| I thought Free was the gayest a sports anime could ever get. I was so wrong. Viktor's personality reminds me of Tōru Oikawa from Haikyuu. I do love gloriously flamboyant shameless pretty boys. How many times will we see him naked before this anime is over? Place your bets now! 10/10 would drown in fan-service overload again. |
| The show is sitting on a 6/7 borderline for me at the moment. This was the strongest episode yet, however with the conflict between the two Yuris gone I fear I'll lose interest in future episodes. |

| Don't know why but I really like the Russian Yuri. It's like he masks a really wounded heart inside his violent nature. Sucks to see him go. Though it was no surprise that the Japanese Yuri won the competition. He's the MC after all. I expected something better from his search for his Eros. Considering he tries to show that he is 'better than women' his performance seems like a love confession to Victor. I don't find this aspect of the show necessary. A young iceskater who loses inspiration and lacks self-confidence one day has the opportunity to work with his idol and they create a genuine bond - that would be enough. Anyway. I still do enjoy this show very much, it's reallu entertaining! |

| I'm a straight male who had a girlfriend and this anime absolutely kills it. Definite AotS right here. Yurio is probably my favourite character so far. |

| It's totally gay as I expected, but I like it so far. The animation and music is really nice. Also Russian Yuri is best male tsundere. |

| The details and the animation is quite good, Yuri won the event and Victor will be his coach. |
| Anxiety aside, I love how Yuuri is comfortable enough with himself as a professional skater to willingly identify with the role of the 'most beautiful woman' rather than the 'playboy' in his interpretation of Victor's 'In Regards to Love: ~Eros~'. The way this show approaches the concept of gender roles is so refreshing. It doesn't like to box itself into a corner, but instead, allows its characters express themselves as freely as possible. I mean, how often do you hear an internal monologue such as "It's enough to make even me, a man, pregnant Such eros!" coming from a male character? The ambience of the Onsen on Ice scene is reliably drawn. The choice of lighting and attention to sound really makes it seem like an exhibition skating event. |

| O shiet, definitely didn't think that Yuuri would go and grasp his own feminine side :o Suited him perfectly! Although it is a bit hard to believe that he won against Yurio, who made no mistakes at all, just with his charm... Welp, it's not like I know a thing about real life skating, it just somehow looks a bit unbelievable. |

| I think some people have a hard time distinguishing between BL/yaoi & a legit narrative with romance subplot. Sure Yuri obviously has a huge crush on Victor, but Victor was trying to get him to channel his “eros” or so they put it. I don’t think he thinks of Yuri that way. At least not YET. I know they but seriously at this point I still don’t see any of it as bait. I must be the only one who feels this way. I don’t see why Yuri won tho. Personally preferred Yurio’s performance! It was beautiful with how he was thinking of his unconditional love for his grandpa. |

| the background in the skating scenes looked a bit off but the animation itself was wonderful, I hope we'll get to see more of Yurio soon and he won't go away for too long : ( |

| I watch lots of action anime. Infact I think this is the first ever I'm watching without proper action and I love it. I fell a certain comfort when watching this, I don't know how else to describe it. |
