| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, that's the reality of outdoors camping. It gets cold outside when the weather hits. I love the atmospheric style of this episode though with the degree of realism. It's a good thing they kept themselves warm and have food on hands. |

| Underestimating the weather can end up costing your life, luckily the girls got help from others and things worked out. It was also nice of the teacher to come looking for them tho it's was part of her job as well. Rin being worried and notifying the teacher was also a good thing. The girls did have fun tho and the learned a valuable lesson which is a good thing. |
| They relax in their new chairs! also I liked when Chiaki lent her chair to Ena. The temperature of Lake Yamanaka at night is -15 C, it must be very cold! Finally I can see Minami sensei when she is drunk. Nadeshiko also wants to do solo camp like Rin? this will be interesting! |

| Our comfy camping nearly turns out to be deadly camping. Staying outside without firewood in -15 C is really insane. Mobile phone battery draining problem always be the problem in the colder area especially in the campsite that could be hard to find some electrical socket. Toba sensei is a very nice sensei, she really cares about her students. Yamanakako is not that close but she drove to the lake immediately when she heard the news. The nabe party and the sunrise at the ending are really great. Nadeshiko wants to do solo camping looks very interesting. Wonder where would she go. |

| I love seeing the side girls get dedicated episodes and shine. That sunrise at the end was so damn cozy. Next time check the weather ahead of time! Lol. Got out of it this time, but could’ve been deadly. Can’t wait for Nadeshiko episode next week. |

| Looks like all three of them are enjoying the camping at Lake Yamanaka. But oh no... looks like Aki forgot to look for the weather at Lake Yamanaka. It got really cold, but luckily they were able to keep themselves warm enough. It can be really cold in the winters. |

| That's true, Aki is a kind girl. Sitting on a lazy chair on such place really does look so comfying. Also drinking delicious cocktail, chatting with them besties, what a bless. Camping inside of a camp in a cold temperature, eating a hotpot, meeting kind peoples. Also a very joyous experience. Kudos to Sensei for worrying about them and going all out, also to Rin for seeking help for their safety. Sensei is kinda cute there, ngl.  And aww man, these smiles, in the end, really melt my heart. A very good episode wholely, truly enjoyable and comfy.  |

| Don't underestimate winter camping or it can be lethal, lesson learned. That said this was yet another fun camping trip. It did turn a bit hectic midway through but thnx to the oneesan and oji chan the girls had a good time till the end. Their sensei is really sweet, I love how worried she was for them. Drunk sensei was cute too. Next episode it's time for Nadeshiko solo camp planning, looking forward to her solo camp. |

| I was curious so I look it up but it is possible for a phone's battery to drain faster during the winter season or cold temperature in general. Kudos for Rin for noticing the temperature drop and notifying their advisor in case. Nadeshiko solo camp next. That can turn out really good or bad. |

| Hmm the compact chair and the hammock sure was excellent additions to their gear. The area around their camp though sure is beautiful and perfect for hobbyists. They sure didn't do adequate weather research for Lake Yamanaka though. Its fortunate that they met some friendly campers though. The sun rising out of the winter sky though sure was pretty. While things were a bit close in the end its good that they were able to enjoy their time at lake Yamanaka. But still Nadeshiko solo camping huh that should be interesting to see. |

| The Outdoor Adventure Club has finally made their first tent on Cape Ohmama at Lake Yamanaka, that's great! Time to set up the other stuff with instruction manuals. Anything and everything you can do with winter lakeside camping...just don't use your phone in cold weather, otherwise the battery drains fast. Otherwise, soak in with the RC plane hobbyists and all. It's heat packets and hot pot (plus sake) to the rescue, but the tone changing from a winter camp to a death camp. Thankfully the woman with the dog they met earlier in the day provided a safe haven. Apparently Sensei was so worried from Rin's replies, the lesson learned about winter camping aside, it's nice to have someone be their advisor and confidante. Another enjoyable and cold but comfy episode, Nadeshiko's solo camping next. |

| This episode did a really good job at showing how being unprepared for camping in a cold location like Lake Yamanaka can be very serious and potentially life threatening. Chiaki, Ena and Aoi were loving their time by the lake, relaxing on the deck chairs while watching nature around them as well as the RC planes flying around from the hobbyists, but reality did hit them soon enough. The equipment they brought wasn't suited for really cold camping as not only did the trio not check the weather forecast before their trip, but they grossly underestimated just how quickly a smartphone battery depletes in the cold, as well. The trio learnt a good lesson here, but at least they had a really nice neighbouring duo that welcomed them for a hotpot party, along with Sensei who checked in after getting a worried text from Rin. Even here, she can't turn down a chance to get smashed from having sake. XD It was the right thing for the group to stay in Sensei's car, leaving the engine running overnight to keep the insides all warm. Here we were blessed with more scenery porn as the sun rose over Lake Yamanaka. Every scenery shot is worthy of a wallpaper on a computer screen. =-3 Overall, this episode was really comfy, but also reminded us that camping can be dangerous if you go in totally unprepared and lacking any research beforehand. I do look forward to the next episode, as Nadeshiko told Rin she wants to try solo camping for the first time ever. It'll make up for the lack of Nadeshiko screentime, as well! X3 |
| Again, so wholesome and comfy! The dangers of being underprepared for camping was really nicely shown in this epiosde, never underestimate the winter, wherever you are. A wise lesson learned for the 3 of them! Was nice to see sensei as well again and no surprise there, whenever she gets on screen there's one way or another she'll end up drunk XD This is perfect!!!  |

| Aki's little slip-up almost turned their camping experience into a Discovery's survival show but fortunately, they met that kind couple who let them stay at their tent. Still, kudos to Toba-sensei for traveling all the way to make sure they were okay. Also to Rin for worrying about her friends' safety. So Nadeshiko wants to do solo camping like Rin, huh? |

| I feel like this ep was more of an educational tip about camping which was a good thing My grandparents in Japan had a dog named Choko aswell but I think it was for chocolate, can't remember but he passed away a few years back |
| Arguably one of the heaviest episodes of the entire series. It gave a really important lesson about the reality of camping and how being under prepared could be really dangerous. Luckily they got some help from fellow campers, and even Sensei actually gave a shit about them for the first time. Overall cute and heartwarming. Chiaki's makeshift hammock seems to be a success too! |
| One of the better episodes this season. I liked how they actually showed some of the dangers involved with winter camping. All of them eating in the neighbor’s tent was a nice moment. |
| Another lovely episode of this relaxing show. Though, in that sense, this was the least relaxing episode so far in how things almost took a very dark turn at Lake Yamanaka. The show has previously alluded to the potential dangers of winter camping, so to see that be paid off with this episode feels like an important moment for the series to have. The girls are fortunate that Rin cares about them enough to get Toba-sensei to check and make sure they're safe; a very sweet demonstration of their friendship, and of Toba-sensei growing to care for the girls after initially being reluctant to be their club's advisor at all. And next is one of my favourite parts of the entire manga: Nadeshiko's solo camping experience, and how the other characters react to it. Can't wait to see that section of the manga animated. |
| They never said it was -15, just that it could go as low as it some times? I have slept outdoors without a tent in -20 when in the army, was no problem with the correct gear. Gear is the important thing not the temperature. Have also slept in a tent in -1 with the wrong gear and was really cold. A sleeping bag with +7c comfort temp will keep you alive down to about -6c. Any way, why did the RC plane guy and girl not share the tent with them, seems really strange to me. I like the episode don't get me wrong, I just find it strange how they solved the cold weather problem. She ran to a store, why could she not charge her phone there or borrow a phone. Maybe they do sell blankets or any other warm fabrics. As I said earlier why could they not stay in the big tent with a stove? |

| This must have been the single most stressful episode of Yuru Camp ever.....but hey, if it would end with motsunabe and sake, I wouldn't mind a bit of cold either.... (though I would prefer warm umeshu in such conditions) |
| Well that was a lovely episode despite being a "disaster" episode. Good Girl Aki running to the convenience store to save her friends, the people sharing their tent, Toba-sensei coming to the rescue... All that said, though, as a New Englander, -15C isn't all that cold. That's not even below zero in Fahrenheit. Sure, it's not the most comfortable temperature to sleep in but with the winter sleeping bags, the blankets, the coats and the heaters, they would have been fine. Ok, Ena might have died since she's cold-blooded but Aoi and Aki would have been fine. |

Although this was when I still worked in the Swedish army with experienced people who actually knew how to keep a small wood stove going, which is read hot so you have to lie on your sleeping bag and not in it :P In comparison to the conscript year where people would force in way too large logs, suffocating the fire thus leaving it at a low smolder resulting in a very cold and damp tent... |

| This has definitely been the most high-stakes episode so far! So glad Rin texted sensei! The texts at the end thanking her for worrying about them made me tear up! But this show makes me cry happy tears almost every episode :’) Can’t wait to get more Nadeshiko next week! |
| Shizuka Ito (Toba sensei).. I love your voice so much!! Aki is great in this episode. Great scenery! Hahaha! I know too well how cold affects the battery. Need to keep spare camera batteries in my pocket and keep swapping. |
| Hah, I think twice about going out when the temperature gets into the single digits, let alone negative. I guess having lived in warmer/hot temperatures for all my life, trying to stay outside in -15C especially at night is almost unthinkable. Great episode as always, wholesome, fun and sweet. |

| Rin is such a good friend worrying about the trio. If without her and Toba-sensei and the neighbour campers saving the girls, it would literally be a death camp. I like how real this episode is with camping under-prepared. I never done camping before but I can still imagine how it would be like at -15C (my home country is like -20 or below in winters). Next time Nadeshiko is planning to try solo camping, wish her succeed! |

| I've camped in weather that cold a couple times, though honestly I can't say it was really worth it. With the right gear, it really isn't an issue. I still remember one camp with our scout troop where a very small, skinny kid was absolutely freezing. We were keeping a conversation going in part to make sure he was still fine, when suddenly another kid lets out a small scream and starts hurling hand warmers left and right across the tent. He'd been trying to go to sleep when he realized he was too warm because he had 10+ hand warmers in his sleeping bag. We gave a few to the cold kid and everything turned out fine! |

| A relaxing way to start a new day with a cup of coffee and the new episode of Yuru Camp△. :) Drunk sensei is always a hilarious sight, lol. It's time for Nadeshiko to seriously start planning her solo camp. |
