| I loved the 1st season, but disliked this first ep of 2nd If i recall been already a recap. It wasnt necessary the one from the start. I feel the all ep missed something. The opening and end is not on my style so ya, but op visuals were okay. |

| This anime is just such a chill watch, something nice and mellow... like even the fight scenes are somehow just chill too haha Rimuru said that he instigated the fight between the two nations parties, but that is just not true; what leader and their subordinates would just stand and have someone who is supposed to be coming to make amicable relations hurl insults and them and their nation? That tiger girl was asking for a fight! |

Watched season 1 only a few days ago, and was underwhelmed by the ending. Glad to know we're off to an explosive start to season 2! Also, heard that this season will be better than the last, looking forward to that! |
| Stepped away when that recap nonsense was going on, it was totally unnecessary and not even done well either. Hopefully not too much more time spent on students either and back to more adventures. |
| So Rimuru is Kirby after all... Without joking around, great to see Rimuru back again. Still has the same vibes as the first season. The irony is real that Rimuru said that they didn't want to fight and what does he do, instigated a fight. Funny guy sometimes. Shion was holding her own nicely against that tiger woman. She should never be underestimated. Fun start again, can't wait to see more of Jura Tempest and it's world building. |

| Ummmm, seriously, I don’t get it: Why are people complaining about the choppy animation style during the fights?? How did those same people not have a problem with something like Devilman Sleepb—, I mean, Crybaby’s equally choppy animation, even calling it S tier art or something? The biasedness too real to a point of impracticality in opinions. If someone wants to make a legit and justified complaint, then bitch about the supposedly “low stakes” lighthearted tone (I guess, even though it’s actually intentional to begin with), the OPedness of the MC, or the loli/ harem bait stuff. |

| Lol, i've watched the Recap and now starting the 1st episode... another short recap? My God they really want the audience don't forget about 1st season. EDIT (after watching the rest) ...even so i completely forgot who is Demon Carrion and who are that 4 humans impersonating heroes. |

| Well,I knew it was going to be at least as good as the first season,but damn!!!!!! The animation is superb as usual,the opening theme was good,but Stereo Dive Foundation(R.O.N) knocked it out of the park with that ED,so damn catchy. Anyways,if this is how the season starts,I hope it goes on at least on the same level(though I don't doubt it will). Another thing,was is just me or does this season look like its going to be more,erm,colourful? That episode was so damn bright,and the whole way through it just seemed more "jaunty" to me. Loved every second of it. And also loved Rimuru going "Sonic" mode during the ED,that was hilarious! And the bit where he was impersonating the tableware. Oh,and the bit where Shion and Shuna were trying to get him to wear those dresses,and the samurai outfit :) |

| welp the better one of these shows is back, okay start more of a refresher ,none of the music has topped the last season for me personally but their aright. i see Rimuru is following in the great leader ways of do as i say not as i do lol.. granted they did kinda start it this wasn't really the most diplomatic way right after meeting. |

| I liked season 1 but was not crazy about it, but this first episode of season 2 has reminded me how fun this series is to watch lol, even if this is also apparently a side story, I’m enjoying it so I look forward to episode 2! |
| Glad to have this back. It's one of the isekai's I enjoyed and I'm hoping S2 is just as good. Don't really have much to say but I kinda wish Rimuru had shown those Dark Lord commanders who's boss when they showed up instead of having the others fight them. |

| A whole lot of nothing to start off the season. Classroom scene with nothing of importance. Then a REALLY LONG AND SLOW recap... Why did they have a recap episode and then put a recap in this? I skipped the recap for a reason. Then a speech where he says the goal is not to fight. Then he starts a fight... Didn't they do the whole "delegates show up, they make fun of Rimuru, a fight breaks out" toward the end of S1, as well? Felt like a copy/paste setup. Looking forward to better eps from now on, though. |
| This show is phenomenal and I'm glad it's back. I really love this worldbuilding. But Mary Sue as a protagonist is literally the worst thing that can happen to a show. |

| what a way to start the season, getting diplomatic and fighting, honestly some of my favourite things about this series has to offer. Great to see the whole Tempest Gang again, missed them tbh. Animation quality still looks amazing, we got a decent amount of action this ep, and honestly they were really smooth and fluid in terms of animation. All in all the visuals haven't changed that much from season 1, which is good cus they are pretty fucking good. SFX in this series as a whole, has overall always been good. They've really managed to nail the realism in their SFX of things like the ground breaking or swords hitting swords. OP is pretty ok, but that ED for me is a fucking jam. Really like it a lot, unsurprisingly as i didn't even realise it was a Stereo Dive Foundation song until looking it up, i absolutely love a lot of their works. Looking forward to the rest of season 2, this season keeps getting better and better tbh |

| Really glad this show is back. One of the few isekai anime that I really liked. Seeing Rimuru on those girly outfits was cute. Good episode overall. Can't wait for more! |

| Pretty good start to the 2nd season. Of course everything wasn't going to go according to script, lol. Rimuru's realisation and confession in the end was pretty hilarious. Also, just a month away until retirement as a teacher, I'm guessing things will seriously go down around that time. Pretty cool ED too, love my Stereo Dive Foundation music! |

| I appreciate all of the recapping since I felt like I had forgotten a lot of stuff. Although it's a bit weird with how they are starting this. I remember the previous season ended with Rimuru leaving the students but now they seem to be backtracking? I guess they skipped some stuff in the previous season from the source material that they couldn't afford to and now we have this awkward beginning. It was still an interesting enough first episode. I found it funny how quick Rimuru was to start a fight despite all of his talk of peace. Not that any of this will lead to any sort of war. |

| One of my most anticipated shows this Winter season is underway! The small recap was needed to remind ourselves for the adventures Rimuru has gone through so far, but the rest of the episode felt very enjoyable, which is what I expected from this series. =3 Nice comedy moments, a little dash of fanservice and also some solid fighting animation involving Shion, which was really good. I do hope she wins her side of the fight. The OP from True was really good, but the ED song from Stereo Dive Foundation is also impressive, too. The laidback and catchy beat of the song matched the animation focus on Rimuru, Shion and Milim (best girl =P) nicely. |

So when Rimuru came back and named all new Goblins, Rimuru gave the former Goblin Village Chiefs similar names to Rigurd and declared them to be Goblin Lords, while Rigurd himself became the Goblin King (the anime very briefly mentioned that back in S1 in EP6). This guy's name is Rogurd and at this point he is Tempest's Minister of Administration. The little guy next to him is likewise a former Goblin Village Chief who joined at the same time and that one's name is Regurd, Minister of Legislation. |
