Also a big thank you to Foxyclaws for picking out amazing manga that I may have never found looking by myself. One of which was practically a perfect manga for me. | Thanks, everyone involved in the event for all your hard work, and ofcoarse for hosting it. This was my first time participating and I've only joined MAL last year, about 5-6 months ago. I haven't seen much anime yet or have read that much manga, so it would've been difficult for me to recommend anything to anyone, so I think it was a great idea to do 'Elf gifts', it allowed new people like me to participate too. And thanks a lot @Stardew and @einon for your recommendations, I really enjoyed them, and to everyone who put their time and effort into making it a success. |

I enjoyed Till Our Lips Touch a lot too. I have only read a few webcomics in the past so it's really nice to revisit them again. It was such a simple but beautiful tale about their love and I loved that. The scene where Seb walks in on Isaac naked tho, slips on the soap and lands on top of Isaac had me HOWLING LMAO too funny. I'm now reading another Korean webcomic called When a Yakuza Falls in Love, it's so ridiculous but it's like my guilty enjoyment at the moment haha Finally, I have read a Hinata/Kageyama doujin set in the omegaverse and didn't realise this was it's whole own subgenre until now!! I'm not sure if omegaverse is up there on my favourite genres list but it was actually quite a nice read. I enjoyed the art style so it's a shame that there doesn't seem to be any more BL done by this mangaka yet. I think the thing that would make this manga better for me would be to explore Naoto's rape at a more physiological level and I realise this is something I should add to my likes next time. It's cool that this event has made me think about what I enjoy in a manga more deeply. Also I loved the presentation of your message thank you! I feel bad for my gift receiver who got a plain black wall text, I'll definitely be taking inspiration from you next time ^_^ Thanks so much again~~ @Limbo-chan omg I'm sosooo happy you like your gift!! But it was worth the wait every time hehe~ And yes omegaverse isn't for everyone, but I think there are a few hidden gems in that subgenre :3 But i agree about the more psychological approach, that would've been nice :) I'm really happy that we seem to share quite a few interests in BL, so this rec was such an enjoyment to write xd <3 Hope you had a good start into the new year~ |

Thank you for the detailed descriptions of your letter, it seemed so sweet and considerate (❁´◡`❁) I had started those two anime some time ago, Hachimitsu to Clover and Welcome to NHK !, but I only watched 2 or 3 episodes :( which by the way, I really liked them a lot. In both cases, I considered that it was not the right time to see them, so that I started to delay too much haha That is why I will no longer have excuses to delay their viewing, although at this time for various reasons I could not begin to see them, but soon I will get to it Hope you had a good start to the year :) btw i speak spanish so i hope my english is not so bad. Now on to the recs! @rubylily recommended hanayamata I've been having a good time with this one, it's a nice one episode at a time watch. There seems to be more to it than your basic cgdct as well which is nice, the jealousy conflict was surprisingly true to my experiences in high school. I look forward to finishing it soon! thanks! @Jo_March recommended Mitama Security. I'm enjoying this one as well, it's a light read and it's grown on me quite a bit. It surprised me with its ability to balance humor and heart while maintaining a pretty consistent tone. thanks! |
