| Oh wow it's over. Kind of sad really even though I know there's a sequel. I returned to watching anime in late 2012 and came across Gintama. Samurai and aliens were really something I've never heard of before and I liked the cover art of Gintama where Gintoki is on his scooter trying to catch something with Shinpachi. I was discouraged by the number of episodes because I prefer shorter length animes but I decided to give it a go anyway. Now, this is my favorite anime of all time. Probably nothing will be able to beat Gintama yet in its genre. There is not a single character I have not come to like in Gintama no matter how evil or twisted they are. On another note, it took me over a year to finish this series because I was very busy with studies in late 2013 and didn't watch anime for over 2 months. I expected to finish Gintama somewhere in 2013 but it got carried over, so it literally took me a year to finish this. Oh well. I regret nothing. |

| Kagura was really cute in this episode! Even though I know I still have 64 episodes remaining, finishing the first Gintama series does fill me with sadness...I've never put so much of my life into one show before, and while it was rocky for awhile, and even now some episodes aren't that good...I'm glad I stuck with it. The last 50 episodes were generally the best yet, so I look forward to seeing what happens in the coming episodes... Even though it ended, I feel like I will always have a home in Kabukicho. 8/10 |

| Sweet ending. Was gonna leave it for a while after finishing this series but I might just go straight onto the next 51 episodes, maybe watch the Benizakura movie sometime soon as well. Yeah, 9/10 for me overall. Really entertaining. Gintoki, Zura Katsura and Kondo were probably the funniest characters for me, also Hijikata and Hasegawa. Hard to pick favourites actually because they're all so great. |

| What an amazing show. Great comedy, Great characters, good action, good drama, one of the few 100+ episode anime that never loses quality. Best character is Katsura, best girl is Tsukuyo. 9/10. |
| Hands down the best comedy anime out there. It has everything I want in a show, and more. Aside from the golden comedy moments that exist pretty much every episode, it's also quite the emotional ride at times. Easily one of the best shows that I have watched so far. 10/10. |

| This Christmas episode was so hilarious. I can't stop laughing so much hard. In the scene where there is nasty poop on the toilet left behind which is remind me of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me where FB (the overweight man, not FaceBook) left their own poop on the toilet. Then Austin Powers say "OMG! FB left the floater!" which is perfect fit for AMV Hell/Minis. Then later, the guy get beat up while they are so cold. Does this guy who got beat up by lady remind you of Sunohara Youhei (from last name to first name in Japanese full name order) from Clannad (made by KEY studio)? You know the voice that sound familiar because it the same voice actor duh. Also, the guy get beat up by girl which is remind me of female Tsundere character beat up her boyfriend due to her voice and the lady attacked him that you might recognized the voice actress who did on many Tsundere characters. |

All those story were really well done, with Otae playing the mom and mysteriously turning into a classmate, even though the stories were supposely related xD Well, time to up on the next season. | HAPPY MERRY LAST EPISODE!!! First 100 episode on average were 8/10,episodes 100-201 on average were 7/10.It's best episodes a 9/10,it's worst episodes a low 6/10. Overall a 7.5/10 which I'll lower to 7/10,a good score in itself but definitely disappointing for this series in particular (would've bumped this to an 8/10 if the comedy had been better/funnier). And just to say,this definitely wasn't the funniest anime I've seen,it was funny from time to time but wasn't that funny for a majority of the comedy episodes. |

| While it had its fair share of ups and downs I enjoyed this anime and I don't regret watching it at all. Some of the episodes I felt a strong urge to fast forward while others I found myself extremely interested and others had me laughing during the entire episode. While the cast of characters was overall amazing Sougo is definitely my favourite character of this series. Overall for now it's a 8/10 Now on to the next season! |

| Really surprised the ending wasn't Yorozura talking shit about ending and new seasons, etc. Now for my opinion on this show: Ten out of fucking ten! Never did I think it was remotely conceivable for an an anime to reach the apogee of every one of my emotions... that statement would stay true if I had not experienced this work of art. An absolute masterpiece worthy of its rank -- that is Gintama. |

| Great ending to a great show. It had many ups and downs but in the end it was able to make me laugh more than I ever have. The characters are definitely the best part of the show, with a perfect balance of Quantity as well as Quality. The serious arcs were, for the most part, really well done and the show reached its best moments between episodes 60 to around 185. The biggest flaw is its painfully slow start. Plus, not all the episodes hit a chord, but most of them did. 8.5/10 or 9/10 |

| Gintama is not over. There is still Gintama', Gintama': Enchousen, Gintama: Kanketsu-hen - Yorozuya yo Eien Nare, Gintama: Jump Festa 2014 Special and the ongoing Gintama° :D This was the most random Christmas special I've seen in my life. Falling in love with a cockroach who is also their teacher xD One thing disappointed me with this arc though and that is, no Katsura! It would have been funny if Katsura was to show up dressed as Santa and Kagura would say, "there's another Santa!" followed by Katsura saying, "Santa janai, Katsura da!" Still a heaps funny episode though. Looking forward to watching Gintama'! |

| Kyubei and Kondo stole the show fore me this week, they were just to funny together. Yet another reason why i think Kondo and Katsura are the tied funniest characters in the series. |
| I don't think I've ever been this invested in a series before (both in terms of emotional attachment and time). //lies down// There's still another 64(?)-odd episodes to go, and then the new season which is currently airing, but dang I still can't help but feel kind of sad. Good times, good times. It really grew on me. ¯_(;;;ツ;;;)_/¯ I went into this series with a cynical heart and low expectations (typical shonen! I laughed), and now it's gone and ruined me ; ; Onto the next season! |

Gintoki is the best character, he is powerful, funny, his speeches are beautiful and he always takes care of the others.All the characters have they own humor,that why this show is so funny. | AHHHHHH I LOVE THE YOROZUYA SMILE! this took me almost a year to watch, because I watched it casually until I hit the Benizakura and Yagyuu arcs, which was a couple of weeks ago. now onto the Benizakura movie, and the next adaption! I'm glad I decided to watch this, and I can't wait for more! |
| I can't believe that I watched all 201 episodes. It felt like I started yesterday. I remember when I heared the first time of Gintama and at the beginning I wasn't sure if I should watch it. But after a while I gave it a chance. I couldn't see how good an anime is about Samurai and Aliens, but well I'm so glad I watched it. All these crazy things, ideas, the comedy, the super cool and funny characters....what should I say more. It's an absolute Masterpiece in any way. I think there are only a few other animes who have the same quality as Gintama. It's not only an anime, in many ways it's also an guide in life. :) I loved how they end it in this last episode, also if I missed some characters. Hontoni Arigatou for this journey. My score? 10/10 !!! <3 See you all in Gintama' :>  |

Take for example, "Freedom Means to Live True to Yourself, Not Without Law!" It's something you will rarely see in other animes. And that's one of the things that make Gintama so good! | Before starting the series, I've always been told how episodic Gintama is and that you should pace yourself watching the show. While the first part may be true, I've had no problem going through and watching it daily. On some days, I'd watch 5-10 episodes throughout the day despite it being such an episodic show. Throughout the series, there were definitely a few 'slower', boring episodes/arcs but the amount of times I laughed and teared up totally make up for it. The fact that Gintama had such a loveable cast helped me push through all the episodes and not feel like it was ever too repetitive. Fun little arc to end things. Would've been bittersweet if I didn't know there was still 100+ episodes left of Gintama. I think I'm going to take a short break before continuing, but looking forward to what we'll see in the future episodes. Edit: Not even half a day later, I decided I'm just going to continue straight to the next 'season'. Hehe. |

| Easily a Masterpiece and the funniest Anime ever created. One of my all time favorites. Glad i didn't drop it after the first 2 episodes. tho this Season had it ups and downs, The show overall is One of the Best Ever. 9/10 ON TO THE NEXT ONE! |

| That arc was meh, but as for the series as a whole, it was a fun ride, and I'm definitely going to continue on to the other series! The first 20 or so episodes were terrible but once the series hit its stride it quickly became the funniest anime I've probably ever seen. Some episodes and arcs were lackluster (that ghost inn arc holy shit), but pretty much every episode managed to get a laugh out of me at least once, or in the case of the serious arcs, make me emotional or get hyped! Speaking of which, I was really impressed with this show's ability to shift the tone and handle the serious arcs. The Benizakura arc was badass and exciting, but it had its flaws and you could tell they were still trying to figure out how to handle a serious story. Later on we got Yoshiwara in Flames which was beautifully written and and very very solid. The characters are so amazing and entertaining. I definitely need to see more of them. But yeah, I hear the later series are even better, so I'm pretty excited! And I can't wait to check out the Benizakura movie too! 8/10 |

| finally, I catch up with all 201 episodes. some of them crap, some of them tired me, some of them really fun to watch. all I wanted to see is overpowered Gin with his bankai, I get excited everytime it enter serious arc. 8/10 |
