| Well, the example you gave is not really that great, as you can find a ton a characters that look a lot more alike without really even looking. Your typical visual novel harem adaptations feature almost identical characteristics in so many aspects. |

They are from the same mangaka, it's pretty common to see aspects that are similar in manga from the same author. |

I've also noticed that a lot of female characters with black hair tend to have this hairstyle. If anyone knows of anymore who looks like these characters, let me know! :) |

| Every Ghibli characters drawn by Hayao Miyazaki, either it's the main characters or the henchmen. The henchmen and the background characters especially, I have to emphasize. Since they seem like same random combination of beard and mustache on the same face with subtle difference. However, it had little to nothing to do with the movies themselves and did not hinder them at all for being great. |

| Naho from Orange and the girl from Ao Haru Ride, I think only the hair colour was a bit off. Hachiman from Oregairu and the guy from Nisekoi has pretty much the same design. Not to mention, Taichi in Kokoro Connect and the male MC in Kyoukai no Kanata (only hair colour was different?) In any case, the similarities don't really bother me. |

| A lot of characters look similar, but it depends on when the series was made, 90's characters look much different than modern characters. Since there are a lot of anime series being made anyway, it would be quite difficult to make all the characters look different, plus there are certain anime archetype characters that have a certain look, and that conveys the characters personality to the audience. |
| I see someone mentioned Sieg Hart and Jellal. They're meant to be the same character. I remember Hiro Mashima promised Sieg Hart fans to bring him back in his next series, and he fullfilled that promise by creating Jellal in Fairy Tail (his work after Rave which Sieg Hart belongs). |

| Sorry this isn't particularly on topic but I wanted to comment because I was thinking of something similar recently. So many characters In Mushi-shi look damn near identical it's hilarious. Still absolutely loved the show though, just thought it was kinda funny. |
