| it sounded like a cute romcom and it was. like yeah there was a lot of fanservice but this was one of the very few series where the fanservice made sense in context. |

| The visuals of the show drew my attention. There was also buzz surrounding the show, with people saying it is a must-see. I also enjoy watching Slice of Life shows, so I jumped in and gave it a shot. Marin isn't really my type, but she does have a nice figure, so she gets points for that. |

| I checked out three episodes a while back. ( I keep forgetting to add it to my list) but one good thing I took away from it is the theme of being yourself and liking what you like.i dropped it because I didn't find the MC interesting.and not much happened in the first three episodes. Oh my bad it was on my list and i only watched two episodes. regardless it was just okay so im not going back to it. |

| I had seen it being posted somewhere and it got my attention because of the fact it got adapted from square enix's monthly, after reading the synopsis I just felt it wasn't gonna be my type, I have never been a fan of this combination of gyaru/outgoing plus nerdy boy/introvert pairings, it keeps reinforcing the inkya otaku stereotype, Tomozaki-kun came to mind, but then I read the guy was actually a doll maker? so I went huh? ok thats different. The more I read about it the weirder it got, so this is a gyaru that actually likes cosplay? .. ok, I mean that's still within the realm of possibility, I guess the fact they actually steered away from the typical otaku = wimp trope, and actually somehow gave the girl the otaku label and somehow made it into something that is not cringeworthy is already kinda refreshing. So I just said ok, lets give this thing a chance. 100% worth it. No regrets whatsoever. Fairly gender neutral, any person otaku or not can actually enjoy it if they appreciate romantic comedies, it is indeed, kinda quirky, and I guess it wouldn't have worked 10 years ago but it does now. |
| I have three reasons to watch any anime: It's cover-art looks appealing. It's a sequel/prequel to an anime I've watched. I've read the manga My Dress Up Darling - I had read a little of the manga. Also it's cover-art does look appealing. |

| I'd be lying if I say it wasn't Marin's bomboms that got me watching in the first place xD But at the same time, I did kept watching it becuase, at first, they seemed to be focusing on the male MC, i.e. his childhood trauma regarding his love of dolls, his passion in making those, and also the part where he had to juggle studying and dress making. But that was a non-factor later on, as the waifus showed up xD To be fair though, Marin's personality was quite different and interesting to watch compared to the usual female MCs of this genre (i.e. Desumi from "Love after World Domination", Komi from "Komi can't communiacate", etc.) But regardless, it ended up still being, simply, a waifu Anime with a POV male protag. I liked it though ^_^ |

Personally, I haven't watched it, but for a genuine reason--my sister told me about the premise, and it didn't interest me, simple as that. Might watch one day, but it's not even on my PTW and I have nearly 200 entries on that, so... |

| I added it to my ptw with the intention of; cause I was going through my make fun of cloverworks in a loving way phase and made it my mission to watch all their stuff from this year (obvi didn't happen cause I could care less abt them at this point) but the visuals and and synopsis intrigued me and I ended up really looking forward to it, the first ep caught me and the second ep sold me. literally would not shut up about it every week lmao. love Marin <3 ep 11 was peak. |

| watch it because episode 1 is amazing. the rest is really bad. i think even isekai is more enjoyable and realistic than dress up darling. also i don't really like the way marin or gyaru talk in general |
