| Opening and ending songs were laaame, took 1/2 episode to really get moving but... Kyoko opened her can o' whoop ass at the end so the next episode looks pretty promising. Love Yoshiki Nakamura's work to bits, so of course I'll be watching more of this but I am pretty happy with the voice acting and animation style of the show so it looks like keeping up to date with this series will be a pleasure. |

| Well, I hope they don't ruin this one, considering it's one of the best manga I read, and Nakamura's second best. Animation wasn't all that, but I liked voice actors so far. I wasn't so sure about Kyoko's at the beginning, it seemed too soft, but it got edge later on, so everything is fine. I'm really grateful that I've read the manga, so I can follow this, cause with Skip Beat you never know where it's going. But, I have to say this, if they just try to add more romance or change plot in any way, I'm so dropping this anime. I felt my heart breaking with SA disaster, and I don't like that manga even 1/10 of how much I love SB. I want to watch Kyoko acting challenges, not some soapy angsty drama. |

| alas, it is another ignorant girl who falls for guy who may not be what all she wished for...hoping for lots of development!!! and looks like there will be, as in the end she seems to be 100% bad (whilst b4 i thought he just changed cos of wht happend when they were small) so hopefully she'll actually get her act together, and find the right girl and be less ignorant and annoying!!!! |

| I loved this episode. Skip beat seems like it'll be interesting. I'm a sucker for idol-shoujo stories, and i love how the main guy ended up being a dbag hahaa. |
| Well, seems like a pretty cliche story, but I like those kind of stories. Also after seeing this Sho, the early Irie seems like an angel to me, now. I must see this show for witnessing her making him pay. XD |

| Finally can watch episode 1!! Thank goodness for ureshii-yoroshiku subs... Love the episode, they adapted it pretty well form the manga Sho is meaner in the manga though >.< I hate him the instant he opened his mouth to insult Kyoko i hope this will be a long running anime, so that I can see Kyoko-sama in her full glory plus all of my favorite scenes from the manga will be much, much later on canis said: Kyoko is my hero! *_* Yeah, mine too!!!!! This was definetly a original plot :sarcasm: No seriusly, to the episode, this was definetly a bad horrible start. And what the fuck is with Miyano Mamoru, he always gets the sexy character lolololol. Ok but i must admit that im interested now on Kyoko development. Also Sho's face reminds me of Irie from Itazura No Kiss. No... nevermind, is almost like the same character. |

| i finally watched this after so long :D Kyouko is amazing! instead of crying for being dumped, she opted for revenge instead! that Sho guy is an asshole, why is it that whenever Mamaoru Miyano voices a hot looking guy, it always has to be someone who act like a jerk at first(Chihayafuru for instance!) in any case really laugh out loud throughout the episode XD i hope to see more funny moments soon!! |

| It was OK I guess. Most of the episode was pretty boring except for the last few mins. And could they get any more obvious in spelling everything out? "If you want to get your revenge, you'll have to get into showbiz". Yeah, thanks for telling me what the plot is going to be. |

| Pretty wild start, Kyouko is fun and Shoutarou is a class A jerk. The badmouthing was expected, but it really stung when he revealed that Kyouko was the "boring girl" he'd be forced to marry. She sure snapped though, I picked this up because of Inoue Marina and that transition from her sweet, gentle voice to her more typical hot headed one was great. My only complaint is the audio quality, but that might have just been the video. |

| Uh...It might just be my own perspective and experiences, but...um...what I'm seeing here is an obedient doting not-housewife housewife who gave up on high school to move with a boy to the big city, servicing his dream while throwing her own wants and needs away. Now she works two jobs and comes home to his bad mood every day, still finding happiness every time he so much as laughs, even if it has nothing to do with her. I know the show itself points that out, but it's just so...blatantly staged? It's even worse that it plays it off as comedic in some ways, but I suppose it would have been a lot worse if it was played off with lots of suffering drama. I do like that Kyoko took Sho's challenge with fiery passion instead of staying silent about it. This could have easily went a really bad route, especially given that this was just the first episode. At this point, while I'm hoping for the best, I'm still really, really wary. This is, at its core, a revenge story, particularly one with a dastardly, tear licking, evilly laughing "villain," so I dunno. Again though, if Kyoko wasn't such a stubborn hothead, I don't think this anime wouldn't have worked. |
