| Of course what both of them did was wrong. Killing is never good no matter what reason. But Shimada only wanted to kill them and that's it. The Detective wanted to see them suffer and did not help victims but instead watched them to punish the culprit later. That is just fucked up. He lost all of his principles. He did become a Detective to protect his wife (and probably others) and not this. And even though Shimada wanted to see him suffer at the end I don't think it's the same. He was provoked by the Detective. If he did not say anything would he have continued? He even stopped before. Also the Detective acted like this before he died and Shimada after dying and being pushed to his limits. So I don't think it was right to send them both to the void. But yeah that's also the point of the whole series. Like Onna said you cannot judge people like this. |

| That assistant should just bog off, I'm not a fan of characters who just poke their noses into places it's not supposed to be. Fan-tastic episode though... didnt expect Decim to show that much emotion. |

| Really ruthless and evil to the end the episode; well the guy has become of the same stuff of detective. Although more than aiming at the history of the two deceased, it seems that the narrative has played in fostering greater characterization of Decim and his relationship with the girl. However there it remained ill when they have done well in the end who understand immediately what. This episode is making me reflect on the words of the detective, because I still do not have a clear idea on the subject; since it is not as easy as they wanted instead to believe the authors. |

| So please someone tell me, I don't understand!? Why is the detective bad? He killed bad people! Like rapists and stuff, and the second guy was good too, they just made him really mad and the detective asked him to kill him so he could avenge his sister. He did that. So what exactly is the problem? Someone who murders necessarily bad, it just depends on who you kill and why. |

| Damn that was intense. Best episode left. I like the judgment episodes a lot more than the arbiter ones. That old bastard was seriously fucked up and twisted. Hard to blame Shimada. Personally sending him to the void seemed the wrong choice. |

| So basically they put people into crisis situations and judge them based on their behaviour when they are cornered or under strong emotions? Even most peacefull people are cappable of murder if you push them to their limits. This system has more holes than swiss cheese. |

| This episode's "judgement" was not an easy one. Obviously killing someone is bad but the guys that Shimada and Tatsumi killed deserved it. This episode made me realized how flawed the judging system is. It's like what the (unknown) lady said, these are human emotions and it's obvious that Decim does not understand. Decim giving Shimada the chance to inflict pain on Tatsumi was unfair, it's like giving the final push to someone on the edge. I don't think Tatsumi was such a bad guy. Of course he ended up being like that because his wife was murdered, wouldn't you want revenge? Sure watching Shimada's sister get assaulted was the wrong decision but I do understand his thinking that you can't judge someone who haven't committed the crime yet. And in the end when he was taunting Shimada I personally thought that it wasn't because of ill intentions I think Tatsumi truly believes that he's helping Shimada, kinda like a dark knight. A weak person cannot do anything, this was Tatsumi's way of manning Shimada up even though it was wrong he did so because he believed it was the right way. |

| I kinda found Decim's breakdown a little premature tbh.. Also Shimada finally snapping at the detectives last words (considering what he said wasn't too twisted or insane as before) was bit weird for me..even so this episode was brilliantly executed! I loved how the ED came on that moment! Bumped up to 9/10 |
