| Damn, what a great start! The comedy scenes were absolutely on point, but you can't lie to me, i can see the feels in the future :/ Stop this while we still have time. I do wonder why she refused him..  This scene tho! 10/10 |

| P.A. Works, KEY and Jun Maeda. This has been one of my most anticipated shows for the Fall season, and I can say that I was NOT disappointed one bit, AT ALL. In fact, this episode just has promise after promise, I'm VERY stoked! The "self-proclaiming" omniscient Odin god Hina Sato (voiced by the ever-loving Ayane Sakura) sure is loud and obnoxious towards not-so-MC Youta, and is Jun Maeda levels of humour done recognisably well, as to be expected. That's the happy part, not to mention full-on hilarious banter between Hina and Youta. It wouldn't be a Jun Maeda anime if there's no baseball at all, totally reminiscent of Angel Beats and Charlotte. But Youta following on Hina's future predictions is just too funny on a loose face. Press F for Youta in pursuit of his childhood friend Izanami, to be friendzoned and rejected straightaway LOLs, the childhood friend "unrequited love" romance always ends in tragedy. OOF THAT GOTTA HURT HARD MAN. This ride is just the beginning...continue to amaze me! |

| Oh wow, for some reason I didn't watch it on its release but I have to say that it's one of my favorite first episodes of this season, I loved it! Ayaneru voicing another cute waifu? Hell yeah! Odin is so damn cute <3. I love Ayaneru's voice so much, that "love" was excellent lmao. I also love how expressive Odin is, the animation really helps in this aspect. It's interesting how it's credible that Odin is a goddess with all those predictions but at the same time drops very human information about her like her last name or the train route to get home. Then you have Youta's mom who seems to know her somehow, I wonder why. Pretty fun and interesting first episode, I love this show already. |
| This was fun and tropey in the usual ways, but if it wasn't Maedashit I probably wouldn't be excited. I love how the MC starts off playing basketball then transitions to baseball because basketball is the wrong start. It was almost, ALMOST on the cusp of being a meta joke. |

| I KNEW stupid people here would bitch about Charlotte (which is a fine series and not rushed at all) even though this board is not about Charlotte. STFU with the Charlotte hate already. IT WAS FINE. ...something about Hina bothers me...it's her face maybe...or the shape of her eyes. She's just not as cute as I want her to be. >_> ....ah no wonder her shouting annoys me lol; it's goddamn Kirino. Enjoyable series though. Please destroy me by the end, Maeda-sensei. xD |

| Just went back and watched the dub for this episode. It's... okay. I really like Hina's voice, actually. I think it fits quite well, and her ramblings are a little less ear-screechy than in the original voiceover. Youta's voice is quite a bit deeper, but I don't mind it. Izanami's voice is... weird. I'm not sure I like it. Her tone is more sarcastic(?) rather than indifferent. The translations seemed to be pretty good. The Natsume Soseki joke probably isn't going to resonate with many western viewers, however. Some of the audio mixing was off. During many of the banter scenes, the voice clips would kind of overlap each other and become intelligible. I went to the original voiceover and there are proper voice cutoffs and mixing. |

| I like how all the places shown in this anime are actually exist and could be found easily on google map. For example they ate in this restaurant, or here is building of the library. The scenery is soothing, a sight for sore eyes but the irritating shouting of the girl all the time.. serioulsy why, what is the point of it? |

| Yota living a tough life, getting friendzoned, rejected and also dealing with a lost kid that has an identity crisis claiming that the world ends in a month. Amazing start, animation looks great and comedy is pretty funny so far. |

| Fond of the dialogue; it has wit and authenticity to its delivery. MC getting rejected by the black-haired girl was pretty funny too, for all its comedic abruptness. Suppose that's a precept against confessing to people you barely interacted with before. |
