| One of the most boring "fatherly figure to a girl" shows I've seen recently, kinda a shame as the MC being a yakuza screams potential Yaeka is very cute tho |
| Ignoring the jarring transition from edgy yakuza dude to wholesome guardian in the span of one single scene, I would say this was a solid first episode overall. |

| This is heartwarmingly violent, let's go. I am getting beat up by diabetes. That was a really good start. Kirishima looks badass, sounds badass and is badass. A show that can make me smile genuinely is a good sign. OP and ED are bangers. Yaeka is adorable. Yaeka's mother seems to be in a coma though from what I can see. Overall this show is nice, perfect balance of a lot of things. |

| Hinamatsuri + Kakushigoto + Gokushufudou + Kotaro Lives Alone and I could list some few more xD These type of shows are right up my alley and the characters are already endearing. I do dig the contrasts between drama and sweet, Yakuza and babysitter, lol. Definitely a keeper this season. Keep going studio feel. |

| A very beautiful episode with character designs from Horimiya and the studio that made Yosuga no Sora...gave us a very comfy and healing anime for the Summer season. This is such a banger for my standards, OP and ED are both very good and that animation is such a sweet delight. The relationship of Yaeka and Tooru is also built to blossom and grow as the season goes further. Yessir aside from Yofukashi no Uta and Shadows House 2, this is my favorite anime of this season so far. And what a time for me to come back on watching anime again. |

| This was very cute. I like that Yaeka-chan is 7 years old, which isn't too young, like grade 2 in elementary school. So she will still be able to do things herself. Very adorable first episode Looks like her mom is sick 😞 |

| It is undeniable, this season there are many anime that look wholesome but have dark side. The story is good with light comedy, I'm looking forward to it. |

| This one is up my alley. The small interactions between Kirishima and Yaeka were sweet and wholesome. I love these slice-of-life type animes. I am not saying they are the same, but it gave me the same vibe of Sweetness and Lightning. It is definitely on my watch list for this season. |

| liked this, seeing how stacked the cast is I was hoping the series itself wouldn't disappoint and it's already looking good. I thought Kirishima was going to have more trouble dealing with Yaeka but he's already doing well, and is able to communicate in a way that she is able to understand so I look forward to seeing how the two get closer and how she'll protect her from the dangers of being part of the yakuza. Lol poor Sugihara being caught in pigtails by the boss and I found it amusing how he later had braids, I guess he'll be used as Kirishima's practice doll lol. It's also nice to hear Hosoya Yoshimasa and Kamiya Hiroshi, it feels like I haven't heard them in anime for a while, particularly Kamiya who used to be in a lot of stuff. |

| That was nice. Also they did a decent job at showing how brutal some of them can act without making it come off purely comedically. It is also quite nice how her dad really loves her but he is just unable to spend that much time with her and not the usual completely neglected child. I don’t know if Japan has a concept of godfathers or not but I was thinking that. |

| I LOVE IT!!!! Starting off this anime season really strong with some bangers. This was so adorable. The look on her face when he arrived at the open day was beautiful. It's scenes like this that give you a warm happy feeling. Can't get enough of it. I love it when anime combines two things that are really mismatched. (In this case a Yakuza and a kid). He's surprisingly good at interacting with her despite his demeanor. I can't wait to watch more of this as its adorable as hell. (Not sure how I feel about them introducing what looks to be drama but it could make the series interesting if they do it well enough to not ruin the adorable atmosphere they've built-up) |

| Enjoyable first ep, it seems as though Yaekas dad is a little more distant with his daughter. Maybe not in a bad way, given him being a yakuza boss this would make sense and perhaps something to do with the condition of his wife. |
| OMG this was so cute! I picked up this cause the plot reminded me of Gokushufudo and I found the first episode great. I already like all characters that were introduced. Yaeka is so cute, it pains me seeing her so sad :( Also is her mom alive?? During the whole ep I thought she was dead but that scene at the end confused me. Btw, Yaeka's dad is hot lol |

| Lol this is cute and funny, a yakuza taking care of the daughter of the boss xD though that's a bit sad for her family situation, like seeing the mother in the hospital at the end :/ Anyway now I'm waiting for more development but the amount of heartwarming moments and comedy moments was perfect in this 1st episode |

| If I had a nickel for every "Yakuza raises a small child" anime that's come out after Hinamatsuri, I'd have several nickels. I do not, however, have Hinamatsuri season 2. |
