DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Char continuing to wear his mask to a ball is one of the most memorably stupid images of this awesome show, haha. I mean ok, so his mask may be an important plot point requiring him to hide his identity to everyone, because we know his sister is fighting for the Federation, but come on. And the downfall of the purple haired Zeon dude who's name I cant remember. Char is one smooth bastard, I will fully expect him to steal the lady too! |

| Damn, this episode was intense. Loved this ep. I hope Nyoron fansubs will do the other episodes too since they have been on a hiatus recently. I'm looking forward to more MSG episodes. |

| That was the most sexist moment this show has had yet. -laughs- Garma dieing...eh. I liked him. But it's advancing Char. Who really rocks. Turning a normal party into a masquerade with his mask. |

| Wow, good episode. Char is like Lulu's predecessor eh? Poor Garma. I wonder what will happen to his girlfriend, she has been very annoying so far but maybe she will improve? I can't believe how her father slapped her to the ground, what a supreme asshole, he should get killed off too. |

Strangely enough, I've found myself pretty much liking every episode up until now. Sucks about Garma, though I suppose introducing a love interest suddenly like this was a pretty major death flag, because he was a pretty decent guy. He was just too trusting and naive when it came to Char, who was awesome here. He played Garma like a violin. |

| Char takes off his helm but leaves his tacky mask on at the party. Oh man are the Zeon guys stylishly 1979. No wonder why all the girls at the party were majorly swooning over that guy who probably has a name. No-Name Rich Brat with Luscious Purple Hair proposes to that pretty girl who resembles Gwen Stefani ("It's my life, father! Don't you forget my right to choose!") only to heavily judged by Char ("Front-line romance~") then betrayed by Char. I guess the guy who just proposed during a war dying is sort of every war anime ever? I can't wait to see Char take off his helm but leave on his tacky mask to the wedding ceremonies when he picks No-Name Rich Brat with Luscious Purple Hair's girl up. Also, No-Name Rich Brat with Luscious Purple Hair's battle-cry while committing suicide or whatever into the base sort of made me throw up. Boy, is he pretentious. I'm kind of falling in love with this anime. |

| Irelene's father was mayor and wasn't he originally on federation side. Amuro is sexist and now the mayor is sexist. Zeon starts to look pretty good faction to join. Except Char pulled his dick move. I wonder what his problem is with Zeon since Garma's father was leader of Zeon. I wouldn't want to piss him off. I wonder why Irelene's father didn't want his daughter to marry Garma. He was prince and Irelene would have been princess. Well, he was in fed before, but it looks like he wasn't really intrested about their ideology and would most likely wanted stability. IIRC they said that Zeon is currently winning, so I guess deserting to Zeon wouldn't be too hard thing to do. |

| Damn probably the best episode so far! The way Char planned all of this!! Definitely cunning bastard!! Garma was concentrated too much on his love one Icelina and instead of focusing on the battle and even letting his guard down ever since Char made him think he's on his side. Char really played him like a toy, had fun with it and threw it in the garbage :O And that laugh!!! Really love Char's menacing laugh HA HA HA HA! And why the hell did he did the kamikaze move instead of trying to survive? Guess his pride was hurt as hell after Char played him. Poor Icelina, having seeing your lover for a few minutes then the next time you heard of him, he's already dead. Her father is such an asshole though. And what's up with the slaps! Is this the main motif of the show XD And that leader of Zeon looks like a Star Wars villain!! I wonder why Char has a grudge on him? Or does he want to take over Zeon by himself? Good stuff!! I can't wait for more episodes! |

| Father slapping his daughter really shows how the times have changed. (for better in certain aspects imo) Garma died cause Char is an asshole, but a cool asshole. I just wanna know why he did it. Amuro being cool still along with the rest of the gang aboard the Trojan Horse. Looks like Garma's future-wife is going to try and get some revenge next episode. Who will survive? Probably not her. |

| Gundam just isn't gundam without a woman getting slapped by a man. Battle was alright. Still lacks epicness though. Char wasn't very sneaky with his betrayal, a bit disappointed there. |

| I don't really think the father slapping his daughter was portrayed as a good thing. The Federation is looking more and more like crap, while Zeon is generally looking better, with a few exceptions on each side. I really have to question Char's motives now. He mentioned revenge, so I don't think it's just about gaining rank. Does he actually have something against the Zabi family, or is there more to it? (In any case, my appreciation for him as an antagonist is increasing.) I can't help but feel bad for the dad. Regardless of whichever side is right or wrong, losing your son like that would be awful. :/ |

| Char has its revenge, because it is not clear to us laymen, it would take its Origin to clarify, however, despite the narrative being a little too linear, the story starts to become interesting. Amuro has understood the intent of the red comet? Since it is thanks to him that the white base is saved, that wise guy Char. |

| Is Char's treachery justifiable? Garma doesn't deserve death just because he's part of an elite family. He didn't do anything evil, he's just taking part of war and is on the other side of the conflict from the good guys. You can't put the sins of the father onto the son. My guess is Char views Garma like a soldier on the other side of war, since you can't really justify that either other than defending yourself or your country. |

| Good to read the older posts since I thought maybe it is was reviled why Char had a grudge against Garma and I just missed it. Garma struck me as a guy who would be too much of a cowered to fly his plane into White Base, but the guy showed pride for Zeon. |
