A really great series.... I was trying to find a realistic non-cliche anime for a long time. I don't know how did I miss this one when it aired but still I'm glad I found it. The ending was justified in my opinion since both Hanabi and Mugi were still not developed enough to have a non-toxic and successful relationship. They still had to find something genuine and so that they can experience mutual love. They had used each other as fuel to just move on from their respective first love. This is what really happens in real life. There is always a time period when you use someone to just protect yourself from the fear of losing something, and after dealing with it you move on to find something new. I was really moved by this anime because I could relate myself to both Mugi and Hanabi throughout the series. (So much that some events in the series happened with me too) This is also a reason why I like this anime, it was kind of a mirror to a certain period of my life. And I'm sure many of you would relate to something too in this anime. Overall a complete, justified anime with a realistic ending. 9/10 |

[quote=Hyuse]This anime will probably have special place in my heart forever now. Mugi's middle school life is pretty much my high school life summed up and Akane being a carbon copy of my ex in a way. This anime hit so hard to home for me since some of the character's interactions with each other are so realistic it was pretty scary at times. Some people might rag on this anime for having absurd moments but the author portrayed each character's feelings and actions really well at each moment and times. I really liked the unique and mature tone the setting provides compared to other romance genre anime. Also, I'm REALLY glad Mugi didn't end up with Hanabi. The ending just added even more of a sense of realism to this anime. (Yes, I know anime is fictional). Relationships never go that well so smoothly and we all can't just easily move on after losing your first crush. Really feels like the character are so real in some way to me. Not to mention the fact that since they are teens and are still young and make tons of mistakes and grow from it which is what I felt from this finale. If they forced the Mugi x Hanabi end I'm sure many viewers would've been extremely happy but this ending is so good in a different realistic way. (Also Moka is best girl. Girls like her are rare)[/quote Vacu0us said: agreed 100%that ending was perfect. it was bitter-sweet but very realistic and we don't see stuff like this very often 8/10 |

Overall, I was disappointed how we didn't really see much of Hanabi's "rude" personality that makes her very likeable. For instance, that elementary school moment making fun of Moka or her sarcastic/pissed off facial expressions in the first episode if that makes sense. They played this up the first episode, but I felt that she was rather generic throughout the show like a Shojo protagonist. Besides this, the ending made a ton of sense even when I wanted to ship her and Mugi. At this point, a Mugi x Hanabi ending would just be to please fans. Story-wise, I agree that Mugi and Hanabi are better off without each other. Mugi did have some feelings for sure, but most of his actions like standing up Hanabi and sleeping with Akane really did show Mugi cared for Akane more than Hanabi. It would have been a bit of an ass-pull to have Mugi start dating Hanabi since it feels like he's "settling". |

Somewhere in this series I half and half expected it to end horribly, "School Days" style, with Hanabi completely snapping and brutally murdering Akane..... ;) Glad it didn't end that way though. The ending, though kind of bittersweet made sense. It wasn't pleasant but live seldom is the fairytale we would like it to be. I would have understood if the creators of the manga and anime would have ended the series with Mugi and Hanabi "making a new contract" to please the audience,... up to the point where Mugi and Hanabi decide to confess their love to their respective love interests, after which Mugi does the stupidest thing he could do (but hey, I get it, I was young and stupid once too ;) ). From that point on it was clear the Mugi/Hanabi route was unrepairable. So, this was a well done series which came to the only possible conclusion. |

Otaku090 said: Can someone explain the ending to me? It's been a while since I watched it, but if I remember correctly it's basically: Teacher says she's gonna fuck whoever she damn pleases, Mr. Cuck is okay with that as long as he gets some. Hanabi and Mugi agree that it was a pretty stupid idea to pretend to be a couple and stop it. |

This was surprisingly good even though I initially watched the series for its ecchi potential. The visuals were gorgeous, soundtrack just fit the melancholic theme of the show, and the directing is well-made. Ending is a bit bittersweet but in retrospect, it is the only fitting closure for both Hanabi and Mugi for all the stuff that happened between them. |

A little disappointed that Hanabi and Mugi didn’t end up together, but it was for the better, since the relationship wasn’t built on love. I’m glad that Akane improved. I couldn’t bring myself to hate any of the characters despite the nature of some of them. On a side note, the visuals looked really pretty to me. |

Loved the show up until Mugi chose wrongly. The show was good but Mugi & Hanabi not ending together hurt. Glad the spin-off / sequel manga exists, gives the much needed ending. Art & Music were great, especially the ED. Every episode really felt like it gave 110%. I hope someday the sequel manga gets animated. |

This show is very good and somehow related to me. This anime show me the different between lust and love. I've s*x with many girls before, but I still feel empty inside. My friend told me before, that having s*x with someone you love is different, I don't pay much attention that time, but this anime makes me realized that what my friend told me maybe true. That's why I feel empty inside, because I still don't find my true love. lust can't fill your emty heart, only love can do that. this anime score 8/10 for me |

To be honest I wanted them to end up together, but I was so happy with the ending regardless. Last couple of episodes I found myself so heart broken, but I didn't give up on them. I was praying they would do the right thing by the end. I wanted them to be better people so much. I feel like they all did thet. You can't take back things but they menaged to right some wrongs and to end somw messed up relationships they built. So yeah.. even tho they didn't end up together I was very happy with the ending. If the ending was sad it would've been just too much for me. |

I shed a tear or 2 at the end...i really expected it to end with Mugi and Hanabi together. But yeah, love comes in many forms, its not always sweet and comfortable. I enjoyed both the opening and ending, and i loved the artstyle, especially Hanabi's eyes <3 |

Man what a rollercoaster of emotions, i couldn't have asked for a more perfect ending. Akane giving the flower to hanabi and cheering her up was great. Ecchan is a great friend, hanabi is very lucky to have her. Glad moca was able to move forward and find something which makes her happy. I'm really glad mugi and hanabi didn't end up together especially after what they've been trough. A solid 9/10 for me |

Ooof what the fuck was that it was legitimately a bad episode, lots of filler, very drawn out, pointless interactions, and then it ends with them not even getting together. It wouldn't have been bad if they didn't get together, but the lead up and the waiting game just made the impact so much more worse when the ending is literally nothing happens. Fuck you |

This anime was a roller-coaster to say the least. The start of it was cringeworthy and that didn't change trough the whole anime. From time to time I had to pause between the episodes, because a strong "But why would you?" question along with disbelieve of what I've just seen occured. I really can't say that it's possible to relate to any of the 'releationships' that we get the 'pleasure' to observe... Pure torture, it's not even sad, you truly get a feeling that those people deserve what they got and right when you want to believe in them... They get what they deserve. I can give props to it because it shows how confused a teen can be when it comes to what they think is true love, but on a scale of like x1000. I give it 9/10 because it ended exactly as I thought it should, except for Akane and that's a - 1 point. |

I love this ending, I was about to stop watching this at the first 7 episodes, but I guess I was wrong about that. I really enjoyed the episode from 9 to 12. This anime is not for everyone, and I won't recommend this to my friends that easily. I feel that the romance here is not like on any other anime, that's why I enjoyed this show for the drama. |

I genuinely don't know what went wrong. I really don't. This sort of edgy romantic tragedy-drama with a realistic and dysfunctional portrayal of relationships (kinda) and sex, unlike virtually every other anime, should be my kind of shit. I have a weak spot for teen dramas for this very reason. So what happened? I failed to truly care about any of the characters, and by about episode 7 I stopped caring about what happened entirely and felt like I was pushing myself through to the end because I just didn't give a fuck anymore. I guess about the time Hanabi and Mugi were no longer the focus of the series and entire episodes were instead dedicated to making us care about the rest of the cast. Was it that the series lost focus when it stopped focusing on the central duo? The fucking relentless chain of inner monologues that was at first refreshing but became very, VERY tired by episode 10? The mystery surrounding the cast, their relationships with one another, and how they might develop dissipating by the midway point? The characters barely making any real progress, except Akane because wtf? Some abstract inability to empathize with the characters on account of now being in my late 20s and not having undergone this sort of immense romantic dysfunction since my mid-late teens, thereby being too divorced from their experiences to "get it"? Some abstract inability to empathize with the characters purely on account of how they were portrayed? Was I just not in the right mindset when I watched this? Any combination of any of these possibilities? I feel robbed in some sense because everyone else, love it or hate it, seems to have felt something, and I just didn't feel anything. I mean, I love a good character drama that fills me with disgust and loathing. Cognitively, I appreciate this show on some level for its pseudo-realistic approach and being more nuanced than your traditional romantic drama, the immense amount of uncomfortably awkward oofs I experienced in the first half, and even the ending for its vague sense of nostalgic, sentimental longing... that Hanabi and Mugi didn't get a happy ending, and neither of them are much better off than when they started... I can appreciate that sort of thing. But when I started having to force myself to pay attention, that's not symptomatic of enjoyment. I mean, fuck, normally I'm even a fan of plodding anime and extended inner monologues. Man, this really bums me out. I really should've loved this show, too. |

Yikes... By episode 2 I figured this was some School Days 2.0 but at least school days had a legendary satisfying ending that made up for how awful everyone was. This kinda gave everyone a pass and at the very least they came out of it as better people but really didn't have any redeeming qualities of everyone involved. Just a terrible story of terrible characters being terrible to each other. |

So many people in this comment thread keep going on and on about how realistic this was. Like, have none of these guys lived life before? This isn't realism, this is just idiocracy. It's just a bunch of terrible people taking advantage of each other, and getting shit tier endings. There's nothing realistic about making non-stop stupid life decisions. There wasn't even any serious character grown. It's just a depressing story for the sake of being a depressing story. |

vlaine said: Le sigh... this anime was like a hard slap in the face. to get this out the way, my rating for it is 8/10. i liked the story, but i disliked most of the characters, which makes sense i guess. it's not called scum's wish for nothing. that said, atsuya and sanae are probably the greatest wingmen in the story. but ill get into that later. starting from the people i like the least though, i've got mugi sitting at the top of the list. this man had all the knowledge he needed to avoid the worst possible outcome [his own, at least] and instead, failed on every single front. the worst thing about him though, is how he clearly knows this, and refuses to even resist his own stupidity. it got to the point of stupidity where i stopped caring about the guy by the end of episode 10. he knew who he wanted was the worst person to choose, and he still chose her. now i don't like dishonest characters like akane, but i can at least respect them. mugi, goes beyond this, into full-on stupidity. he not only had 2 (possibly 3) other potential people he could have made something meaningful with, but he burned the fuck out of all of those bridges for the one guaranteed to burn on it's own. (still friends with the 3 i assume, but the point stands). this man is just about everything i dislike about standard MC's, with few, if any of the redeeming qualities that said generic MC's. not even the generic personality. he failed on every front, and the only thing liable to keep him afloat romantically (unless he learned something from this lesson, which i believe he did) is his good looks. his ending, was his choice, he knew what he was asking for, he got what he asked for, and he deserved what he got. the next person on the list, is actually a tie between akane and takuya, both of whom are the types of personality that i personally despise in real life. to start, takuya, he's bascally a somewhat lower tier, male form of akane, the dude clearly thinks with nothing but his balls, and while it works -for- his character, it does him -as- a character, no service. he's simply a man who can't get who he wants, so he instead went for every other woman possible. a great character, and yes, realistic, but a somewhat shit person. following that though, is the alpha bitch herself, akane. akane is the kind of woman who deserves little, if anything that she gets, but receives it anyways, because she is beautiful. she's knowingly fucked over (and fucked over) no less than 4 characters in this series, clearly takes joy in breaking relationships, and corrupted just about everybody who came into contact with her. pretty sure anybody past 25 (maybe past 20) has met that kind woman in real life, and the saddest thing about this story, is that this ending, is exactly how many of those women have ended up in real life. married to a man who deserves better, and likely to fuck said man over in the ensuing years simply because they can (applies to takuya as well, to a lesser extent) my dislike of her stems from who she is as a person, how she so cleanly escapes karma, and how her growth is portrayed in contrast to how she's acted up until that point. it's the most rosy ending, for what is clearly the most corrupt person in the cast. no offense to those who think different, but you can't turn a ho into a housewife, nor is the thot process that simple to break. kanai, while happy with what he's getting, deserves somebody who isn't liable to cheat on him in the next 5-10 years. speaking of captain cuck, he's next on the list. i have nothing against him really, i just don't much like how he's portrayed as the perfect guy, he's basically all the redeeming traits of the generic romcom MC that mugi lacked, with enough forgiveness to give jesus a run for his money. dude's busted in the head man, with a mother complex that's keeping him attached to the worst character (personality wise) in the show. it's not healthy for him, and it kind of saddens me that he gets the jizzy end of the stick in his relationship. dudes fucked in the heard, but he at least deserves somebody better. after that, comes hanabi, it's not that i don't like her, but that the rest of the people below are that much better imo. and honestly, i don't have too much to say about the people below, or hanabi herself. she's the person i rooted for the most, and she had the most growth in the story, bar possibly akane (who's growth was less rewarding for me, on account of how fake it could turn out down the line). she dealt with the same temptations as the rest of the cast, but unlike the above characters, she slowly learned how better to fight it, how to make up her own mind, and how to value herself without the eyes/ touch of another person. she's more complete than the characters above, and doesn't really realize it until the final episode of the anime. her relationship with mugi went down the drain, but while i was shipping them at first, in the end, i'm glad hanabi didn't get with mugi, not just for her sake, but for his sake as well. there was the point in the middle where they both could have made something of themselves together, but once that point passed, mugi lost his shot at all options, and hanabi was too far ahead of him in personal growth for such a relationship to even be worth shipping. she's the 2nd core of the show alongside akane, but she's the core that made it out without having to trap herself between the wheels. then we've got noriko, aka moca. who's one of the least developed, but one of the most stable of the main characters in the show. she came in as the annoying sheltered princess in love, but in the short amount of time she got, she took the hurt and rejection, turned it into motivation to do better, and by the last episode, became the 2nd best girl in the show for me. she's still 99% the same girl she was at the start, but she learned, rather quickly, how to grow on her own. she failed her main goal, but she made it through the anime with fewer scars than just about anyone else, and learned from them way faster than anybody else. which brings me to my favorite 2 people in the anime sanae, and (by extention) her cousin atsuya. sanae and atsuya are the closest things to a wingman this anime has, and their use in the last few episodes exemplifies this perfectly (though i do believe atsuya was shoehorned in rather clumsily). sanae, realizes from the start that her desired ship's gonna sink, and while she knows this, all too well, she tries, for a short while, to keep it afloat, culminating in her breakdown, and acceptance that she'll never be able to get with hanabi. at which point, she vanishes from the anime, but not from the narrative. she's reintroduced this episode, in the best way possible. she knew she couldn't handle her ship sinking, and instead of fucking it up further, she takes some much needed time off, to reform herself, so that she can handle her own feelings, all the while pushing hanabi to do something similar, she's the good friend every character in this series needed (aside from the yuri anyways), but didn't have. and my personal favorite of the group. she kind of had the same problems as captain cuck at the start, but as the story progressed, she realized, with minimal help, that she was not only hurting herself, but that she couldn't really help, or even remain near, her best friend, the way she was, choosing for herself, to change, and adapt. which is where her cousin, atsuya came in, he was basically the shoehorn to tip the scales of the story, and while that's not the best of writing, it achieved the desired results, and resulted in one of the better characters of the series being created. his advice, and his personality, were both selfish, but they had the hints of wingman needed, to help both hanabi and sanae get over their own individual problems. not too much to say for him outside of that, but he earned his spot next to sanae at the top, simply for being (arguably) the least broken person in the series. aside from the characters though, the artwork, and style of the anime, were both very well done, and the soundtrack is well made as well, fitting the tone and pace of the series with each arrangement. so did i enjoy Kuzu no honkai? not really, it was more of a "why am i subjecting myself to this?" than it was a ride of enjoyment. but i did appreciate it. i appreciated the divergence from the standard style of story, because among all the lovey dovey stories you see every day in anime, it's still somewhat refreshing to see something not end the way you want or expect it too. and for all the complaints i may have about who did what (or who), or who didn't do what (or who), i did at least, have something to think about. I agree! On everything , is almost like you took every thought i have that i didnt know how to express and put It in words ...btw i know a woman like the teacher bitch and she is Happy married to a Guy that deserve better hahahahhaha And yes more than enjoying this anime was most like "i already invest so much time (7epis) now i need to know how they are going to end this mess |

Whew, glad that im finally over with this series. The ending fit very well with the rest of the show, not saying that it was very satisfying. The only meaning these people seemed to drive from love is how to have the best orgasm or something but thats ok for teenagers and that seemed to change at the end so i guess the ending was happy in that respect. So in the end i dont think that this anime was realistic or a realistic portrayal of love, rather it took one aspect of it that is lust and turned it up to 11. The characters truly throughout the series became scum and I liked that at the end they tried to distance themselves from it. i think hanabi and mugi tried to distance themselves not just from each other but from the whole cycle of temporary gratification followed by despair and loneliness. Who knows maybe in the future if they still want to be together (in the end they said that they wanted to be together) and have successfully got a grip on their emotions/ made something of themselves, they might still meet and it would definitely have more meaning, idk. I think the author themself got confused that giving this end seemed much more optimistic and not what they wanted to go for in the first place. overall id say it was maybe 7/10 ish. |

I just finished the anime. I am literally not fond of cheating so when I first saw Ms. Akane being like "that", I felt I want to drop it like that. Still, I endured and finished the anime. And the end, I can say "true love" and "acceptance" really change a person. I hope this anime can get a sequel regarding the two newlywed couple teachers. I wish no NTR for all anime. *starts praying* |

This finale pretty much resembles the whole anime. It was dull and random. The only thing it lacked was that degenerated sex scenes all the time as if it was a hentai of some sort. The only good things about this anime were nice art, beautifully drawn eyes of all characters, good voice acting and music ('specially the ending song). The rest was mediocre at best, but generally it was bad. Random situations, unnecessary sex scenes all the time in the first episodes, weird pacing and that immature philosophy and thoughts that could take even half of an episode. Hell, this whole anime was so immature. I'm glad it's over. I was bored for most of the time. |

While i undoubtedly adored the series, this last episode quite left me hanging. I know it would be quite basic to be so but i'd want to see Mugi and Hana ending up together. Since they went through so much,i think it would be more fair for them to be together. However,i did enjoy their words when they let go saying they don't need to be saved anymore. Realistic enough... |

This series really is amazing... its bitter sweet and just plain sad honestly... Through this whole series I felt so bad for hana and It did sting when mugi and hana decide to let go because I felt they truly understood each other and had a deep feeling of connection... But in the end that's not what scums wish is all about and the true meaning is sad... I cried all throughout this anime and it is now one of my favorites because of how realistic it is... |

the animation was on point, cannot complain. But the story felt somewhat unrealistic and absurd sometimes. Glad it got this bittersweet ending too, was kinda disappointed Hanabi and Mugi did not end up together, I thought they cared about each other, but yeah, it is probably the right thing for them. |

I like the ending. I feel it is realistic that they didn't end up with each other after everything that has happened. Just like in real life, they are still in highschool and there's still a lot of time for them to find real love or maybe they'll end up together again in the future, who knows? 8/10 |

I see many coments of people who felt like they were led to believe in Mugi x Hanabi ending, and bought it and they are disappointed. And that just sounds so weird to me... imo the ending was one of the best endings I have ever watched for a "romance/psychological" anime. I think that we are lead to be confused about Mugi x Hanabi, like they are confused about it. But not lead to fully believe in it. Both of them account for this option too and give it some thought, but it turns out they luckily realise along the way that this is not the relationship they really want. There's a layer throughout the whole series about their evolution, and it's presented almost literally in many scenes. Sure, it can be subtle as well, but it is SOOOO in your face most of the time... It's not a show about two innocent teenagers who believe in pure love and bullshit, they know better than that since first episode's minute 0. So why are you surprised that at the end they are mature enough to not do the thing they don't wanna do? Anyway, just writing my thoughts. No offense to other opinions. Also, I see lots of people who felt this was a depressing show to watch. Comments such as "it's so good but it hurts to watch it". I mean... "depressing" is not the word, at least not for me. Sure it is sad in some ways, but go watch some comedy if you're not up for emotional intensity. I watched Kuzu no Honkai with really low expectations at first, but on episode 3 or 4 I was expecting it to be great by default. And I feel like it delivered. It actually got better. I empathised a lot with almost all the characters, and sure there are some really sad moments, but the journey was one of personal growing, i feel. For the characters, and also for the viewer. It made me realise some deep things about my own feelings. I evolved with the characters, in a way. Made me question my understanding of love and loneliness and human interactions, and didn't give me an answer (the anime gives the audience some credit by not offering any clear answer and let them try to figure it by themselves). But it gave me something to love in exchange: the anime itself. |

I love Hanabi. It was great anime and I liked the ending because it wasn't a cliche but a mature meaningful one with a message. I just wanted to see her happy in the end though. I'm sad that I couldn't get that. I will miss Hana-chan. I really want to see more of her. I wish there was a continuation where she's happy. I think I will rewatch this anime just because I want to see kirei Hana-chan again. |

Well, it was an interesting anime. I wasn't expecting much, and received a thought-provoking story. After all, the characters had to go their separate ways. Plot was very focused on monologues into their minds, and sometimes it became a bit repetitive, but it's fine. The soundtrack was fit, and the design was somber and a bit nostalgic. After all, the story made me interested and focused, so I'm gonna give it a 7. |

So I just finished watching this series for a 3rd tine and honestly it was incredible. The presentation including both the visuals and the music were superb with some truly breathtaking artistry and directing on display in several scenes. The actions of all the major characters made sense given their life experiences, objectives and values in particular none of them including the moments where the characters weren't being rational felt contrived or just there for the sake of advancing the story. Furthermore, all of them had very satisfying resolutions to their character arcs and Akane's in particular was brilliantly done. In general you have to be willing to bare with some very atypical morality in order to properly empathize with the characters and their mindset, and this is most true in Akane's case. I was truly moved by how someone with such an atypical and, as far as most would be concerned, morally unacceptable set of values was able to find someone who was willing to love and accept them for exactly who they are including all of the supposed ugliness inside and form a truly genuine connection with them resulting in sincere growth on her part. It's clear to me that after at most a few 'tests' Akane would give up on her former life style due to how much more fulfilling her connection with Kanai is by comparison. Rather than only resulting from openly being able to display the specifics of your true inner self, it's the freedom to openly be yourself in front of someone without them judging you that can be so comforting, and Akane through being given that sense of comfort was able to blossom into a far more internally beautiful person as a result. I frankly think dismissing this series as a mere 'edgy teen drama' is an extreme disservice for what it manages to accomplish both artistically and in terms of character writing quality. It was a truly unique and satisfying experience that kept me thoroughly engaged throughout. |

Mugi not getting with Hanabe hurt at the exact moment he got together with Akane. From then on I couldn't have cared less about the kid. I believe Akane changed and understands that her actions hurt people so she stopped her slut ways (and not because she stopped wanting to do it). Hanabe learned a lesson and she has whole life ahead of her. Really solid ending (considering events that led to it) 8/10 |

7/10, I was thoroughly entertained, but probably not for the reasons the author intended. |

Ah, just thought I'd take a peak here, been a while since I watch this but considering a re-watch. I just wanna say that I love how things ended. Some thoughts crossed my mind and a bit of sadness that Hanabi & Mugi didn't end up together, but that wouldn't have been all that great from a narrative sense, and debatable even from a realistic one (maybe in future, who knows, but story's over). So this was appropriate. Now as for Akane, I just wanna say that this woman was probably my favorite character of the show, she's just pure entertainment whenever she's on screen. I just love how unapologetic she is ~ she's bored of the mundane usual life and wants to spice things up, and she does just that. Now, she is scummy obviously, BUT she also doesn't really seek any permanent relationship. She's definitely not relationship material unless she'd change (maybe she will, who knows), but she's probably one of the best experiences for single guys. Once they have their fling with her, they should now learn not to be desperate for girls because of sex, thus look for more than that, pay more attention to personality. It's a problem when cheating's involved of course, but then again, if a dude falls for Akane's temptations his mental is also proven to be weak, for those who don't, great, they're already strong on the mental. Akane will basically be a fuck-buddy, while there are people out there who are in toxic relationships, with emotionally abusive partners, and when those fall apart, especially after years, that's when true MAJOR negative consequences arrive. With Akane that doesn't happen, she has her fun, the guy has fun, and over. It'll cause some hurt feelings for the guys she's dating if they get too attached (and some definitely will) but they'll get over it, that experience will wisen them up, and they won't suffer any real consequences in life unlike from a bad, fairly long actual relationship. Now, as for Narumi marrying Akane welp, I suppose calling him a true cuck would be fair. But considering how he is, this can be good for him too. Either Akane changes, or he'll also get a much needed lesson. It's just that, if it's the lesson route, I'd hope that he doesn't lose too much since he actually married her. Anyway yea, Akane Best girl in this series, she's what makes it truly stand out & be as entertaining. |

i like how in this episode they show that mugi was able to change hanabi but not akane in the last episode. sometimes your words change someone without you noticing and sometimes no matter how hard you try you are not able to change a person with your words. welp, it was quite a ride, ups and downs, annoying and pleasant, happy and sad times. while i don't agree with the decisions the characters make, it's what happens in real life too, the side we know but don't wanna talk about. enjoyed the series as a whole and damn i like the ed very much. the ending was also bittersweet. |

Why did hanabi and Mugi decide to not to be with each other, despite there was kind of feelings growing for each other??? Is it because the pact they did??? |

hardest watch of a well adapted series I've seen to date. props to the cast and studio for adapting it so well into an anime. definitely not for everyone since the story might be a bit too heavy but definitely well made nonetheless. |
