On the other hand, like what the other posters mentioned, I felt like the episode were missing some scenes from the light novel, but it's pretty reasonable considering they are trying to fit everything in three cours. | Another Izaya focused episode, and as usual quite entertaining. Even if the start of the episode confused me on whether I watched the last episode or not. I want to see more of Mikage and want to know her back story but not so much because it sounds painful. The twist to the hostage situation was nice. And it turns out it wasn't Anri's saika who was involved with Izaya this time but Haruna Niekawa. Just how did she break free of the original saika's influence again?? |

| Izaya, you sly fox! I seriously thought he got someone to replace him until the phone call which reminded me just how much Izaya loves experiencing dangerous games first-hand. Great episode! Can't wait to see how deeply he is involved in all these recent happenings! |
| Damn, I totally thought that someone else got captured instead of Izaya, so was really taken aback when I've heard his voice! Badass, hot and full of surprises as always, how can people not love this guy. And we even get his backstory next episode, wasn't expecting this, naisu. |

| I'm actually happy that I wasn't able to see this episode on Sunday since that means that I have only a couple of days to wait for the next couple of days for the next one! I was so sure it was Izaya inside that bag till that stupid phone call! Why does this series like to confuse people so much? I'm so hyped for the next few episodes! The conspicuous lack of Shizaya disturbs me a bit though. |

| I'm probably one of the few people who fucking hates Izaya and couldn't care less if he died after he got stabbed. I see lots of fangirls calling him sexy and "hawt" but there's nothig attractive about him. He's the type of person who would stab you in the back and say it was your fault. |

| Does anyone know where to find the new dubbed episode of this (should be episode 8) I know its streamed every Tuesday on crunchyroll and the aniplex websites but because I live outside of the US I can't watch it on those sites, I even tried turning on an add on to let me view american websites but it didn't work. If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it! |

| That lady was hot. I would have done other things to her than torture her and hit her with a hammer. IMTLD said: The episode was really amusing, with the twisted timeline. But when did Mikage get raped? I think she only appeared few times only the that gym? And what the relationship between Heaven's Slave and that Lizard's group? Who the hell are they in the first place!? And wasn't Anri the only saika's owner since she inherited it from her mother? I tried to read the wikia but it is mined with shitty spoilers and it seems they skipped Adabashi arc or something cuz according to the wiki Mikage appeared first in that arc!? I really hope someone can answer my questions 😢 Whatever Mikage said has no been shown in the show until now. maybe an event to be shown in the future, also am not sure she really got raped or the translation didn't get the exact meaning there. Well that Lizard group was a new group dealing with illegal games and at the same time spying on their players. Everything you needed to know about them were already in this episode. Heaven's Slave seem to be the guys that were selling drugs and got their asses kicked by Akabayashi and the episode didn't exactly explain who they are other than they use the Dollars forums. We need to wait more info on them too. Haruna is the slasher from the first season that also used Saika's powers. Go watch a little of her arc on the first season to remember her. She is obsessed with a scum-back teacher. Yes Anri is the real Saika. Haruna is like a fake Saika. I think Saika has something like a daughter blade of the real Saika and she hears the same whispering love things Anri hears but she has clearly been more affected than Anri. In the first season Anri confronted her and took control over her i believe but it seems she somehow managed to escape the control of the original Saika once again. |

| Really boring episode for me. Fell asleep just watching it. Introducing new characters and not giving us any background on them and jumping into different scenes made it feel like it was all over the place. Not a cohesive episode. It doesn't help that I don't care for Izaya. |

So I looked up the original and it goes like this: - I have'nt forgotten what you did to my sister - I don't remember deflowering her (傷物) - Whether you raped (手籠) her or not isn't the problem, you made her quit school ... - (Mikage) don't go screaming around I was raped (手籠) |

| Two underground groups has just appeared only to be crushed by Izaya after one episode. But seriously though what's with this show and militarized groups? Like there's a leader then there's the underlings who does EVERYTHING the leader says even though there's hardly in it for them. Getting kind of tired of it really. Also I just wanna say that I'm not fan of Izaya and his stupid antics. When he does something, he does it perfectly. Everything goes according to his plans. He never loses. And the way he manipulates people? Damn makes me wonder if he has a geass or something. He's not that special really. Oh and his usual "I love humans. I love observing them" the hell does this bullcrap supposed to mean? |

| Mimizu. Oh, how I would hit it so hard. LMAO at Izaya almost getting caught by Shiki. LAWD JESUS! The way Kururi appeared from behind that tree. Her oppai was on point. I love seeing Izaya fight. Mikage was raped? Mikage owning everybody. You have a brolic woman with nice oppai walking up to you the way Mikage did. Is that hot or not? Brilliant performance by Izaya in this episode. Fucking loved it. |

| The entire scene of the torture of Orihara Izaya was way too silly. OK, she did not know how to water-board him properly (she poured the water on top of his head rather than on his nose & mouth with the cloth pressed firmly, so he could probably still breath), I'll give them that. But pouring freaking kerosene on his potato sack and then have him breath through its fumes for 5 or so minutes "did not cause any physical harm"? Seriously? At the very least he should have lost consciousness. At worst he should have been badly poisoned, since his lungs got full of kerosene fumes, requiring treatment. Yet Izaya behaved like it was in the park, which made zero sense. As far as we know he is human, isn't he? An improbably lucky, versatile and capable human but still human. "What if it wasn't kerosene?", one might ask. Since the subordinate which served it had been brainwashed by the pseudo-Saika she might have switched it with some other harmless liquid, right? The problem with that is that the torturer was not brainwashed, so she would have immediately smelled the non-kerosene (kerosene has a rather pungent smell). The kerosene pouring scene paired with the "no physical harm done" line afterwards should have carried a health warning : "Do ΝΟΤ try this at home or you might die!". |

| This was like out of nowhere, with the typical Durarara storytelling style. Was good but didn't that lady knew how to torture someone when she herself was giving that evil demeanor. |
