The fights was awesome, to be honestly the op-song doesn't fits to the fight-scene.
In general it's stupid to use a ballad for action-scenes.

It starts with an epic animated fight between Al and Pride,Kimblee...
Sloth is so fast that he can't even direct where he is heading...Crap
Why are they trying so much? Eventually,Pride is gonna consume them all.(He could have saved Kimblee)Damn.these CHILDREN enemies scare me a lot.

Kimblee was one of the smartest and most resourceful of all the villain team. Pride messed up there big time by eating him up.

The Armstrongs are awesome. Sloth is going to require something spectacular from them. But how many more times will Alex have to save his sister before she recognizes his worth?

I thought that was supposed to pump out more "feels" instead of going with the action, that's what I felt anyway. It matched well with Alex saving Olivier in my opinion, and Ed's hesitation to harm/kill the immortal army, that still annoys me.

The sound of Kimblee barely breathing was quite disturbing but a nice addition. Al vs Kimblee/Pride was awesome. One of the best fights in this show so far.

They've done a really great job of making Pride the most sinister homunculus. It was chilling watching him watch Kimblee die.

Episode was great, too much to mention. All the set up has paid off into a story climax that doesn't let up.

I also thought the fight at the beginning of the episode was fantastic, superbly animated and quite creative, one of my favorite fighting scenes in FMA: B

Damn, another really good episode. Kimblee is gone now, and that was a double whammy way to go. Bitten in the neck by a lion, then eaten by a homunculus. Ed and co are joined by Mustang and Hawkeye, which should be some valuable backup. Those mannequins really are something else. And the Olivier/Armstrong fight against Sloth seems to be a damn tough one.

This is getting really, really good.

I had quite a few problems with this episode, the most major of them being the utter banality of the fight with the dolls that has been going on for a couple of episodes now. Literally nothing of note happens in these scenes and it's just watching Ed and company pummel soulless CGI dummies over and over again which, needless to say, gets old really quickly. Insert songs, especially when a show's opening is used, tend to be extremely effective in getting me hyped if they're used at the right climatic moments - here one was completely wasted on a fight scene with the dolls where the heroes spent a minute swiping at their legs.

Another gripe I had is one that has permeated the series for an immensely long time already, so much so that people have long since come to terms with it and mostly ignored its use, but it's such an obvious example of poor writing that I just can't excuse the number of times it has been abused as of late. I'm talking of course, about the deux ex machina this series loves to pull out of its ass so much. Olivier about to get killed? Her brother miraculously appears out of nowhere to save the day! Al, Lion guy and Marcoh out of options to escape? Yoki busts into the scene with a minivan! Honestly, for a show as acclaimed as this using these kind of situations to write itself out of a hole once in awhile is permissable, but this show has just been overusing them way too much lately.

My last problem is with the plot-induced stupidity of the characters that really compromises my ability to take the show seriously. Al is naive, sure, but even an autistic pig would realise something was up after Pride kept hitting the helmet for hours bordering on days, and I'm incredulous at the fact that warning bells didn't trigger in his mind at all after seeing how submissive and seemingly resigned to his fate Pride was. Marcoh, whose appearance itself was also a DEM in this episode, also had questionable intellect in the scenes he was present in - wouldn't it have made far more sense to hide himself after obtaining the stone and healing the lion? Instead, he does the complete opposite and decides to expose himself to the enemy, holding the stone in plain sight with a sly smirk despite knowing jolly well that he is one of the most vulnerable members in the cast and could have easily been taken out Pride there and then.

I'm still enjoying the show in spite of all these small nitpicks though, and I'm loving how all the cast members are being given time to shine and show off their skills while all fighting for a common goal.

Episode in which the only thing worthy of note is the clash between Pride and Al, compelling, and offers some thrills, and the clash between Armstrong and Sloth, the rest does not have anything different than what we have seen previously , the various contexts undergo only small changes. The drawings and animations are the norm, it is starting to like the ending.

Really sad to see Kimblee go like that, his windpipe broken, not even able to say his last words. He couldn't see his endgoal. R.I.P. Best villain of FMA:B by a large margin.

Meanwhile I'm still confused what's going to happen once The Gate's opened. Van Hohenheim told Al to not only look underground but also at the sky. Danny's siblings also mentioned that there's an eclipse today. Hmm, still I can't put the pieces together.

Poor Heinkel... :( But fear not, Marcoh was there and Al could use the power of the philosopher's stone! :D Awesome scene, to be honest. Alphonse wrecking Pride and Kimblee, while everyone can survive their attack.

Armstrongs vs Sloth was a cherry on top, especially when Sloth appeared to be the fastest homunculus, even if he represents laziness.

Byt the 2-3 minutes the mostly fight Al VS Pride & Kimbley had in, and after that I was like "wow, Al's fighting style is much better than Ed" but my problem is that he is still naive, he always tried to lock-up Pride and actually to kill, surely if he were meant to kill the fight was much more interesting, I mean, I don't think anyone 'till now could touch Pride's body but he with the philosopher's stone actually did it, really shame that he didn't really tried more and he were about to give him the final fist...
Mustang enters the fight was priceless.

It's a big surprise to find out that Sloth was the fastest Homunculus among them and they gave the Armstrongs a really hard time. The shoot-on-sight order is still placed on Olivier but her extreme negotiation skills made them realize who the bigger threat is.

They fought against Alphonse with the power of the Philosopher's Stone and felt his mettle first hand and it ended with Kimblee getting his throat ripped off by a lion with primal rage and getting eaten by Pride. He's the real glutton among them, that's for sure.

Edward and the others know to go for the legs to stop the zombies but they just kept coming. It's very fortunate that Mustang joined in when they were all exhausted.

Mei actually has the advantage thanks to how cramped the corridors and how it restrict a lot of Envy's movements.

another fab episode as to be expected from this amazing show, i loved it!

al vs kimblee and pride was so good!! and heinkel, marcoh and yoki turned up to help (yoki was funny lol wanting some glory) and then pride just ate kimblee? he is really embracing the gluttony inside him

the armstrongs fighting sloth was great, so tense! who would have guessed sloth is the fastest! olivier is such a good character, so determined and strong-willed

may is adorable but man do i wish she had just gone back to xing. even though she can absolutely hold her own, she did not need to get mixed up in all this mess

what an entrance by roy and riza at the end, nothing short of legendary

Good episode all around, Mustang's entrance being the icing of the cake, but, in what universe was sealing Ed and the guys themselves with an army of invincible monsters a good idea? They did know the monsters were OP.

Alphonse battle was very cool. I liked that the lion chimera is still alive

Sloth vs. Armstrong siblings was a disaster of a fight. Assuming that sloth weighs around 200 kg (about 500 lbs.) and is moving at least 30 m/s (about 60 mph,) Armstrong stopping him is the equivalent of punching a VW bug going 30 mph hard enough to bring it to a full stop. That is completely unrealistic, especially since he is clearly not using alchemy here. Why must we endure these physical feats that are so far from the realm of reality? This doesn't even address the question of how Armstrong got in the way faster than the speedy Sloth could get there. At least Armstrong's later idea with the spike was actually clever.

Armstrong continues to claim her place as my least favorite character, showing total ingratitude to her brother for saving her life, as well as being stupid enough to try to stress a decision in a man with a gun to her head. Sloth can't kill her soon enough.

Pride and Kimblee vs. Al was entertaining, but he sure didn't like using the flash bombs that clearly worked. Using the philosopher's stone in the fight also seems to go against his prior convictions. Plus, they ruined the victory by having the characters be stupid enough to ignore Pride's taunting about how the sacrifices could stop the problem by simply NOT going to central. Character stupidity to advance the plot is bad writing.

Kimblee died in a pretty lame manner for how cocky and sinnister he was presented to be (not a flaw but actually I like that they did it like that), Roy and Riza meet up with Ed and co. to help fight the immense amount of mannequin soldiers there and Mei and Envy duking it out still. So much happening everywhere still but nothing feels rushed nor slow. The pacing and visuals in this arc so far have been great as a whole.

Finally an ok episode. Pride absorbing Kimblee makes sense this time. Unexpected op-song in the middle of the fight lol. But if you ask me, that battle against the dolls is stupid, I get it, they don't want them to escape but they can't kill them so they are practically killing themselves. If it wasn't for Roy convenient rescue, they'd all be dead. And wtf Yoki conveniently appearing and saving everyone.
