| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, this episode was intense. I mean, Mob's powers and the theme of bullying is present. Also quite impressed by the style of the animation quality this episode. The black and white style made the episode stand out compared to some of the previous ones. Mob's bloody face is also quite noticable. The battle itself is phenomenal. |

| My god, that was incredible. The animation, the buildup to Mogami vs Mob, and basically everything in that episode made me absolutely stunned- and the sudden release of ???% made it even better. I feel like there were some more moments that needed emphasis, but that's my only nitpick. Everybody say "thank you, Studio Bones"! |

| This was an absolutely phenomenal episode. This already has the potential to become the best anime episode of the year AND the best animated episode of the year. The production over at Bones is truly spectacular. Hats off. |

| I understand manga readers (I being one myself) might get disappointed with the way they changed the arc, but I appreciate the unique direction they've taken with this episode. This was more SHAFT abstract than SHAFT could ever pull. |

| Yeah I can say this is the best episode in the series. The whole Mogami vs Mob was just phenomenal in every possible way. Mob's development has to be one of the best I have seen. |

| damn amazing sakuga episode and a lot of philosophy about how to be good or evil in this world, and ye Mob is lucky to be surrounded with supportive friends thats why he is lucky enough to be on the good side when the unknown percentage ??? self of Mob shows up i wanted to see more though too bad it ended early after that |

| The animation direction this episode took was one of the most abstract/beautiful animation I've seen in my time. I imagine the time it must've taken the animators to animate this episode and I appreciate the effort they went though to adapt most of important parts from the manga. Thank you Bones. |

| Ekubo was the best this episode. He was just too funny. lol. Shigeo turned bishounen for no reason. I missed Hanazawa. It was nice that we at least got to hear his voice. His fight with Mob is still my favourite scene from this anime. Who is creepy guy lurking in the background? Is he the guy that tried to catch Ekubo in season 1? I wonder if those rich guys will end up joining Mob's cult. lol. They have a Mob Donalds in this anime's world. hahaha! |

| This episode was great in many ways,the development of Mob and Minori and holy shit the Animation was beyond everything we saw this season so far... I hope we see a bit more of the Characters Mob helped in the Future everything else is near perfection |

| Hakuyu Go's directing for this episode was absolutely amazing and I don't think anything this year will even come close to the way this episode looks/moves. They did tone down the cruelty from the manga so Mob's reawakening felt slightly rushed but there's more than enough quality content here to make up for it imo. But I can understand why they crammed it. It would be difficult for normal audiences to sit through an entire episode of Mob suffering and wait an additional week for the pay off. But even at the very least the episode was a visual feast and it managed to stick the landing with Asagiri's apology. Can't wait for next week!! |

| They changed some stuff from the manga, but honestly I don't care, it still works. Also, the animation was 100/10. Never underestimate Dimple, only thanks to him Mob was able to win this time. |

| Holy hell WHITE T POISON IN ALL HIS GLORY (Now with animu eyes) Internet having a field day with the glorious sakuga today. And seeing Asagiri crying after realizing how horrible she was to her savior in that dream world was really touching. Also: To those not in the know, the Director, Storyboarder and Animation Director for this episode is Hakuyu Go. The young Taiwanese prodigy that also directed Fate Apocrypha's episode 22 and some of the most important scenes in MHA. This is his last animation job for now because he is going to the mandatory military service in Taiwan. This is only tragedy of the day for me. Such animation genius wasted with fucking mandatory military service |
| That was simply incredible! Holy moly! The way that Mob got treated before Dimple was able to help was a bit brutal and intense. Seeing Mob lose his cool was also a bit scary, but Dimple was able to get in and punch Mob to get his senses back in order. Then came the excellent fight between Mob at 100% against Mogami at full power. It was a visual beauty with the way the whole fight was animated. Not just that, but the way the animation was able to fully reflect on the many emotions of the characters throughout the episode was also top-notch. Then, to end the fight in style, Mob went into ???% mode and brought the end to the fight with a narrow victory AND was able to save Asagiri as well. Her teary apology to Mob felt very sincere and I hope that'll help get her life fully back on track. =) I do wonder if the rest of the series will have another episode that'll match this, but for now, this is my favourite episode so far this season. Bravo, Bones! ^_^ |
