AGAINST SUKUNA! Sukuna is way too powerful to be just a special grade, there should be a separate classification for him. lmao. Looks like Itadori passed out after that encounter with the spirit, AND SUKUNA IS IN CONTROL! Next episode will surely be great as well! Can't wait!

P.S Glad they didnt made the sukuna domain expansion a 3D mess and opted for much more better one though we can barely see the details of the domain expansion, it is nitpicking at this point lol

Woah baby talk about a fucking episode!! They did not come to mess around this week!! After some introductory episodes to start us off we now enter our first real arc with the cursed womb! That was insanely thrilling to see animated. Edge of my seat the whole time. Our resident trio going off on their own to face whay they would later discover to be a special grade curse. This episode had all the hallmarks of what makes early Jujutsu Kaisen amazing and really helped rocket the hype of this story. Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara way in over their heads trying to solve this problem alone. Quickly discovering that the cursed womb isn't gonna be easy to deal with.

Soon as they walk in the door its easy to see. Entering that curse's expansion. Nobara separated from the boys. Yuji losing his hand. Things go bad quick! Yuji has to really dig deep to even use an ounce of cursed energy trying to stall for Megumi and Nobara to escape. Lots of philosophies this episode too with Megumi questioning Yuji ideals of saving people since what happens if they go on to to horrible things. But the real this episode here is getting to see Sukuna come out! The badass to end all badasses. Taking care of this cursed womb without much trouble at all. Loved seeing his big move animated. Now the big dog is off his leash.

Great Episode.
If this anime can keep its quality(overall) as it is now till the end then it will be the anime of the season and might become a potential anime of the year. Although I think it's too early to say that. But let's see.

Another okay episode. Remove the random unneeded comedy moments and I'd say decent since they did showcase some darker moments and some pretty decent amounts of violence as well so tones didn't mesh too well. Again, anime is better than the manga for me generally so far entertainment wise for me personally. I don't care for the story whatsoever in this show but the atmosphere and production makes up for it quite a bit to make it watchable weekly for me, which I'll take.

They explained it if you actually watched the episode. Still, this thread has so many manga readers teasing shit I wonder who will be the first to spoiler.

Anyway, another magnificent episode. This show is wild and well worth watching. It certainly stepped up a gear when we were shown true Jujutsu power at work. That wild gateway summon give me the old Orchimaru vibes. Bring on the cursed magic!!!

you only see it that way because you're biased, so you twisted everything you see. Yuji saved the kid, but your twisted view had you seeing it as him saving Nobara. Both Yuji and Nobara are fighting special grades, which are just not something first-years should be fighting. Both of them lost and have to be saved, but you only saw Nobara needing to be saved and blatantly ignored Yuji's situation, because your hypocrisy blinded and twisted your judgement.

Already being thrown into the deep end and I love that! Sakuna himself only knows what a curse is (along with the seniors of Jujutsu Tech) and it's going to be really intresting seeing how the students catch up. Also, the one on one fights are so beautifully animated! The chemistry between Kugisaki and Itadori is such a welcome relief.

I'm in love. :D And his sexy voice; I re-listened and re-listened, looked up the VA, and now I cannot unsee that it's the same voice actor for Victor Nikiforov from Yuri!!! on Ice. And Bercouli from SAO Alicization. And many more. I must look up his other roles too.

this is just kind of boring me, despite it was ostensibly one long action scene, but it's not being particularly impressive on the directorial/choreography aspect

There's no story for the monster of the week, not even to the level of Garo or Dororo. (even this cheap plot is too much effort for the writers) It literally begins with them being told "Hey, here's a random encounter. Go, uh, fight it." And then they kind of fight it, I guess. That's the whole story and all the dramatic elements of the entire episode.

Even then, it blows its stakes pretty early by ripping an arm off. Since we know that's not going to actual be serious, everything after that isn't much higher than torture porn. And then he re-taps into The Darkness Within, in the same way that we already saw before, but I guess this monster is somewhat different? It just feels like I've already seen this episode, not just in a countless other Jump shows, but from this very show itself, only a couple weeks ago.

Uh, no, their objective wasn't to fight the Special Grade. Ijichi-san told them to locate and evacuate remaining survivors. In case they encounter that curse, it's run-or-die, which ofc Megumi and Yuuji couldn't do 'cause 1) Nobara was sucked into another space, 2) that shit is terrifyingly strong while still being playful and 3) they themselves admitted running away is impossible when it's so close to them.
And did you miss how the episode set up some plot points for Yuuji's and Megumi's conflicting ideals, as well as Itadori's internal struggle with his weakness and regrets? It wasn't pure monster battle, man.

Superb episode once again!

So we get to see Sukuna shine a bit, he's so damn overpowered that he put the Special Grade curse they were fighting to shame. That Domain expansion looked pretty sick, wish it could see more of the details of it as the shot was pretty far away.

That special grade was a joke compared to Sukuna when he got (a little bit?) serious and it was even carrying one of it's fingers as well. Now I can't wait to see what Sukuna will do next, as Yuuji doesn't seem to be able to take back control. That (rape) face though!

This curse was definitely too much for the lead trio.. But Sukuna alone made this so much more fun.
