That plants control ability is quite something...

Claw's boss wasn't joking when they were changing the world. Police are so useless in this series lol. Cool to see Dimple in action though. He still never ceases to entertain me when fighting the good fight.

Dimple's fight this episode was dope.

The only word I can think of to sum this episode
MUSCLE
I liked how Musashi was talking about Mob always being there behind them which then pushes them beyond their limits cause y'know, having someone follow you just pushes you to go even further.
Dimple kicking ass this episode, I wonder if everything will fit in with the remaining 3 eps.. damn only 3 more eps... monday's are gonna be boring again after Mob ends.
There better be a damn S3 Bones!

Lol Reigen's cologne is quite something. It was hard to see the body improvement club members getting beaten by Sibata after showing how much they care about Mob but I was glad that Musashi managed to subdue him even if he needed Ekubo's help. I liked the boss' atitude that he doesn't let anything affect his positiveness because of his own ego. He's quite the opposite of Mob who is finally awake too.

It's quite apparent but each antagonist in the series acts as a foil to Mob and a possibility of what Mob might've become. Teru was Mob if Mob never met Tsubomi (and therefore never developed an inferiority complex), and the Claw Boss is what Teru would've become if he had grown up never having met Mob.

the first scene with Minegishi encapsulates everything that's so frustrating about this show.

here you have a really top-notch cut. the composition is great, it's balanced and your eyes are directed where it needs to be for the focus of the scene to work. on top of that, the colour palette is really something else, with the colour of clothes reflected proportionally in Minegishi's plants backed by the grey derelict rubble, allowing the key figures to pop. the cut right after this is

in which these literal who characters give an unsolicited explanation of how they might have a chance against Minegishi's powers because of basically pokemon rules. this is the type of handholding baby writing that's a staple on yu-gi-oh, except it makes sense in yu-gi-oh because they're playing a card game that has rules. mob psycho is just really good art with really bad writing, and it's frustrating because it doesn't need to be this way.

That is indeed true too which makes me wonder how Teru would possibly end up if he didn't get a reality check from Mob whose policy is to not abuse his psychic powers on other people, something that he also embraced afterwards but instead lose for the first time against someone like Shimazaki.

Ishiguro (Scar Division 7 leader) is probably the closest portrayal of that possibility. Strong but still incredibly prideful; if Teru was defeated by somebody other than Mob, he wouldn't try to become stronger and instead would relish in bullying weaker psychics.

I'm sorry to break it for ya but... You missed the Ritsu's scene on your rant, which completes this scene as a joke and crumbles your rant. It seems that you forgot for a second that there is a comedy tag for this show...

Better than last episode and even if this arc's story especially claw thing isn't my liking but there was genuinely interesting moments anything with Mob and Reigen on the screen.

Oh that last fight reminds me Deku vs Muscular except this was freaking amazing as the animation is fast paced and so expressive. Now I see Body Improvement Club in different light after that manly moment.

It's a pretty common trope and not inherently problematic. It's simply adds some nuance to the fight where different abilities take advantages in their environement.
Plus that's besides the point of mob psycho. It's more about characters who are grounded in reality, even though they have psychic abilities, trying to have a normal life and growing up from entitlement and narcissim.
If you want to see nuanced/creative mechanics in supernatural abiilities you watch hunter x hunter, or jojo.

I could say this arc contains the weakest parts of the story since the slice of life aspects of this show is much more interesting and there are so many fights and fodder characters in this arc but can you really ask for more from such a great show/manga?

I dont know. For a story that has never been all that about fights (only writing wise, ofc anime creates a lot of spectacles), at this point of the story, could it suddenly make fights entertaining when there were no settings to back it up at all? And both sides are fodder characters. Do we want to see these fights dragged out more or do we want to see interesting characters to grow?

I don't understand this show sometimes, for some reason it felt like a lot of Animation aspects have been lacking and I say that full well knowing how many great things this episode showed off.

So what I'm trying to say here is, that even tho I feel like this Episodes animation kinda felt worse then the usual and even full well knowing that some animation in there is still outstanding, I feel like they are holding back a bit before the storm (Looking at the Preview, yeah seems about right).

So even when Mob is at it's lowest, it still realistically is way too high, damn this show is just amazing.

If you felt like I tried to explain what I meant poorly, then you are not alone, I also don't really get why I have this feeling.

After rewatching some scenes I have even less of a clue why I felt this episode felt like a small downgrade from the usual stuff, wtf am I saying.

Are you serious? You're still trying to be a contrarian by forcing your unsubstantiated "critique" that a show's animation is lacking or bad even with this show too? You've either only ever seen absolute masterpieces in the medium to have such vague critiques all the time or you're simply trying far too hard to try and see negative points in a show. Does it not affect your enjoyment always looking so hard to criticise something? I'm not even trying to blindly defend, it's just that you always make these sorts of comments that just seem like random attacks on a show's quality just for the sake of doing so.

There's a lot of action throughout this episode and all of them was animated with care and attention from Bones, as expected. That makes me really happy. =)

What makes me even happier was how Dimple played such a crucial role in this episode, too. The MVP himself was able to take over Mob's body so he could at least fend off Sibata for a while before making a hasty retreat.

Unfortunately, his escape to the city only made Sibata hunt him down and got the body encouragement club members involved. Thanks to dimple again, he took over the body of Musashi and the muscle fight that followed was the type of GAR that FMA's Armstrong would salute to with pride and joy. =P

Thankfully, Mob regained consciousness and finished off Sibata. That's one of the ultimate 5 down, but 4 of the group remains, along with the Claw leader himself.

I'm looking forward to the next batch of battles to come for Mob and everyone else next time. Great episode. =)
