| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, the fight is more than just for pride or anything like that. Makio is trapped and it's up to Yotaro to make the save. I suppose this ties back to the main theme of Lancer/Knight lancer hero. The fight was okay, better than some of the other episodes imo but felt fast as well with the small talk. I suppose this was a fitting way to conclude the show with the climax. Haven't read the LN before so I have no idea how consistent this was adapted. Some of the scenes reminds me of the sequences in the OP song this episode too. |

| What a lovely, sweet ending. I thought I had ruled this out for AOTS status earlier today, but with that ending I'm not sure again. Good series. Going to pick up the light novels in my next order. |

| And so Yotaro will be Makio's knight forever. Very awkward falling girl backstory between his dad and Makio's mom. Guess they lacked the budget to actually show us it. So the mystery behind why Yotaro was kidnapped really was his father as well. How dumb. :D Well I guess that ending was cute. I guess. :D I enjoyed the first 3 or 4 episodes of this. It seemed cute and simple enough. Enjoyable enough. At the time I was surprised so many were quick to drop it, but in retrospect they were probably right to do so. The show went downhill the last 8 or 9 episodes. Plot points felt forced and poorly explained, as did the actions taken by certain characters. I'll still never accept how contradictory Yoriko and that chief woman acted depending on the episode. And in the end it just wasn't that good of a show. I'm hovering between a 5 and 6 out of 10 for this. I'll be nice and give it the 6, but I'll quickly forget about this which is probably for the best. At least Shirohime remained adorable throughout. :D |
| Maybe if they made it focus more on the "Knights of the World" it would've salvaged this. Shame, really. I can only recommend this for loli lovers. |

| Well then, it was a bit better at the start, but it got really childish at things progressed. Welp, since it was still enjoyable, 5/10 since I also hate giving scores too low, so more of a mercy score, I guess. I hope it was a just a bad adaptation Yoriko best grill |

| The show was average, it had a good premises but it didn't made it justice. It had a good OST and there were a few characters that made the show worth watch ex: Makio. Well there were times that the animation wasn't the best but not to the point of being garbage. I can't understand... a lot of people are complaining and giving scores of 4 or below when there are way worst shows than this one out there, you most be really hard to please. Overall the show was average not bad, in no way was outstanding but it also wasn't garbage... it was just mediocre so I'll rate it 5 or 6/10 |

| They make that African leader out to be super badass and she's dealt with in less than 2 minutes. That was incredibly dumb. I give this show a rather generous score of 3 mostly because of Yoriko. This whole show was a mess and I can't believe I watched the whole thing. |

"I would've broken him" WTF MAN!?!? Is he like too he villain cause he killed the African Branch and put that Maid in the hospital(ok I like how he put the maid in the hospital part. What? I told you before? I don't like her). It had good moments but it stacked the deck so hard against itself I wouldn't even recommend this to the target audience. 4/10. And it should be lucky it got that. So sorry if you read that but damn it man this series pissed me off so bad. I'm glad it's over!!!! Let's celebrate with a drink!!! |

| This anime was a roller coaster of an experience, and sadly not in a good way. I really wish it had either stuck with the cutesy sort of vibe it had in the beginning, or started with the more "serious" plot much sooner than it did. Instead it sort of turned into a mess of an anime that didn't really know what it wanted to be. Saying this really makes me sad, because I absolutely LOVED this at the start, and was definitely my favorite of the currently airing anime at the time. I wanted it to be something good, and it just failed. Such a massive amount of potential too... It had the best OP this season though! A reluctant 5/10 from me. I REALLY want to give it a 6, but I'd be lying to myself if I honestly thought it deserved that. The saving graces keeping it from anything less than a 5 were how freaking adorable Makio was, as well as a few other pretty entertaining characters to watch. On the subject of characters though, what was even the point of Yuno Gasai 2.0 here even existing!?  |

| It's finally finished! My expectations were pretty low, but despite that, Lance N' Masques still misfired in most areas. I can't deny that the OP song is really good and the ED song was decent, heck, even the soundtrack was fine. However, most of the story felt like a jumbled mess, especially the last two episodes. The animation was decent most of the time, but wasn't consistent enough, not helped by the art style either. At least Yoriko, despite her grumpy and overly-strict behaviour, was a good character overall. Same goes for Makio too. Overall, I would give the show a 5/10. Not sure how faithful the adaptation was to the original LN, but it felt pretty underwhelming as a whole. |

| Finally this anime ended. ^ I kinda like that part and i like the OP too so i will give 1 point. i was planning to give it 4/10, so cause of that i give it 5/10. tbh this anime was really bad, story and character design. the animation was fine. i prefer watch Mahou Sensou than this one. for the episode i give it 3/5 |

| This was a fitting finale - it was as bad as the rest of the episodes, lol. Don't really get why his dad randomly decided to play the role of the villain; can't think of any reasoning behind that. Not to mention I can't figure out what the point of the African people was either. They were there for two minutes and then boom, forgotten about. Lol. |

| Op was good. Fight scenes were good. Character designs were good. Main problems I had with the series are: 1 Character Overload - And absolutely none were developed or changed due to any of the events which happened, also harem was unnecessary 2 Antagonists?? - So a new villain would be introduced but then they befriend the Yotaro and another stronger one is introduced as the process repeats. This was just so repetitive. 3 Nakama - Maybe this show was aimed at kids or something but the whole 'Beat the enemy with friendship, but never kill them because honour and stuff' this is just really cliché 6/10 feeling generous |

| Really liked the show. The knight and princess aspect is something I thought of when I was a kid, me being the knight and all. Many of the fights were lackluster especially in this episode with Yotaro's father excluding the fights from Yoriko. Unless I missed something no real explanation why his dad can just basically disappear and reappear. That ending was really sweet though as I thought Yotaro was going to go by himself and really bummed about it since I wanted to see the next part being more training, more about the academy, etc. I can't help but think a lot of the source was cut like it usually happens in these adaptions and looking at the LN artwork damn shame to see nice work from there to this... |
