| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we got Goku vs Gohan this episode and damn, what a fight this was. Piccolo and Tien also came as well in preparation for the tournament. Somehow, I feel that Goku got stronger than before from just those few days. Hope they make the fighting this exciting for the upcoming matches. Gohan seems to have improved a lot as well. |

| That fight was intense! Happy for my boy Gohan, finally getting some love. So he's gonna be the leader for their team. Don't really know how important that'll make him besides planning things out or something (judging from the preview). Seeing Vegeta smile when he felt Goku and Gohan fighting made me smile for some reason. Hopefully he gets some training done too lol. |

Too bad the tag team battle was too damn short, talk about teasing... now I can wait for all the Z warrior to work together in the tournament, Gohan vs Son was dope, and with that the captain of the team has been decided. On a side note: Now that I look more and more the stage every time the narrator mention how many hours our heroes have until the tournament at the end of an episode in this arc I’m under the impression that giant spinning top may not always be like that and I think as the contest is without a clear victor the stage is going to defrag like the show in when all the pieces are gathering to form the arena at the end of the episode... |

| Can't wait for Gohan to break his limits and attain new powers too! That was an epic fight indeed, Mystic Gohan pushed SSJB Goku to his limits. Universe 10 is doomed if you ask me, The GOD of Universe 10 is not nearly as smart and wise as Gowasu is, should've let him pick the members instead. |
| Gohan is a beast. Back and forth action, great to see him back to relevance. Now question is can he get job done. One would assume that the 3rd try is the charm but only time will tell. I feel like he's going to have a big role in the tournament seeing as he's team captain now. Nice to see Vegeta giving a smile. Hopefully we see a Vegeta vs Gohan in the near future. So for now Gohan can compete with SSB Goku for a bit. I'd say Gohan can probably hold his own against Goku Black from the start of the Black arc. |

| I feel so proud of Gohan this episode.That must be what Goku and everyone think.. The fight choreography in this episode was great and we get at least a good 10 minutes of action this episode.For a moment i thought Goku would let Gohan fall down but then he grabs him xD Definitely one of the best episode yet. |

| Welp, Tien was practically useless in the fight, let's hope he does better in the actual tournament. Ah...the pink elephant is actually quite a moron it seems... I don't think anyone expected Gohan to win against Blue Kaio Ken Goku, but honestly I had to lower the volume while watching the fight because of the x2 Masako Nozawa's numbing battle screech xD |

| Well, since Krillin was able to fight SSB Goku, I'm ok with Goku using it against Gohan. I am relieved that he still got 1-shot by Kaio Ken SSB though. Tien didn't do anything at all. At least his power-scaling is somewhat real though. Also Buu got hyped up with his new form, and now they just decide to replace him with Frieza...? I'm still curious how well Frieza will be cooperating with them. Maybe he's going to sabotage everyone else in their team, so we get some extra suspense in the tournament. At that point they might as well replace Tien as well with Cell for the #lolz. |

| Honestly it was a waste of time. We really didn't need this interaction. While I do appreaciate, that the fights finally picked up the pace of dbz in the latest 20-30 episodes, they still mostly feel like white noise. There wasn't one memorable exchange of attacks in the whole battle. On the plus side they introduced some fighters from universe 10, which are once again following the ginyu force shtick of being goofy, which isn't all that promising either. |

| Damn that was hot. I think that's now the Gohan everyone waited so long for. He looked so serious when he came into that restaurante and also during the fight with Goku he wanted more. I loved the fight. I think besides the training in the room of ghost and soul (DBZ) it's first time we saw them both fighting against each other. Gohan got so strong in this short amount of time and Piccolo seems also be very well prepared for the tourney. Tenshinhan was absolute overwhelmed by Gohans power. He's definitely the weak point I see in the team atm. Vegetas smile when he was realizing Goku and Gohan fighting with everything they have made me also smile :D Last scene of the fight was nice. Both Goku and Gohan going all out with their power. It seemed Gohan enjoyed it a lot (his smile after the clash with his father) and now he's also the team captain. Poor universe 10, I don't see how they will survive with such stupid looking guys. I also think they're f*****. I wonder what they were talking about Buu. I hope nothing bad happened :o |
