| Ichigo :( Still can't get a real grip on Zero Two, she acts as if Hiro is her darling, all lovey dovey with him, and when Ichigo tells her he might die while piloting she seems very aloof and pragmatic about it I'm glad this episode dealt with some world-building instead of the usual subtextual symbolism that left the plot unexplored. I'm interested in seeing more episodes like this one. |
| I'm starting to feel bad for Ichigo, and even Mitsuru a little bit. These teenagers have a pretty harsh life, and their society is pretty brutal! Still... I think I'm crushing just as hard as everybody else on Zero Two. I really like where this is going so far. |

| I'm glad to see this anime is getting a bit more interesting. It would seem the kids in this world (or just parasites) do not have "feelings"... but this group is unique since they are developing them. As for why they never become adults... it's probably because they die, either in battle or possibly some other cause yet to be revealed (some factor that allows them to pilot). Ooooh, glowy eyes (and horns). She really is a monster... |

| This episode just was a "training" to the real mission... also was to know the real feelings of this young girl, Ichigo, that Loved at Hiro, but for he is just a "sister"!!!! :/ |
| Back to drama instead of action, which is actually a good thing when we're getting character development and world building. For me the most ominous thing in the episode was the comment about becoming adults. Since they've mentioned before their only purpose is to fight and die, and they came from an orphanage, it seems like the kids are some sort of mass produced resource rather than natural humans, and may even have an expiry date.. Re Hiro and Zero (kinda rhymes that way) If his biological reaction is opposite to her previous partners, it's possible his body is adapting to become more compatible with her, for them to be two wings of the same bird, they both need to be hybrids. Also her "heartless" comment to Ichigo suggests she knows more about what their lives are worth to the adults than they do, and since it's only a matter of time before they all die, he'll only amount to whatever he's able to do before then. So if he dies soon it won't be much, and if he survives a while, it'll be more Also since he's represented by the blue x on the promo image and she's the red, I assume where the XX connect and the colours overlap in the middle, that's representing both the bird, and the metaphor of a kiss they keep using |

| So Ichigo is jealous and Zero Two is cheerful and Hiro is in Pain and i feel like he kind of has feelings for Zero Two, witch is not a bad thing since i would probably already have tried to fuck her lol. I wonder if the mark Hiro bears is start to mental or physical change :o Perhaps both? |

| Good episode. Character development and more slow moments. 02 got some big problems with owning things. But Hiro made it pretty clear in the end. He got his chance to resign but he declined. On the other hand the succubus got chlamydia or something worse. Good lesson guys, don`t go for the pretty, shameless girls. They want, they gonna call you your darling and will to give you a ride any time you want. But you will share something more than this with them :D How friggin educational is this :D |

| With that ending in the park and the phrase what "human" really meant for them really made me think together with what the other team hold quite about regarding the "grown ups". It's pretty obvious they're clones or manufactured/genetically modified beings to fit FranXX but still it's quite interesting how Hiro is getting affected by it. Looking forwards to see what's next. |

| What in the hell is that shit on Hiro's chest?! Did he somehow get a klaxosaur aids after riding with Zero 2? It seems to me that Hiro's heart was somehow infected with the klaxosaur's blood within Zero 2. The other parasite's thoughts on Zero 2 really shows how scary and dangerous she is, in addition, she's really cold to whatever and whoever, only caring about her Darling and that's only if Hiro is determined to be the Darling Zero 2 wanted him to be. Well, Ichigo did have to slap her, doesn't she? Zero 2 looked really TRIGGER-ed (get it) That headband must've been the device to control her klaxosaur side I guess... I still felt sorry for Ichigo and Goro since they're the closest two to Hiro, also they knew Hiro's current condition in their own perspective. |

| this was the A1 episode with all the "drama". I don't care really i always felt like A1 drama is bullshit, little better in this show because it involves actual serious issue of life and death instead of just the usual teenage relationship bullshit. But that is because A1 isn't alone in doing the show. I assume next episode will the Trigger episode with the fight and all. Also nice excuse they found to keep low b characters with the same designs and not bother too much with them. Too much pain in the ass making unique mechas for background characters i guess so lets find some excuse while they all look the same boring way. |

| Zero Two certainly is acting like she doesn't care for his welfare now isn't she? Just out for her own amusement. Though perhaps she is just that hopefully that he'll succeed where her other partners failed. Who knows but she is hardly coming off well especially with this episode. Ichigo of course is frustrated at not having his attention so is lashing out. I guess these teens are so isolated that they have no understanding of sexual attraction, jealousy and all that? Just what kind of education are they getting as they grow up? Though I am having a hard time believing even if they got no indication at all about the birds and the bees that they wouldn't figure it out on their own. Suppose its anime logic. |

| Really great episode. I liked the 002 feeding Hiro part. Damn looks lik the whole squad is pissed of at 002. That nasty infection though....I hope he can overcome it or something. I feel kinda bad for Ichigo. And does 002 not care if Hiro dies? I thought she didn't want Hiro to die as he was very much compatible with her. |

| New reinforcements arrived they look so much experienced compared to Ichigo's team, Glad that Hiro is now officially part of the team and Zero Two's moving in with them this I gotta see, I can't take it seriously when Zero Two is feeding Hiro he looks like a big baby, Ichigo feels a little uncomfortable there What's that thing stuck to Hiro's chest that doesn't look good at all I hope he knows what he's doing if not this could end up badly, So Zero Two had something happened badly from the past I hope they can cooperate on good terms when the time comes Ichigo confronted Zero Two about her past and how she's using Hiro and saw what she partially is and what is that headband for, Zero Two already knew the thing that's growing on Hiro's chest is that ok for him surely it isn't right. |
