| Finally got around to watching the last few eps of Naruto Shippuden. Pretty comfy, but I must admit that the very last one left a lot to be desired in my opinion. It wasn't bad per se but when it ended I just had a "that it?" kinda of feeling. Dunno what I expected, but I wanted something more memorable I guess. Other than that it's been a pretty long ride, pleasant for the most part but disappointing in many aspects during its last arc. Thankfully Naruto vs Sasuke salvaged that a bit, and overall I'd say the disappointment isn't strong enough to completely sour my opinion of the work as a whole. I'm still glad I watched it. mfw episode 24 already, you're fast as heck! |

Catch up with thm every 1 or 2 months. So far I'm enjoying it surprisingly much tho. I just hope they make good use of the 700 episodes of worldbuilding because that's primarily why I was looking forward to Boruto. I really like the whole world Naruto has established and it would be a shame to see it go to waste. |

| Watching the first ep of Saiunkoku Monogatari made me miss the good old translators notes. The episode had like 10 of them and most of them were actually helpful and interesting, like pointing out how certain kanji in the family names of characters relate to certain colors (which is relevant in the show) or explaining historical positions at court so I know where they fit in the hierarchy. It's nothing essential to understanding what's going on (which is why nowadays it would probably be ignored by the subs) but it does enhance the experience nonetheless. Since Toei has slowed down the pace so much I have a lot less to say about most episodes, and that was even during the last more compact Zou arc. I might not mind something informal where I make a comment every few episodes or so, as I feel like it, but otherwise the pacing isn't really suited to simulwatching unless Toei changes something. |

| I think tales of berseria is my favorite game ive played from this year honestly, its actually been a while ive been this sad to say goodbye to a cast like this. There were only small things that bothered me about the game that become completely buried under what it does right. Game absolutely lived up to the high expectations I had for it after everyone was praising it. Its one of the rare rpg's where not a single character was a weak link even by comparison, all 6 of them were top tier characters and to just add onto it the game successfully pulls off something I love where the group dynamic as a whole also goes through development and feels entirely different by game's end. Most games will just have individual character development with only slight changes to the group dynamic, but berseria really utilizes how all 6 of them develop so much and contrast it in just how different the group feels by game's end. You really feel like you go from tense alliances due to a similar enemy to "WE DEM BOYS" by the end. I don't know how the next entry in the franchise will be cause traditionally the games that reused assets have generally been the better games and the next one is starting from scratch and is the first ps4 tales so who knows if it might get bogged down in technical stuff. But berseria has shown its at least on the right track |
