The soundtrack probably isn't even out yet. You might have to wait a bit.

Hopefully they will release it sometime soon as it wasn't included in the original soundtrack disc =/

Man, this episode really moved me. The get-together between father and daughter was really well done and in character. And it made the later scenes all the more sad and disturbing. The "I failed, I failed. I failed" really hurt.

It seems Mayuri might make it this time. I hope it means that Suzuha found the IBN and has stored it somewhere for them.

So Daru really is Suzuha's dad. Nice detective work by Mayushii~ I cried a little during this scene T.T

Suzuha actually failed finding IBN1500 for Okabe but she somehow managed to change the future where Mayushii is not dead.

But then I realized Makise is not in the lab, does this mean Makise's past has changed and now she's SERN spy just like what Suzuha said?

This anime just keep getting better~

As soon as they said Round like a barrel in the last and this episode I was like "OMG Suzuha's father is Daru! =D" the final moment between them was very touching I really thought nothing bad would happen to her. T_T

Well one more episode for now unless that one ends up in a cliffhanger too. Its been a long while since I watched this many episodes from one anime at once without getting bored. xD

I've always had a soft spot for her, so the end was a very, very powerful to me. God, poor Okabe. Poor Suzuha. Poor me and my ship.

But! It'll get better for everyone, especially Okabe.

Yeah, the Failed part scared me also, as she was repeating it.

I really dunno where this show is going to go, I cant even imagine what would happened till the final episode.

Suzu ;_;

I'm not sure I understood this. Her long-term memory only lasts one year after her time travel, yet she can tell her plans failed in the letter?

That's the weirdest and most awkward daughter-father scene I've seen xD 'Did your mother have big boobs?' READ THE MOOD DARU.

But is her mother someone we know? I somehow got the feeling from 'it's a secret'.

Crap the tears won't stop falling!
I hardly ever cry when I watch anime but this episode has moved so...
This may sound weird but a part that really moved me was when she sent the email to Okabe when she was leaving. It was so sad! It fecking sucks that she died!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Also I could have done with a touchy-feely scene between Suzuha and Okabe, I mean she's his best friends daughter. He could at least have hugged her or something...

If I was in Okabe's shoes I would've gone mad by now. Being able to retain such painful memories.

It was a really emotional moment when Suzuha discovers who her father was, but equally heart-crushing knowing she died with regrets.

Okay, so I made two guesses. It was either Okabe or daru being Suzuha's dad. I guess my reasoning was wrong on a few of them. It was a sad episode, but it's always an open ended series. Characters can come back, and there are still 8 episodes left.

So Daru is in fact Suzuha's father, it's so funny that Mayuri of all ppl was the one to realize this! I'm really really curious whom the mom is!

It was so sad Suzuha failed...shippai shippai shippai shippai shippai T_T

I'm glad that at least the divergence number jumped up significantly! And so happy to see that Mayuri has finally been saved!

I haven't got a clue they were related! What clues did they left before??!

Anyway, this episode was amazing! I almost cried at the scene where they found out that Daru was the dad and Suzuha is leaving. It was so sad but I'm glad Mayuri is not dead. I'll be like #*Dge)gpbvsfja($ if they decide to kill her in the next episode.... This makes me wonder what would happen if Okabe travelled to a timeline which lead to his death. o_O

Of all people, Mayuri was the one to figure it out first haha.

Suzuha's failure was heartbreaking but at least the divergence number jumped up a bit so some progress was made. Poor Suzuha though

These past episodes were pretty thrilling and I've enjoyed it so far, but...-

I'm SERIOUSLY confused. I don't even know who remembers what anymore, what even happened or which time line we're in, what with all that time machine-ing, time leaping and D-Mail sending going on...I just guess Mayuri still has to die as the divergence meter hasn't passed 1.0% yet.

added: After reading a few posts here, all got a bit clearer. I think things fall more neatly into place when you've read the VN, as it's explained in more detail there, in all probability. I won't say you can't get it with the anime only, but I suppose one has to pay a HELL of a lot attention.

hikaricore said:
And guess how much that isn't my problem in any way, shape, or form? :) It's pointless having episode discussions if I have to censor my speculation and understanding of the events that have occurred. (...)

I beleive that wasn't a spoiler, just a result of a deeper understanding, but...if you join a community, I guess that kinda makes it "your problem" - or else anyone could just barge into any Ep1 discussion thread, spoiler the ending and then just go "How is it my problem if you didn't want to know?" which would eventually ruin the purpose.
So I'd say it's proper to be a bit careful with such general statements - just my two cents though. No harm meant.

Still confused about the first episode, as to how Okabe sending a text suddenly changed everything and stopped Kurisu from dieing and how the conference was cancelled etc And how it all changed John Titor from appearing in 2000 to 2010.

Suzuha, no ;_;

I was really caught off-guard on this one. It was such an emotional rolllercoaster with the father daughter reunion and then Suzuha's letter on the rooftop. I couldn't stop the tears all the way through.

At least the divergence meter changed, I hope it affected Mayuri's survival this time (but it's still below 1% so its probably false hope).

As for Suzuha, we have time travel so we'll see her again right? RIGHT? Please say yes ;__:

as I know, what Okabe only did was to make his past self to stop following suzuha. but after that I was like, "what d fck happened?" coz I thought Suzuha's gonna live, but she didnt..

After Okabe stopped Suzuha (so that she can party with them) there was a storm that night which damaged the time machine causing a lot of problems when Suzuha went back (memory loss and things like that, like it was shown, therefore failing her task and eventually committing suicide).
So by not stopping her that night she will disappear before the storm comes and therefore won't have any problems when she goes back and she can complete her task and live a peaceful life afterwards (though not exactly peaceful, because she was always worried whether she really did manage to change the future, but the cause of her death this time was a natural one).

I see.. so she managed to get IBN back ryt? but didnt live long enough to meet okabe and others again, I guess it was due to Attractpr Field. and also when she's in the hospital, d divergence number change due to okabe's actions.. tnx it's all clear now :))

So Okabe prevented suzuha's suicide by sending that dmail to the past to convince himself not to follow and stop suzuha from leaving that day.

Sad that everyone lost those memories but atleast that means suzuha succeeded on her mission.

But that also means that she never met daru (her father), its all really sad when you think about it.

Great episode btw.

I've never really cared that much about Suzuha...but man, this episode totally changed my opinion. The part where she and Daru were "reunited" was very touching ;__; And then I cried so much when they were reading her letter that was full of "I failed" T___T then even worse, I cried tears of relief when the past changed so that Suzuha didn't commit suicide. I'm going to miss her. It's also sad to think that no one else but Okarin remembers the time they've spent with Suzuha....

At least it seems that Mayuri is finally safe! Not sure if she's completely safe, but she's safe for now.
